Mariah the living legend (87,374) by We are Lambily from USA Bill, I truly feel so sorry for your friend Maria, imagine not listening to anything after the 90s, I guess she didn't really like Rainbow and Butterfly either, because that sound Mariah continued mostly on, but she has in multiple occasions done something for the 90s fans, Emancipation of Mimi is really that chick. R&b/hiphop are my fave genres and has always been. That's why I when I first heard of Mariah, I got kinda stuck on her quickly, she gave me life and it's everything. My fave Mariah albums are [...] the debut, "btw not in that order". There is honestly not many songs I don't enjoy and none that I hate. I love playing 99.9% of her work. I still play at occasions and I love love love Live with Kelly performance. Caution is also the bomb, it was a long time ago I played a Mariah album this many times in a loop without any other music. Butterfly is the closest. And MIAM since it was my first era as a lamb, but my first song was Triumphant and all of my friends loved it "even the straights" so I played it 24/7. They also like "single material". Anyways the point is there is a huge difference in the albums/songs we like of Mariah and honesty no shade but age and something else's has a lot to do with it. Meet and Greet in December (87,373) by radhames from Curacao Hi Lambs. Happy new year to you and yours. It's been a while since I was active on the messageboard. I was reading only the news, but today I was reading the messages and saw that a very negative person left the board. This person was the main reason I also left and got connected with lambs via twitter. But yeah anyways. I've met the queen back in December in Copenhagen. I was front row and she noticed me several times. I can't describe the feeling, sorry. The vocals were on point and she was a total professional. I've uploaded some videos. But the meet and greet, wow, amazing. We were waiting for like 1 hour after the show, but it didn't bother me at all. The people told us signing items was not allowed, but I did what I had to do and asked her to sign a poster I took. Of course she did because she loves the lambily. There was a guy who was her 10th meet and greet and he told me he's still nervous every time. As soon as I got into the same vicinity as Mariah Carey she said "Hey, I've seen you in the audience." At that moment I lost all the words. It was brief but definitely worth all the money I paid. I am patiently waiting for more Caution World Tour dates to buy another meet and greet. Or at least front row tickets. because I went to a second concert in Amsterdam and I was row 16. It felt kinda strange. It was so nice to meet other lambs. And when I told them I was the one who uploaded most videos on YouTube from the Jamaican concert, they went nuts and thanked me like forever for those videos. Btw here is my picture I took with the queen. Sorry for my rambling and yeah, if the current vibe is the vibe on this messageboard, i'll definitely be reading the posts. I tend to come from a more gentle and compassionate place, that's how I show up in my life and it's in my nature, but it doesn't mean I don't see or say the truth. There are many ways to be truthful and objective, I don't consider myself a yes fan, There have been plenty of times Mariah has made choices that wouldn't be mine or that don't resonate for me personally but I also realize I have zero influence over her. All I do is watch what she does and buy her music. She is the one in charge of her life, I can't make her do anything so it's a waste of my enery to be angry about what I don't like. Andrew is entitled to his views as everyone is, but it doesn't mean only one person on the forum is capable of being honest. (Wednesday 2 January 2019; 20:44)

Never known a real fan (like Andrew) to be so negative about people and the artist we all love. She's a mother to two children now, and proudly proclaims herself to be the first person to be "run out of town" on the message board haha. She actually gave away all her post-Rainbow collection to a bunch of us as she's come to terms with the fact she's purely a 90s Mariah fan and is at peace with it all lol. I'll pass on your regards. Lol. And Special K, I can't thank you enough for that message. I didn't know you met Mariah twice. That is amazing. I know what you mean about how beautiful she is. The first time I saw her up close was the Adventures Of Mimi tour, I was third row and her skin was flawless and those eyes. So wide and dark, just beautiful. Mariah is the only celebrity I personally can think of that her eyes literally speak her soul. Her eyes smile and when she is sad you can honestly feel her. But second or third row will be nothing like being face to face. Thank you for sharing with me your encounters. I know I probably won't even remember it, it will be so fast. You are definitely right about being myself and just look good and it will be all good. How lucky were you to meet her after a Charmbracelet show. I will definitely get back on here with how it went. I also had a very brief encounter with her during TAOM tour in Oakland thanks to a buddy. Mara, girl, let me tell you something. Mariah is drop dead beautiful. At least she was back then. That flawless skin and those big brown beautiful bambi eyes will take your breath away. Mariah was very friendly and when she made direct eye contact with me I swear my heart skipped a beat. I actually asked her to sign my Butterfly CD and she did without hesitation. Mariah asked me what my name was. I told her and she was like, "That is a beautiful name. I have never heard that name before." I almost died again. I didn't have a sad story to tell her. I wasn't crying like some other fans were. I just told her that I was a true fan and thanked her for bringing me joy through her music. Mariah grabbed my hand and thanked me. For a brief 5 seconds it was like it was just me and her in the room. She was so sweet. I couldn't have had a better experience. Girl don't stress out about what to wear. If the fans can get Glitter to #1 in iTunes, there has got to be justice for AIWFCIY. Exactly. Next year AIWFCIY will celebrate 25 years.
