Ridiculously bad videos (74,197) by this_is_qhm from the Philippines Have you noticed how bad Mariah's visual game has been since Triumphant? The worst part of it is that she wants her videos to be sexy but they ultimately come off as try-hard, desperate and unintentionally ridiculous. What if she just does that instead, you know, go for campy and funny as opposed to sexy? We know she has it in her (Heartbreaker, Boy (I Need You), Touch My Body, Obsessed). Or better yet, go for something completely nonsensical. The video for Still Feel Like Your Man, John Mayer's best single in years, just dropped and man it is (deliberately) the weirdest, most brilliantly incoherent and off-kilter thing I have seen from a mainstream artist since, well, everything Lady GaGa has done before she got tamed. The fact that she went to that length was a massive surprise for me too. But although the Tanaka affair seemed like textbook reality setup at first, I now feel like there might be more to it. She looks happy with him and ever since MW ended she has been much more quiet about her relationship with him than she ever was with Nick or JP. It feels like this might have been going on for a while and, unless M is very serious about MW season 2, this relationship might be more real than we all thought. (Wednesday 5 April 2017; 21:59)

Just talking about "empowering women" and posting "strong" quotes that you think makes you look like a "bad ass" doesn't make anyone "a not to be messed with" person. Because show me 1, yes 1 good thing that Stella has done for Mariah or gotten for Mariah that has helped breathe new life in her musical career, and I emphasize on musical career because that's what Mariah Carey is, a musician, a singer-songwriter. What honestly pisses me off is that not only did they not do anything to rejuvenate her career (something they are being paid for, with monetary and other fringe benefits), instead they are tearing down what was once the rightful image of a legend, a musical superstar, and a celebrity who kept her private life private. Now we get the new image of an overexposed diva, who is having staged nip slips left and right, faking 2 relationships back to back, leaking the most ridiculous rumors and just all in all being the complete opposite of who she said she is. Yet some delusional people will come here and say "maybe there is a master plan" like girl where? Where is this darn plan you speak of? (Wednesday 5 April 2017; 20:49)

Re: The best judge on Idol (74,164) (74,179) by Edward from USA Dear, show me some receipts that Randy was fired for that. And in that case, that wouldn't have been Randy's fault, but her lawyers'. I don't know if you knew that, but Mariah had a 22-year career by then, she knew how to read and demand, she's not a dummy or a damsel-in-distress like so many here try to portray her. The only female judge got to her head, and she lost a great opportunity to focus on being the best judge to ever sat on that panel regardless of the declining ratings of the show. I don't think Mariah, Nicki or anybody else could've saved that show, but they could've done a better job. Some great stars came out of that show when they were basically the only talent show, but then a diarrhea of similar shows started coming up left and right. I expected more from Mariah as a judge. I was expecting her to talk about those technical things those judges don't know shit about. I guess that some people are great at learning and being something, some others are great at teaching. Some might focus only on Mariah's positive things and ignore the negative, I don't see anything wrong with that. But then you have those who like to pretend and close their eyes to facts like Mariah is surrounded by leeches and people who are not advancing her career the way a legend of her stature deserves. Just because Mariah goes along with it or says it, it doesn't mean it is the best for career or true. At this point, after seeing the lies on Mariah's World, I take anything they say in Mariah's camp with a grain of salt. For instance, how could you have written a song about a real break up that wasn't real when you wrote it? Mariah's World exposed many things about Mariah that instead of doing good, just lessen her credibility, and those are undeniable facts. (Wednesday 5 April 2017; 17:23)
