Re: Boobie trap / bring me the money (75,468) (75,495) by RibbonB from USA
Well with Stella advising her and gassing her up, we will be in store for "boobie-trap" music. Lol all boobs, basic lyrics and wack trap beats. Yassssss to the new queen of trap. Or will it be flop trap. Lol just entertaining myself.

I'm right there with you. Although my middle finger to MC happened a long time ago. Welcome to the club.

Breakdown (75,493) by Licia from USA
Last night I developed a new appreciation for Breakdown. The song doesn't pop up on my playlist that often and when it does pop up I usually just skip it because I have to be in a certain mood to listen to it. It popped up last night and I decided to let it play. I listened to it three times in a row like I had never heard the song before. This song has to be one of her smoothest Rnb /Hip Hop infused songs imo. Everything just meshed together so well. The vocals and the raps are perfect. Anybody else have moments like this on any of her songs? Like you didn't fully appreciate a song until you heard it years later. I'm trying to steer my mind away from the mess and focus on what's most important so indulge me please. Lol.

Reality TV awards (75,492) by RibbonB from USA
Well Mimi will be lucky to get nominated for a reality tv show award for season one or two of Circus World. Meanwhile Bey has one a Peabody Award for Lemonade. Oh well maybe this is what Parkwood wants for Mimi's legacy too.

Re: Snake is back (75,472) (75,491) by RibbonB from USA
Most people on this board don't respect stunts with her highly paid employees, but I'm sure it will get her the attention that she wants.

Re: Media whore? (75,473) (75,490) by Lila from United States
It would be wonderful but I don't think it would happen. Look at what happened with the old crew. The moment Nick wouldn't play ball and use his relationship with Mariah to get her to do what they wanted her to do, he was public enemy number one and yes these people were wrong but ultimately Mariah was the one who indulged these people's words and stupidity instead of saying for them to [censored] off or be fired. Nothing points towards Mariah wanting to anytime soon grow up and get some actual help for her issues, so I don't see her letting go of Stella and company who indulge her unhealthy need for constant attention, unhealthy need for everyone to agree with everything she says and does lest her ego be bruised, and her unhealthy Peter Pan Syndrome. There's no way that Nick would last in the current climate. The first time he breathes in a way that they could construe as him being unsupportive of some dumb ass decision Mariah or all of them have arrived at or doesn't play the game they want him to, he'll, again, be public enemy number one. Mariah didn't choose him the first time around and, sadly, I don't think she would choose him the second time around, either. As far as managing, it wouldn't be a bad idea but Nick said that he didn't want business to cross personal in the podcast he did so I don't think he would ever manage Mariah, particularly if they were in a personal relationship. And when I think about it, that could very likely turn out to be a trip to hell, too.

Re: Mariah's World season 2? (75,467) (75,489) by RibbonB from USA
I suspect so and I thought at much, when last week or so she said never say never, but I'm not saying no. She really thinks this show is special. Oh well, I am over her fakeness and staged pictures of a private meeting in a restaurant. I have said before when Mariah wants to be private, she is private and not seen, when she wants to be seen she is with nip slips and thong flops and all. I'm going to try to leave this contrivance alone. Mimi likes the mess, but let's hope she makes good music maybe I will buy that.

Re: Tanaka's back (75,478) (75,488) by Lila from United States
They didn't say it directly but they hardly ever say anything in a direct and formal press release. They go through TMZ and they did the same when it came time to say that Tonka Toy was a gold digger and opportunist. TMZ and no other celebrity news outlet would've cared enough about him to report such accusations otherwise. As for him being her creative director, that's a stretch. Going by Mariah's World she only gave him the job of co-Creative Director to Anthony's Creative Director, when he was still there, because he broke his knee. Not the most inspiring promotion and who knows if it was ever written down contractually. Still, just because Anthony left, it doesn't mean he gets the top job and hopefully Mariah wouldn't be stupid enough to give it to him but if so it's not surprising.

