Exactly I have a big problem with this new pics in gym. Because as a fan I feel embarrassed. I don't care if Rihanna and Miley do the same (because for me they are cheap and talentless compared to real musicians). Why must Mariah go that route? Maybe it's all fun for her but I can't find it funny anymore. At least it's nice to know that the new song is doing well in so many countries. I try to stay excited for new stuff.

I Don't - I do (72,047)
by R&B Junkie from Poland

I really do love this (except for the YG part which is too long). Lyrics are on point, the production sounds fresh not dated, the general melody is fine too. Plus, I can relate to the lyrics, so this cut lands in the alley of songs that describe my life and my feelings (i.e. Breakdown, Did I Do That, Slipping Away, Skydiving or Shake It Off). I like the ideas of omitting whistles and belting this time. I can easily sing along to this cut, what rarely happens in case of Mariah's songs. I don't mind if the video will be tacky since I'm here for the music. Also, I'm glad it's not the WBT part zillion. I love her early 90's work, but I became a fan when she already turned hip hop. I'm one of those people who prefer Butterfly LP and Chanteuse over Music Box or the debut one. I appreciate that she does this kind of R&B when many turned to EDM. She said between the lines in some interview in 2016 that she has enough of awards and number one songs, but I enjoy the fact that the song has a great run on charts internationally so far. It bombed #14 in Poland where she is not loved that much as elsewhere. God bless her and all of you, Lambs.

Yup. That's another way to make yourself more relatable. I cannot unsee that. What look is it anyway? Sporty tramp? Trashy fitness chick? Drunk aunt lost in the gym? There's just no way that this is gonna get any good press other than the token "I love her confidence" comment. This look is probably gonna be in the new video as well? I hope these photos and her new clip don't affect the commercial performance of her new single negatively.

Nope, not buying this on iTunes. I listened to the song once on Spotify. Nope. Also, she's been trying hard to be sexy in her videos and photos. Mariah, you don't have to show your body to be called sexy. Stop trying. Put those silicone boobs away. I'm getting second-hand embarrassment with how the way you dress. Cover up.

I couldn't agree more. You Don't Know What To Do is pure brilliance. Pop perfection at its best. It has this timeless sound and it could be a big hit in any era of Mariah's career. I could almost hear it being blared in the radio on heavy rotation. She should give it another chance and give it the full blown single treatment. The first time I played this song to my friends they immediately looked for the song themselves.

I Don't (72,042)

It's decent, I like the beats, modern R&B with a touch of trap. It doesn't sound dated. The lyrics are not the best, but that's ok. Her harmonies at the "but I don't, I don't" part are super gorgeous and I wish that harmony was a bit louder in the mix. It's catchy but it doesn't make me feel anything. It's kinda just those kinds of songs that sounds nice but doesn't have that magic to pull you in. Maybe YG is the reason, his parts were straight up ugly and doesn't help the song at all. Perhaps she should record a solo version.

I have to say that for such tiny release time on Itunes (I haven't seen it in Spotify yet), the song is going up strong. #1 Malaysia #1 Nicaragua #1 Thailand #1 Vietnam #2 Philippines #4 Hungary #6 Singapore #9 Romania #12 Sweden #13 Brazil #13 Taiwan #19 Peru #22 Spain #26 Indonesia #26 United Arab Emirates #27 Portugal #31 Australia #31 Jordan #33 Chile #36 Israel #38 Poland #40 Czech Republic #40 Netherlands #41 Colombia #41 Hong Kong #43 Argentina #45 New Zealand #53 Italy #54 United Kingdom #59 United States #60 Ireland It has just entered other European countries and is going up by the hour. I think the release of the video will make an impact. Her FB live feed attracted more than a million people in just one hour. Shout outs to Nikki and Mimi L. for the nice review because it was just too late hours for me to watch it, so thanks for the heads up. Dissapointed there won't be an album but singles is also what many seem to be popping, albums seem to start becoming a thing of the past, maybe Mariah will make a new trend out of this. Fast served music.

This new song has a very addictive loop that stays in your head. While it may not be the most groundbreaking song ever I appreciate it very much as I also like the use of the Donell Jones sample as it is one of my favorite R&B songs. I feel the YG part was unnecessary as it brought nothing to the song. Otherwise than that this is a very solid effort nonetheless but I hope that MC can get out of her own way and try and take some risks musically but not straying too far from her core sound and audience. Come on MC bring out that fire.

To be honest, everyone is doing the same thing, I think Mariah is just going with the flow, Mariah is not even being as raunchy and all in it like some, there's just touchy here and there but that's it. For some reason, people are ok with every other artist doing whatever they want but not Mariah, she gets the whip really bad. I'm fine with whatever image she choses, I don't believe it is too bad, I've seen more ass in Glitter era, this seems to be the boobalicious on your face era (though boobies and lets have been up and out since day one). I care the music, and it's somewhat satisfying that I Don't sounds so much better than Infinity. What I dislike about this era is that when it comes to her singing live or producing music is like a gamble, you hope for the best, roll the dice and wait the results. Before, I knew I was going to get something good no matter what.

