Re: LA Times interview (73,330) (73,332) by RibbonB from USA
Mimi L. girl I wouldn't put it past Stella to have foiled Mariah herself. Sabotage then try act the hero.

Re: Me I Am Mariah sequencing (73,314) (73,331) by tadatorao from japan
The album should start with Meteorite. Try it. Skip to that track and listen to it as the first track. Indeed it could even be the album title as it matches the artwork. Much better than the clumsy and stupid title that is MIAMTEC. Meteorite goes well with Daydream, Butterfly and Rainbow too.

LA Times interview (73,330) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
So in Mariah's LA Times interview she is asked again about the New Year's mishap and she handled it pretty well, instead of going in on the "I was foiled" route, she instead just explained the technicality of the problem and said someone should have walked her off the stage. This should have been the narrative from the beginning, however I just have one question, does it ever cross her mind that the person that should have walked her off stage was Stella? I mean Stella is pulling multiple roles and she's the one who pulls Mariah away when people try to interview her on the red carpet, so why didn't Stella take her off the stage? And why is Anthony solely blamed for this? Wasn't Tanaka also the co-creative director since we saw her appoint him in MW, which (if we are to believe their version) was done filming before the New Year's event so Tanaka was appointed before it. So then it's both Tanaka and Anthony's fault equally. Lastly, we saw the video Stella posted where she was dancing with her daughter while Mariah was supposed to go on stage. She knew her client was having hearing problems from before (since the afternoon rehearsals) then instead of standing by her and making sure nothing goes wrong, or making sure she can intervene if anything goes wrong, the manager is out there fooling around and she gets a free pass? How thick of a veil did Stella use on Mariah?

Some trivia: Gladys Knight has also sang this song.

Re: Hilarious article (73,315) (73,328) by RibbonB from USA
Mariah foiled that ladies con game. Mimi's Christmas song has super powers, to suss out benefit queen's scam game. Yasssss. That is a viral moment, a video of people getting caught doing bad things while dancing to AIWFCIY.

Re: Stella's secret Twitter account (73,316) (73,327) by RibbonB from USA
You might be right. Who has time to tweet like that stanning so hard for Stellar? Only an unemployed kid, or a paid Stella staffer of some sort I would say. That timeline was interesting reading though. Wonder will they put their account on private, now that people might start trolling?

"No one wants albums anymore." Wrong, girl (73,326) by Matty from Vancouver Canada
That quote from the Showbizz411 article scares me. People do want albums. People love a good, solid, well put together album. If she truly believes this, she's far more out of touch with the music scene in 2017 then I even thought she would could ever be. Beyonce (Lemonade), Rihanna (Anti), Gaga (Joanne) had basically no massive mainstream singles from their recent albums (one each at best, I'll give it to "Work" by Ri) and these album have been massive for these artists and have stayed on the charts month after month. I think Mariah needs to do the opposite and create one masterpiece of a full length album without a single single on it. Focus on the body of work Mariah, not your mood of the afternoon.

Re: Me I Am Mariah sequencing (73,313) (73,325) by Matty from Vancouver Canada
Funny you say this. This is exactly what I thought from the first listen... something is weird about the sequencing. Which was ironic because one of the many reasons Mariah said MIAM was delayed was so she could perfect the sequencing. I do love that the album starts with Cry. I agree with other posters, that it sets the perfect tone for the album and where we was at when it was released. However; this is my sequencing with single choices:
1) Cry
2) You're Mine Eternal
3) One More Try
4) Make it Look Good (single 4)
5) Faded
6) Dedicated
7) Money $*/...
8) Thirsty
9) You Don't Know What to Do (single 2)
10) #Beautiful (single 1)
11) Meteorite
12) Supernatural
13) Camouflage
14) The Art of Letting Go (single 3)
15) Heavenly (No Ways Tired/Can't Give up now)

Haha Annabelle is at it again. Annabelle was recently banned from UKMix for harassing the other members and starting fights by provoking members, overusing the word "goats" and all those good stuff. Girl needs help.

Thank you for always being level headed, and seeing things from a positive perspective. Both you and Nikki are my faves on here and I always look forward to your posts. Do have a swell weekend too. Love, laughter and light from me to you.

Ha, ha. Wish I could express how stupid I think your remark is, but right now I'm just laughing. For real. I just love what Nikki, Terna and Danni (and others I'm sure) have been saying over the past few days. Please don't discredit my words, or others. Good weekend to Edouard.

Re: Stella's secret Twitter account (73,316) (73,320) by Edward from USA
Martyn, I agree with you. That's definitely Stella. Stella opened two accounts here and started interacting with herself, of course agreeing with the voices in her head. She got caught and now she posts as Edouard from France. I guess now she's on crack.

Thank you Nikki, thank you Terna, thank you Danni (73,319) by Edouard from France
It seems to me that we are fans of the same artist/woman/human being, the one and only Mariah Carey. Have a great weekend guys.

I totally agree with you Danny. It's important to try to understand our Mariah. Otherwise how can we consider ourselves her lambs?

Agreed. Beginning the album with Cry. makes a bold statement and sets the tone.

Stella's secret Twitter account (73,316) by Martyn from England, UK
This twitter user keeps going in on me, and I am almost 100% sure it's Stella. This tweet alone is all the proof I need.

Re: Me I Am Mariah sequencing (73,313) (73,314) by Philipp from Switzerland
I love that the album starts with Cry. It reflects her feelings at that time and kinda set the mood for the album. In my opinion, MIAM is her "saddest" record because many of the songs are clearly about Nick.

Me I Am Mariah sequencing (73,313) by Joe from United Kingdom
So I really do like this album but there's just something about the sequencing of the tracks that annoys me. For one I don't really like the album starting with Cry. Just wondering whether anyone has reordered the track listing for a playlist that makes the album so better as a whole piece of work? Post your track listing.

Re: I Know What You Want (73,300) (73,312) by B from USA
You're forgetting U Make Me Wanna which along with IKWYW provided the perfect one two punch she needed at the time. Especially considering TEOM is an R&B album.

Frustrated fan (73,309) by Danny from Uk
Mariah has somehow managed to genuinely frustrate her fans and I think it's because we have invested so much of our own time, worry, love and devotion for her and her career. I think we are a unique fan base in that we genuinely want her to succeed not just for us but because she deserves it. We don't want to see a strong woman who in my eyes doesn't seem so strong right now. I have always had a conflicting opinion of Stella. Sometimes I think she's good for Mariah and that we are just disgruntled, then there's a worry that she really is insidious and shields Mariah from not just the truth but protection if that makes sense. We all wanted more and more Mariah and we got it in Mariah's World, maybe not in the way we expected but ladies and gentlemen that there is a woman stripped bear left vulnerable to the elements and if she hasn't got music to save her then I hope she finds it in her children.
