I listened to Rainbow this past week and there are a couple songs I love so in this moment I'll go with Charmbracelet. Nonetheless I'm only happy that it's #1 on iTunes. As much as I love the first album, Buttetfly, and TEOM, I think Daydream captures Mariah at her best. It was eclectic, and it was the last time Mariah went that pop with Fantasy, in my opinion one of the best songs in her catalogue. I didn't like it at first but through the years I realized how good it is and how much I miss Mariah doing a pop song. Daydream contains some of her best vocals, great arrangements (Daydream Interlude), it has an urban sound (Underneath The Stars, Long Ago, Fantasy), timeless ballads (Open Arms, I Am Free), classic catchy tunes (Always Be My Baby) and some deep lyrics (Looking In). I wish people would remember her for this masterpiece rather than for Merry Christmas. I would like that Mariah and her team would put the same effort in this aniversary as they did last year with the 25th aniversary of Merry Christmas. I love Merry Christmas, don't get me wrong. It's just that I'm tired of the anual AIWFCIY tour, reminding us she's the queen Of Christmas extravaganza and all that. But If she doesn't want AIWFCIY to eclipse a 30 year spanning career she should put the same attention and efforts on promoting the rest of her catalogue. (Saturday 2 May 2020; 19:05)

Songs from the album are still performed live on stage today. Charmbracelet sold 3 million worldwide, was awarded 2/5 by Rolling Stone Magazine and spawned nada No.1 singles. Which is, coincidentally, also how many songs from Charmbracelet are performed live on stage today. I saw Mariah live in London many times during the Charmbracelet promo and it was an amazing time in my life. But the songs were really underwhelming. Also, if anyone says "cohesive body of work", just remember, you're actually saying "nothing stands out because all the bland songs sound the same". (Saturday 2 May 2020; 18:46)

For me it would be Daydream. Actually I would hand them Greatest Hits but that may be cheating. Although it would probably make the most sense to try to push it to the top of the iTunes chart so that people are reminded of her wider catalogue. The only thing that bothers me a little bit is the overuse of whispered vocals, but songs like Irresistible, Bringin' On The Heartbreake, Clown, etc make it a good r&b álbum to listen to at home. Charmbracelet (93,926) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City) The Charmbracelet album has some of Mariah's best writing and storytelling however vocally she seemed disconnected and uncertain of herself but I understand since it was right after the Glitter era. It is great to see people checking out her back catalog because in my opinion Mariah has one of the best musical catalogs in pop music. (Saturday 2 May 2020; 16:06)

I do not know what is going on Chez Celine but somebody needs to check the water. I'm even reasonably sure that at 1:05 he raps something like "I'm Mariah... and I'm on fire". FML. E=MC2 (93,920) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City) If I was MC's A&R during this era I would have chosen the following singles to represent the album: 1. TMB worked as a great lead off single. 2. Migrate would worked as a nice follow up as it fit perfectly with the time and it was a different vibe for MC. 3. I'll Be Loving U Long Time is a perfect summer vibe and definitely would have been released during the summer. 4. For The Record this was the best ballad on the album in my opinion, it was fresh but also had classic MC vibes all over it. (Saturday 2 May 2020; 01:41)
