Oh dear (40,345) by Lamb_O_Chop from Australia
Edward, sweet pie darling, I love you, but you have to admit that the majority of the posts here have been very negative lately. It seems when something goes slightly wrong, everybody and their great grand mommas come from the woodworks to crucify MC, but when something cute or nice happens in her life, this messageboard stalls. Frankly, I'm just tired of coming on here and constantly reading a plethora of negative comments, we complain about because it brings our spirits down. As a fan I don't want to come here and read a bunch of depressing vents all the time. If there was a good balance between the positive and negative, then maybe you would be making perfect sense to me. Sometimes I think this messageboard should be split into categories and there should be a "rant" section for the ranters. Mariah is still working hard on her album. I heard she just did a song with Maxwell, so people just need to be patient and not bark so much about the album not being out. Just my opinion.

Interviews (40,344) by Blake from USA
I have to agree. Mariah is so hard to watch with all her "Ahhhh dahlin that's my bad side", or whatever. A lot of time she makes no sense with her off subject rants and avoids answering the questions. The fans calling into the show rarely had their question answered. I usually have to turn it off with all the head turning, head down movements. She doesn't come off sincere for her success and you see that in her interviews. "We love Nick but he was working a lot during my pregnancy" - this came off so selfish considering how much she has beat a dead horse with her pregnancy. I feel like if you renew your wedding vows every year you shouldn't throw your hubby in the bus but she does a lot of the time. I love Mariah and will always support her career but I wish she could clean up her image; bubbly, interviews, award shows, radio and TV. She comes off unstable and selfish or stuck up. She lives in her own bubble unfortunately.

Critics (40,343) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
If a recent post about critics is directed at me, then this is for you. I am a huge MC fan, so don't tell me that I am criticizing her because she isn't topping the charts. I don't sit here and criticize her. Whenever I saw something positive, I always talk about it. I even talked about her Buble performance, Glitter and her other underrated stuff. So just because a few of my posts are pointing out what Mariah's camp of "yes men" are not telling her, it's because I would rather have her know some of the stuff that her people don't tell her and it ultimately makes her look bad. Do I want Mariah to be back at number 1? Yes with all my heart. Am I hating on Mariah because she isn't on top? Never. So don't make statements that "those critics will come back running when Mariah is back on top" because it's not like I get benefits or profits from MC's success. My love for MC is unconditional. I will keep pointing out flaws if I see any because I would do that for any person I love. Mariah is human, she has flaws, deal with it. If you have problems with it, please scroll up.

Mariah on interviews (40,342) by Edward from USA
I have also noticed that Mariah rambles a lot on interviews lately, constantly interrupting the interviewer. Because of these frequent interruptions many questions stay in the air unanswered. I don't necessarily think she has a mental problem, but it is weird her team hasn't already talked to her about it, since she keeps on doing it. It broke my heart when Andy Cohen asked her: "What's your favorite junk food?" and she replied: "You", but she quickly realized she shouldn't have said that and stated it. Andy was so nice about it, and totally happy that she was there.

Happy New Year to you too Gerald, the webmaster and all the MCA family. Today let's forget what seperate us and let's celebrate what connect us: Mariah's music. Peace to all.

Critics and fans (40,340) by Carol from Spain
There is a difference between being a critic occasionaly and an all the time judgemental person. Just because Mariah isn't on topping the charts some people think they got the right to criticize her. Honestly, I see nothing wrong with her intetviews beause she has been like that since her divorce. We should be excited for the album, making it the best return for her. I hope you guys remember that because everyone hating now will comeback running if she rules the charts. Remember that she needs you to rule the charts yet again. I all this kind of fan a cinic person. I apologize for any grammar mistakes. I'm on my phone right now.

Happy New Year (40,339) by Gerald from USA by the way of NYC
Just wishing the entire Archives family world wide a blessed, productive, and peaceful 2014. As for all bickering over Mariah and her mental health among other things, I will that nonsense in 2013 with all the other foolishness.

Mariah's "real" fans (40,338) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
Some people here think that real Mariah fans can't say anything negative or critical about her. Anyone who will dare criticize MC will be attacked. That's silly. We are all on this board because we love MC, and if here and there some of us do worry about her recent activities, it's only because we care about her. I've said this before, the excuse of Mariah concentrating on her kids doesn't really cut it for me. Like Edward said, there are plenty of women working multiple jobs, while still taking care of their family. Mariah isn't the only one in show business who got married and has kids. Look at Beyonce, Britney, Angelina Jolie and many others. Someone here indirectly insulted me, when in a previous post I mentioned how Beyonce had Blue after Mariah and still released 2 CDs and went on tour. Mariah definitely has nannies and Nick to occasionally take care of the kids, she had 4 years to come up with a 12-15 track CD. I still stand by the fact that Mariah is acting weird during her interviews and it's not just her playful side. She keeps going off track and the host keeps trying to steer her back into track but she doesn't listen. Like Fallon, he kept asking about TAOLG and she kept naming her dogs, the interview ended with us getting zero info on the track and much info about her dogs and cleavage. Same with the Christmas interview at her home, she rambling and at one point the host was like "Marian hold up". I do genuinely care about MC and I hope she gets her act together.