I'm not going to even waste my time commenting too much on this bs. She wants attention and I hope her twelve year old followers give her all the attention she needs. Smh.

Oh Edward dahlin' please, Mishka will executive produce the album and provide her expert opinion (because empower your girls even when they can't spell) and Sushi Roll will be involved too. Probably Mariah's new choreographer.

Re: Tanaka's back (75,478) (75,485) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
Not directly but come on, we'd be silly to assume that the "exclusive leak" of the break up came from none other than Stella herself. No one cares to keep tabs on the MC-Tanaka relationship. Plus in one of the articles this "source" said that Mariah won't be working with Tanaka. That's why we had the discussion about who might step in. Also wasn't there the whole "unbridled" discussion if I'm not mistaken? Last but not the least, when Nick went on Wendy, she discussed how he broke them off. This story came directly from her camp, have no doubts. What I'm concerned about is what his return signifies.

Re: Breaking point (75,481) (75,484) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
It's honestly frustrating to see these. We can only blame the Bulochnikovs up to a point but at the end of the day Mariah has put herself in this mess. I can't believe this is the same woman I grew up listening to, the same woman who inspired me so much. The person I see now cannot be the same Mariah. It honestly breaks my heart to see her image being so trashy. How can she approve these being who she is? She isn't a thirsty new comer who needs to stay on the news. Heck what good are these stunts doing for her? Celebs pull stunts to benefit themselves but the only results of her stunts is her image is being more and more tarnished while her career is at its most uncertain point. It's sad to see you and other members say you all are leaving, I can't blame you though, it does feel like she is intentionally giving us all the middle finger. She has already cut ties with everyone she knew, now she is cutting off her fans.

Sighs (75,483) by darrian liu from taiwan
When will Mariah's career stop going to the wrong direction? Like hell, this era is a comolete and utter mess. I'm not even gonna talk about that "FBF" IG pic. At this rate, I doubt that this next album would crack the top 5 of the Billboard 200.

So called leaked pics (75,482) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
So we have our first set of "leaked photos" of Bryan and Mariah 2.0. It looks painfully staged with them sitting at a restaurant which is completely empty and in one shot Bryan is feeding Mariah and in the other we have the return of the awkward kiss. The first thing you'll notice is how the clan isn't around her when they usually always are, this isn't anything good, since obviously they are taking the photo but I hope it's not publicity for season 2 of MW. Mariah never outright shut down that idea and even if she would have done that, that isn't set in stone since she did say just a few months back that she won't do an album and now we hear she's doing one.

Breaking point (75,481) by Marissa from USA
I've tried to refrain from commenting on Mariah for months and have tried to detach with love, but seeing this latest picture of her and Tanaka/hearing about the tweets about him sent me over the edge and I need to speak on it. Let me be clear, I think she is entitled to dating/hanging out with Tanaka again if she wants to. She can do whatever she wants in her love life, but stop dragging the fans into it by shoving it in our faces when most of us are begging you for everything but (caps) this. The same energy it takes to come up with new ways to troll her fans about her love life is the same energy she could use to actually connect with us, especially since we have been begging for years (caps) for her to listen/care about us again. Seeing that picture, I finally felt the middle finger she has been giving to us for years and I realize that it's time for me to retire as a fan. I'm tired of the only (caps) energy she directs at her fans being used to manipulate, troll, lie, sow false hope, bait and play games. There's a huge difference between going through a rough time and doing some out of character stuff and actively playing your fans for fools for your own entertainment. This isn't a phase, it's a lifestyle and as a result, being a fan has become a constant headache. If Mariah was someone broke who needed stunts to pay bills, I'd give her a break, but she's simply greedy and addicted to attention, and the attention is never at least put to a constructive use. All of this self-degradation but when is her recent music ever on the radio though? Platinum albums? Grammy noms? Throwing everyone including herself under the bus and for what? I'll check the board for a little while in case anyone responds but after that I'm letting go because keeping up with her life is frustrating and she doesn't look like she's changing any time soon. I'll always always love Mariah, but I'm not going to actively check for somebody who doesn't care about their fans, career or reputation. I'll love her from a distance. It's been real.

