Re: If the price is right: question for lambs (73,577) (73,582)

I guess if it were me, I'd make it clear what my role is. If you're hiring me to be your manager, then that is my job: to manage, maintain and (hopefully) elevate your career. I'm not a paid friend, I'm not going to be your live-in whatever. Why? Because then the lines get blurred between professionalism and friendship. Where would one end, and the other begin? Where would work end, and where would my/your own private life begin? We can be friendly and have fun times, but not forget that I am an employee and you're the employer.

I definitely see the happiness and connection when she and Nick and the kids are together. The kids definitely love their dad and that should be nurtured and respected. Nick got it so bad initially and some of his haters still plague him for moving the f. on. I laugh so hard reading comments from people who act like he left them or something. They both agreed to a divorce from each other, but not from their children. It is a lot to navigate for any parent during a divorce and transition and even harder on the children, so I am glad that they do seem to put effort into it. I definitely don't blame Nick for wanting to be a part of a big circus act and yes if Mariah wants to maintain her circus bubble it will be difficult for whomever she places there in the three ring stage. That's what she made of Mariah's world with Stellar's "help". Stelly the bat got her way in during a vulnerable time and blew up the tent to accommodate her entire coven.

There are thousands of groupies, sycophants, nuts who do that kind of thing for free. Stella it just clinging on that until the wheels fall off, or until she gets fired.

Article: Mariah and the twins hit the Kids' Choice orange carpet (73,579)
by Edward from USA

Those who were always hating on Nick should be happy that now she ended up with Stella. They focused on the fact that he talked too much and forgot about the fact that it didn't matter much if they actually loved each other and had a great marriage. The man tried to deal with the circus Mariah Carey had around her, but sadly their relationship couldn't trump that. Nick not only married Mariah, but also married a bunch of jealous and over-protective super lambs. He felt like he had to prove himself all the time that he even ended up in the hospital. He couldn't relax a bit and enjoy his marriage because he had to show the naysayers he wasn't just a toyboy or a kept. He was accused of using her when he was already successful by the time he married her. I guess the haters just deserve Stella. They worried too much about Nick having diarrhea of the mouth, and now the shit is spreading all over the place, and it's not coming from him. Nick is a good man and father, and I'm glad he's doing well. He clearly doesn't want to be part of that circus anymore, and I don't blame him for that. Anybody who comes near Mariah as a potential lover is going to be criticized, degraded, and called all kinds of derogatory epithets. Had he been such a cheater and bad man to her, she wouldn't look genuinely happy when he's around. That glow she has is not only for the sake of keeping face and co-parenting. That's real. When they are together is the only time she glows leaving the fake smile behind. End of rant. Lol.

Mariah's World website (73,578)

Did they finally get lazy and abandon posting stupid contents on MW website? If yes, this is the only time I am glad they abandoned a Mariah project haha, that thing was so cheap for Mariah's brand. I am not sure if they abandoned it but I haven't seen any new updates from that site posted on Mariah's Facebook page so I was wondering.

If the price is right: question for lambs (73,577)
by Marissa from USA
| |
|

This question is inspired by Stella's omnipresence in Mariah's life, even in circumstances when she is not needed. Be honest, if you had the opportunity to make 10% of all of Mariah's earnings as her manager, would you agree to her codependent demands of having to follow her around everywhere and abandon the concept of having a life of your own or would you decline? If you could negotiate the codependent terms, how much of a presence would you be willing to be in Mariah's life?

Now if Stellar was a good manager, friend, bat or whatever, she would have done like this mom at the :19 second mark and hustled Mimi off stage. She definitely should have done more. This hilarious video shows how live moments can go wrong, but you just have to labor through them. I just love the little kids being kids, especially the lively bounce of the toddler.

I wonder if Demi saw Mariah and feels guilty about what she said about her lol. It's refreshing to see that she watched an award show this time not to mention how cute all 4 of them together. It would be nice if Fifth Harmony went to Mariah and introduce themselves. I hope she will do this quite often so that she will have a chance to communicate with other artists and see what is pop industry looks like right now, these gestures will definitely lessens the diva reputation. And who knows maybe this event can be the time for Ariana to meet Mariah and have a moment, it will surely have a positive effect on both singers' image.

"If you have a magnificent voice and you write such compelling songs, why are you dressing like that?" A source close to Cohen says the comment, published in the Financial Times, wasn't a dig. "Lyor was just saying, 'Let's get back to the music'," the source assures us. "He wants her to forget about the glitz and concentrate on songwriting." Carey's rep says, "Mariah trusts Lyor and his terrific team." Taking Lyor's advice to break free of collaborators, Carey has written almost all the songs on her next CD, due out in December on her own MonarC label. This proves my point. She listened to him and Charmbracelet was the result. Lyor spoke with Mariah after Glitter bombed, he gave her the blue dress she wore during her performance of the National Anthem at the Superbowl, and he signed Mariah even though everyone thought he was crazy because she was considered past her prime. His influence on that album and era are undeniable.

And risk Mariah hearing something that would snap her back to reality? No way, "Bollocks-Nikov" was shamelessly there with her whole squad. I understand her being there but I don't understand her need to always bring her kids along. Her excuse is that she can't take up a job where she has to leave her kids at home. Well first of all, that will definitely dry up her job prospects because I don't think anyone apart from Mariah would allow that mess to follow her around the world and secondly she makes it sound like she is the only working mom around. Other working women do have to occasionally leave their kids at home, doesn't make them a bad mother. She should just say the truth that she tags her whole family around for the free trips and nothing else.

Those are really some great pics. Mariah, Nick, and the twins look so good together. It's sad their marriage didn't make it, but at least they really have each other's back. One thing I love about Mariah as a mother is that she actually dresses her kids as kids, not miniature versions of her or Nick.

Haha isn't that just so precious? I noticed the matching dresses and hair style when Mariah posted the a picture of them on instagram and talked about how Nick is dressing Roc. But once on the red carpet I saw that Roe is also wearing matching shoes, so basically Roe is dressed head to toe matching Mariah while Roc is dressed completely like Nick down to the shoes.

Now y'all had to ruin the moment by bringing up Blushy and the Pushy brats (that's my play on Josie and the Pussycats for those who don't get the joke lol). I was happy pretending she wasn't somewhere lurking in the building. Lol. I agree that Mariah looked so at ease. Nothing looked forced. She was just having a good time. Even though Nick talks too much he seems fun. As always I love when they try to make each occasion special for the children.

It's really great to see Mariah and Nick co-parenting so nicely and it doesn't look forced. They genuinely seem to be on good terms and at ease with each other and this was even evident in the scene where Nick came over. It's great that they moved past whatever broke their marriage and it's really nice to see Mariah is on good terms with Nicks mom. It's also nice that Mariah was cool when she heard about Nick expecting a new baby and how she called him up and asked him if the rumors on the street is true, in a joking way. So that shows they talk even apart from the just their duties as parents.

To answer your question, Mother Leech was right behind Mariah. Her kids were also there but they probably had to sit in the back. Nick initially said that he likes Stella, that was a while back before things went super crazy. He recently spoke out about the publicity stunts so maybe his opinion changed, who knows?

I just love the fact that she looks truly alive and happy, all the while partaking in a nice event and looking sober. It's a nice break from the usual. I'm also glad Stella and co. were not only seated behind Nick and Mariah but stayed there and that we didn't have them butting in and trying to make themselves more noticeable or the stars of the show.