MC Summer 2012 / MC723 (40,337) by Daydream327 from USA
I completely agree Edward. I think it's ridiculous to question somebody's devotion to Mariah just because they have an opinion. I feel as fans we have the right to share our opinions. It's not like anybody is being disrespectful in any way. Besides if the fans don't speak out, who will? We all know how Mariah's team is. Truth is, we are all just frustrated with the way things are going. It's hard for fans to admit that Mariah's career is indeed fading. We don't want to accept it. All that hype and anticipation was for what exactly? It's a shame. I would have appreciated if she didn't release anything at all until everything was right but instead she kept giving us album dates, only to tweet and say it won't be released on 7/23. And I still have yet to be blown away by any of the singles released. All that time recording and you come back with Triumphant? Come on Mariah, you're a legend, ugh. This era has been nothing but a mess. I think it can only get better at this point, or at least I hope.

Calling people fanatics is also name calling and that light a candle part was clearly meant as an insult so I think the crux of your message which was actually a good message, kinda got lost in you're insulting other people yourself. And didn't you dismiss the opinions of the people who said she is busy with her family in your second message? Just my observations. Maybe I misinterpreted your messages. Anyway I see why some people don't enjoy her interviews, but personally I think she just has a playful personality.

Mariah isn't stupid. She knows she needs a hit. I loved #Beautiful. It was a great R&B song and It peaked at #3 on the R&B chart. She'll bring it.

What's really ridiculous (40,332) by Matthew from USA
So fan #1 says that they think Mariah is mentally unstable because of some interviews she did. Then fan #2 responds that they think Mariah is just fine because her instagram is cuteness to the tenth power. Then fan #3 says that fan #2 is just a fanatic who refuses to agree with any bad thing said about Mariah. Hmm. So I guess I will be fan #4, the one who thinks both fan #1 and fan #2 have the right to disagree, and fan #3 is just trying to start beef.

Well said Edward! It really drains on me how the know it alls come on here and try control what the fans say about Mariah when they're just expressing opinions. They say a heap load of stuff that I laugh at because it's ridiculous but I move on from it as it is just your opinion. Happy new year everybody!

It's been 4 years, and Arianna didn't do it for me! (40,330) by Edward from USA
And for those of you who keep using the excuse that Mariah now have twins and a husband, well, there are many women out there who have it worse than Mariah. They have to work two jobs, they don't have money to pay a nanny, and they might or might not have husband, yet they still function. Mariah has luxury to have a studio at home, the money to hire a help when she needs it, the money to take a vacation when she needs it. Those who keep saying she doesn't have a nanny must be out of their minds. It's been four years since Mariah released an album, yet some fans excuse her because she now has a family and she must work so hard cleaning her apartment, cooking for Nick, for the kids, change their diapers, and then go to work, that she hasn't have time to for anything. I don't' think Mariah's heart is as much in music as it once was, and that's ok, people move on. I just hope she releases a great last album at least, it has been four years and I'm getting frustrated.

Name calling again, really? (40,329) by Edward from USA
Many people here have to understand that fans are individuals, and just because they don't light up a candle to Mariah every night and pray to her so that she makes dreams come true doesn't mean they are less of fans. Many fans have expressed concern about Mariah state of mind due to things they have observed according to their own opinion. Well, I don't see why they have to hold their tongues so that some fanatics can feel happy here. I like the fact that here we can discuss anything Mariah without being disrespectful, but every once in a while three or four fanatics come here calling people names just because they saw an opinion they believed didn't agree with their own opinion. Well, opinions are like the ass/arse, we all have one, so if you don't like a post, don't read it. Stop calling people names just because they express their opinion whether it is about Mariah state of mind or Mariah's voice. It is an opinion at the end. It is ok to not agree with an opinion expressed here, but to completely dismiss it because you think yours is better is plain stupid. Chillax, and keep on posting, I rather read different opinions, than going through another Mariah playlist, favorite songs, etc.

Mariah's interviews (40,328) by Deedre aka MiTodoChop @HBF from Canada
I really don't see much difference between the recent interviews and the ones earlier like Ellen when she bought her a nightie and slippers and was showing Ellen how she dabs perfume (with Forever) or when she was on Live in her robe with a stuffed animal ect ect ect I thought both recent interviews on Today and Watch What Happens Live was just Mariah being a goof ball. *shrug* I think there is stuff going on behind the scenes with the label - that's pretty blatant. But, I'm personally not concerned about her mental state. It seems to me, the "rambling" people mention is simply Mariah's way of goofing off, being like a kid, and not taking things so seriously. My mom knows I love MC for example and she loves her voice, but she can't stand how she talks in interviews. Lol Maybe it just rubs some people the wrong way and that's fine. I'm not seeing any major cause for alarm though. JMO.

