Re: Mariah's World season 2 episode synopsis (76,278) (76,283) by MusicfanJ from Germany
Haha thanks for sharing Mimi L. It's truly hilarious. And the titles of the episodes. Lol. So now we know what's going to happen next. "St. Nick" will be the new number one in December this year.

Article: Mariah Carey spills out of zero underwear dress (76,282) by Adam from US
It is sad this is what the news has to report on someone like Mariah Carey. I have always been a huge fan, but I swear, I am finding myself less and less interested anymore. It isn't about the music - and the music can still be great (ie "Faded"... well, basically that whole album). But these reports of partying, drinking, horrible outfits, etc, etc.

You need to stop checking for Mariah there and brace yourself for Stella's debut on that list. Stella is the new Queen B.

Extra interview (76,280) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
Mariah has filmed an interview for Extra and she was either rehearsing in it or something, but the band was playing MIH, which is exciting, but then I saw Mariah's dress and I was shook.

Mariah's World season 2 episode synopsis (76,278) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
With the possibility of a second season of the iconic show, I found this hilarious post on UKMix by this user named "wolfily", I hope they don't mind me sharing it here, it was hilarious. I'm copying the post here and it's written entirely by the user mentioned above so all credit to them.
1) Ep 1 (Love Takes Time): Stella and Mariah reminisce about their past love life. Mariah is convinced that she has finally found love, with Bryan. Meanwhile, Mishka secretly takes her G Wagon for a spin, much to Stella's dismay.
2) Ep 2 (Them Chickens Is Ash And I'm Lotion): Stella is rushed to the hospital after an allergic reaction to a skin moisturizer she and Mariah are testing for their new beauty line. Bryan feels out of place when Nick comes to visit Moroccan and Monroe.
3) Ep 3 (Make It Look Good): Stella and Mariah can't decide on the name of their beauty line. They are torn between "St. Ella & Co." and "Constellation Cosmetics". Mishka suggests "Ms. Ka", explaining that Ka is a spiritual entity of the living and afterlife according to Egyptian belief. Has Mishka struck gold?
4) Ep 4 (Money, This, That, The Other): Stella has booked Mariah for a private birthday party of a Russian billionaire. She later finds out that the billionaire has also hired Jennifer Lopez and is paying her more. Meanwhile, Mary Ann is left fuming when Bryan implies that the backing singers need to leave the dancing to the dancers.
5) Ep 5 (Thanx For Nothin'): Stella faces backlash from Mariah's fans due to her uninformed decision over the private showcase. Adding salt to injury, TMZ runs a story that inadvertently puts Stella in a bad light. Will Stella severe ties with TMZ?
6) Ep 6 (Stay The Night): Stella consoles Bryan when he confides in her about his insecurities, after finding out that Nick stayed over at Mariah's. Mary Ann lets slip that Mariah has written a new Christmas song, "St Nick" for her movie.
7) Ep 7 (Even Though I Try, I Can’t Let Go): Stella tells Mariah to make up her mind about Bryan and questions her intentions with Nick. Elsewhere, Mishka and Sasha are elated to find out that they will have guest voice over roles for Mariah's Christmas animated movie.
8) Ep 8 (Christmas Time Is In The Air Again): It's the premiere of the "All I Want For Christmas Is You" movie and Stella has to break the news to Bryan that Mariah will be walking the red carpet with Nick, Moroccan and Monroe. Mariah performs her new single "St Nick". Backstage, Stella begs Bryan not to leave. Unexpectedly, they share an intimate moment.

I just wonder how much she made from MAC cosmetics alone since her partnership with MAC is the most successful ever.

27 years of Mariah (76,275) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City)
My favorite single released from the album would have to be Love Takes Time. My favorite non single from the debut album would have be All In Your Mind or Vanishing. This album as a whole was a strong introduction to the greatness that is Mariah Carey the singer/songwriter/producer.

1. Vision of Love 2. Love Takes Times. Followed closely by Someday, All In Your Mind and Alone in Love. It's actually hard for me to pick between those last ones. I love them all equally.

I guess he just wants to keep something a surprise. It makes sense for them to do the song. It's a pretty popular song for both of them. Lol.

I Don't Wanna Cry and Alone In Love, though I might easily swap the latter with Sent From Up Above depending on my mood. Those two were huge missed opportunities. I truly feel like even Prisoner, with its cheeky rap that's cringe-worthy by today's standards, could have been the perfect upbeat follow-up to IDWC and could have topped the charts as well, with its melody that's less fussy than Someday's.

Single: Vision of love, Love takes time
Non-single: All alone in love, Prisoner
I also love "You need me", MC is rocking that song. And "Sent from up a above" so relaxing and cool.

Mariah is not on the top 100 musicians list. Guns n Roses are, JLo too. I was sure she was going to enter that list after a year of touring and Las Vegas.

Re: Re: 27 years today debut album (76,260) (76,262) (76,268) by 123 from USA
Single: Love Takes Time - This song really takes you to another place. The lyrics the melody, the vocal build, that brilliant bridge that crescendos with her hitting a high note over her belting the words, "Love takes time." I could see it on the second album but glad it ended up on the debut.
Album track: All Alone In Love - A great lyric, and the melody immediately puts you in a "haze". It would have been a great single.
Honorable mention: Prisoner - Had the general public heard this track, it would have showed Mariah's musical diversity to give you a timeless ballad and an uptemo freestyle type track where she even raps. Should have been a single as well. She should do an updated version for her concerts.

Re: You're Mine (Eternal) (76,239) (76,267) by 123 from USA
I love You're Mine. It seemed like Darkchild was keen on making a big hit with her listening to her greatest hits album, and instead he ripped off JD's sound and rehashed it. I wished the production was more stripped down like (Tuesday 13 June 2017; 04:20)
Re: Just an older fan (76,255) (76,266) by Edouard from France
Totally agree with you. The board tends to be depressing because those who write the most are the same who keep judging Mariah as well as each other every 5 seconds. It is boring. It is tiring.
Your post is a breath of fresh air. Thank you.

Favourite none singles: All in Your Mind and Prisoner. Favourite singles: Vision of Love and There's Got to Be a Way. Wow. 27 years. Billboards top songs in 1990:
1. Wilson Phillips - Hold On
2. Roxette - It Must have Been Love
3. Sinead O'Connor - Nothing Compares 2 U
4. Bell Biv DeVoe - Poison
5. Madonna - Vogue
6. Mariah Carey - Vision of Love
7. Phil Collins - Another Day in Paradise
8. En Vogue - Hold On
9. Billy Idol - Cradle of Love
10. Jon Bon Jovi - Blaze of Glory
I would argue that 1-6 are all iconic song, you still regularly hear them on the radio 27 years later. That's an amazing achievement.

Prenups, nda's and such (76,263) by RibbonB from USA
Mimi better take heed and proceed with extreme caution and gain control of her wits, checks and assets. Mary J. Blige has to pay her soon to be ex 30k per month in temporary support and that is with a prenup. Ladies, don't be dumb and deluded by the newness of "love", lust or what not. You can't buy love and even "loyalty" is nebulous at best. Mimi's debacle with the billionaire should be red flag enough, but.

It is just sad that she is being so Trump like of late. A lot of "fake news" with no substance or authenticity coming from her and her crew.