Tanaka/MC dinner tonight (75,480) by Mara from United States
Ok, come on Mariah. Even soap operas look more real than that picture I saw online of them sitting in the same side of a booth directly turned toward one another and kissing and then him feeding her something. What the hell exactly is going on? Who thinks this is a good look? I don't understand her logic. Stealla, I say Stealla now because she is stealing what class MC had, Stealla, I am so beyond annoyed with you at this point. Mariah, I am annoyed right now. Again, if it were real, ok, we all go back with people or have in our life at some point. But this is just so beyond staged and made for the cameras that I just can't anymore. It's like they tried with hot spot pics with Nick and trotted all over town for the headlines, something happened along the way, Nick was tired of the bullshit and bowed out of the circus? I don't know. So now we enter Tanaka all over again after they trashed him in the tabloids and voila Nick is quiet again, no more public family time etc. I just wish Stella and her empowered girls would be banished. I honestly don't know what will be of MC anymore. I am sick of this at this point.

Tanaka is still her creative director, correct? Did Mariah and her team say he was an opportunist? Did Stella and the Russians release a formal statement to the press about the end of M and B's relationship.

Re: Fans don't equal album sales (75,441) (75,477) by B from USA
Most of them are fair weather fans. Even if she releases a great album or song they still won't buy it. She released an album that we begged for and we didn't buy it (MIAM, I did).

Re: Ages (75,457) (75,476) by B from USA
Memoirs and MIAM were well received by critics and fans alike. Obsessed was a Top 10 on the Hot 100 (#7) and #Beautiful was a Top 20 hit. (#15) Infinity and I Don't were also well received by critics. We judge Mariah differently than others. We're way harder on her. We don't praise every release as her best work like the Beehive does Beyonce. Maybe if she read our messages she'd be able to rehabilitate her image and make another comeback. I'll never count her out or bet against her because I know how truly talented she is.

It's official (75,475) by Lila from United States
I see my words were right on point. We are now headed 100 mph on the Mariah publicly embarrassing and making a fool out of herself track. Not surprisingly it's still in the most obvious and unconvincing of manners.

Re: Clone (75,459) (75,474) by B from USA
There are. I've seen several. There are also countless videos about Mariah being brainwashed by the Monarch method or whatever it's called. There also videos that claim she's a member of the Illuminati.

Re: Media whore? (75,460) (75,473) by B from USA
If Mariah and Nick do get back together Stella and her coven would be given their pink slips. I'll give Nick credit when he was married he did an excellent job promoting her brand and perpetuating her image. I loved it when he said that if one of those reality singing competitions wanted Mariah they'd have to back the Brink's truck up. Which AI did when they paid her $18 million. Maybe Nick should manage Mariah's career. He's got more connections than Stellar and more experience. He also wouldn't need to leech off of her and wouldn't because that would be taking for their children.

Oh Tanaka is more than back, latest pictures show some serious loving, I'm so happy, thats all I shall say about that. If Mariah is happy, I'm happy. Clearly all was written about him in the media was not true so I'm hoping people will be nice enough to respect it all this time around and not believe everything they read. You go Tanaka.

Goodbye (75,471) by SM from Citizen of the World
I am not sure why I always thought of this messageboard as of a freedom of speech of how I feel or felt about Mariah, I replied randomly at times but as much as I loved Mariah for the past 27 years I need to move on, I need to change my life and my views. I looked up to Mariah since I was like 5 listening to her tapes with my grama but I need to move on to more inspirations and as much as I do love Mariah her recent actions dont have anything to do with me so I need to move on. I need to be inspired by Beyonce and Lady Gaga they are speaking to me and help me with everyday activities I wish Mariah the best with everything but a lot of things that were said that she didnt hold up to, I wish her luck with her future and I really hope she wakes up and realizes she needs to be in the studio, but thats all. And if anyone ever wants to email me dvogz10@icloud.com.