Settle down (40,327) by Matthew from USA
All you lambs need to do is head over to Mariah's instagram to see that everything is happy and healthy in her personal life. So you guys need to stop. If Mimi gets angry or depressed about something, the lambs are usually the first to know (voicemails, angry TAOLG rant). As for the repetitive interviews, it's true. But that's always been the case with Mariah. She finds her talking points and sticks to it. If they bring up her injury, she will says she really doesn't want to make a big deal out of it but it was a big deal. The pregnancy: she really doesn't want to make a big deal out of it, but she had eclempsia. The album: she is working on it. American Idol: she thought it would be 3 judges. Eminem: M&Ms. Twins: It's harder than giving birth to one and she won't be having any more. Rinse and repeat. It would really take a few splashes and an interviewer she is really comfortable with for her to deviate from the canned answers. It might also help if the interviewers stopped asking the same canned questions.

Depressing pack of lambs (40,324) by Lamb_O_Chop from Australia
What's new here? Please chill all the way out, the women are busy crafting a great new album and putting their family first. You guys kill me with you loosely based unfounded assumptions about someone's mental health. If you're that concerned just pray and support her. I'm beyond tired of the negativity that stems from boredom. Find another hobby instead of constantly picking these women apart for no good reason.

Mental state (40,323) by Daydream327 from USA
I think at this point we are pretty much used to Mariah's crazy fun personality, which I love. But I just think nowadays for some reason she takes her antics to the extreme to the point where she gets a little annoying. Her interviews have become very repetitive, she's not really answering the questions fans want to hear. We're just kinda left out in the blue. I love MC to death, but I have to agree something is just not right, not sure what it is but something is going on. Label problems? Personal? We may never know but she just doesn't seem as passionate about her art as she once was. TAOLG was good, but I expected something way better given that she's had so much time to record. Also expected something more lyrically in depth. This is the biggest gap between an album. You would think after having babies, Nick's health scare ect, she would be so inspired to create her best work yet. Idk but it makes me concerned as a fan. I just hope she's okay.

Worried (40,322) by Liz Archer from Sweden
I am worried for Mariah, releasing singles very randomly (doesn't seem very wise) and she seems not very focused in interviews. I hope all is well. She should do as Beyonce, releasing the whole album plus video to all songs at once.

Really? (40,321) by Tony from Ireland
Is this a lamb's page or a "I don't make any sense with my comments" page? I mean, shouldn't we be celebrating Mariah's art? Since she dropped TAOLG some people are questioning her mental state, or how she should behave and it sucks. First time I was reading other lambs in here I was so happy to find a place where I was able to speak and share my opinions in a very respectable way, but since a couple of months ago, almost all I can read is very disappointed. What is going on with music lovers? Just because somebody is showing her fun side or speaking her mind out is an indication that she has mental problems? Or that she is abusing or using substances? Give me a break. That makes me think if they are real lambs. It is not about to agree with everything MC does, it is about being respectful with all of us, with her. Peace and love.

Mental state (40,320) by clueey23 from USA
Who are you to question someone's mental state? I don't think you guys get it, back in the 90s MC was like a slave in the industry who really showed very little personality until maybe 97 and still then was very much controlled. I think she is a glamorous grown wife and mother who is able to finally be somewhat of herself. Period. And I love MCs vocals from the 90s but she sounded like a kid because she was a kid. She sounds way more mature vocally. And to be frank she can do things now with her voice that she wasn't able to do back then. I say, if you're worried or concerned about someone's, whom you don't even know mental state, you need to go see a physician about that. That's a serious issue that you need to fix within your own self. But honestly, MK ultra mind control is real. And what we saw back in 2001 was MC break away and breakdown from her programming. That's why I cried during her impromptu performance for the fans earlier this year. Basically, singing and laughing about the person filming her "bad side". That's why MC still to this day says she struggles with insecurities. The music and film industries are scary places. Think about Britney, MJ, Whitney Houston and even Amanda Bynes and many more celebrities that have basically sacrificed themselves for money and their art and fans. Media controls your thought processes and how these people appear to the public. I don't believe anything on tv or in entertainment for that simple fact. Smoke and mirrors guys.

Mariah's mental state (40,318) by Martyn from England, UK
I have to agree. Something doesn't seem quite right at the moment. Mariah seems preoccupied/confused. I think there's stuff going on behind the scenes (at the label) that we don't know about. I'm just glad she has Nick and the twins. I really hope she's okay.