I've seen a high amount of lambs and even non lambs on Instagram loving the show. Read an article time ago and people who weren't lambs were commenting to being guilty and watching the show, some even felt 8 episodes was too short. I don't know about the ratings, but perhaps she should venture to online tv and throw the show there if wants to have a second season, I think it will be more succesful than cable tv.

Also, I just want to say, that all the "lambs" who went on the live chat and said "We love MW, please do a season 2", thanks a lot for putting that in her head that it was a great idea. You all clearly want this woman's ship to sink harder than the Titanic. I can't believe people would go and encourage her to do more of that crap especially after it turned her image and credibility into a joke. Stella was in the background acting coy saying "they'll have to wait and see". Bet her muddy blush was extra bright (read muddy) from that.

I actually quite like "I Don't". I suspect this will all change when I see the R18+ video clip though. One question - why get a rapper on board that clearly has a speech impediment and learning disabilities?

I'm really concerned for Mariah's mental health however I can't determine if it's sheer narsassism or is she genuinely unwell. It's like the more backlash she gets the more unruly and vulgar she becomes. I honestly think this is the worst era ever for her wellbeing and her career.

I Don't (72,030)
by Randy from USA

This is interesting; I'm liking parts of the song. The stuttering beat and the sample are good. I hate the rapper and can't understand why she needs a rapper on so many of her records. I remember the review of Rainbow written in VIBE in 99. "There was a time when pairing a singing thrush with a rapper would have been ground breaking; ground has been broken, next." MC is 46 going on 47. She doesn't need rappers on her records. And everyone is right, dude adds nothing to the song. I also don't like the word buggin in the hook. But this is better than Infinity and I almost believe she can sing this one live, without a backing track or a wall of background vocalists, although she probably won't.

Full song first impression (72,029)
by Marissa from USA

I like the beat and Mariah's parts but, contrary to what I initially thought, YG ruined this track for me. Same way I felt about JD in Get Your Number. It really makes me question how much respect YG has for Mariah if he put that weak of a rap on her track. I could have rapped something better than that and I'm just an everyday professional. I doubt that he would have done the same half-assed rap for Beyonce, but then again I have to question what the deal is with Mariah for her to think that actually sounded hot and even be willing to release a song with him in it if he's only willing to bring his "F game" for his rap. If there's a rap-free version released then I stand by my thoughts of liking this song. Is it a masterpiece? No, but it's a start.

MC Facebook Live (72,028)

First of all she was in a body suit and fishnets on a hotel bed lol. (1) She said she'll do more singles, but not an album. (2) She's apparently doing a secret project with a friend of hers which will be released soon. (3) The sample was JD's idea. (4) She recorded something recently with Roc and Roe in the studio. She didn't mention if it's a song or not. (5) Her favorite lyric from "I Don't" is "pity party of the year". (6) She wrote the song a month ago. (7) There was a little Brett shade. She didn't mention any names but she said she has the video ready to be released on the same day as the song and she said she usually tries to get the video out as soon as she can but if there's a delay it's not usually her fault. She explains that sometimes her friends direct some of her videos and sometimes they are behind schedule "like 2 weeks" and by that time it's too late. So I'm guessing this is about Brett being late to shoot the "Infinity" video. (8) She said about MW season 2 "you'll have to wait and see". (9) Favorite songs - "Petals", "Outside", "Looking In", "Close My Eyes", "I Don't", "Fantasy", "Heartbreaker" and TMB. (10) Favorite Valentine's Day song - "My All". (11) She confirmed she'll be in the Batman Lego movie, playing the part of the Mayor. She'll attend the premiere this Saturday.

100% agree. You Don't Know What To Do absolutely could have been a lead single and even had a chance at reaching #1, especially considered it was released around the Uptown Funk era. It would have been the best second single choice from MIAM and could have reshaped that album's success. This is the sounds and direction JD needs to go in as a producer, it was a great new direction for his sound.

I agree with Mike. Andrew, you don't speak for anyone but yourself dude. Not here for your generalized delusion that you speak for all. I'm not even commenting on the song, I'm saying you don't speak for everyone. Obviously some people are vibe with the song because her label pushed it forward. Let people have their joy if they like the song.

It's alright. It sounds like one of those songs on the album that's added for filler. I don't really listen to today's music, so I can't really give compare it to what's out there. As someone who has listened to every single Mariah song that I could possibly get my hands on, this one goes on the very small list of songs that I will always "skip" over. I have no desire to hear it again.
