I personally think only the Inuits for example should wear fur or people in Siberia. Rich and "normal" city people shouldn't wear it. It's disgusting. Fake fur looks nice too. Anyway I don't like the website of Mariah's World at all.

Unless you are a full blown vegan (that includes food, clothing, cleaning products and makeup choices), no one has any room to judge Mariah or anyone else for that matter. Over half of the celebrities who have posed for the "I'd rather go naked than wear fur" campaign still eat meat, have leather private jet seats and probably don't give a damn whether their makeup has been tested on animals or not. There is just so much hypocrisy when it comes to this issue that I don't think it's fair to start hate campaigns against people unless you are 100% committed to the cause yourself. Animal rights advocates, continue to spread awareness, but understand that it's going to be difficult to convince most of society that with all of the human rights issues we have today, that they should focus their energy on cows, chinchillas, rabbits, etc. Like it or not, there will always be that divide to a certain extent. Andrew, you have the nerve to go off on someone about animal rights when you talk about Mariah, a human being, like she's a cockroach almost daily? This is the hypocrisy that I'm talking about. People will go into a depression over the struggles of a cow but will treat their fellow human beings like complete trash. Boy bye.

I must say when you read the majority of the posts they do come off as preachy, egotistical, negative, very judgemental and past rude. Does make you wonder are there any fans up on this piece? I do think some folks up in here have no damn lives and love to bash Mariah on the daily because it makes their pathetic sorry lives have some type of purpose. Do I agree with everything Mariah does? Hell no. In the present I think Mariah is way out of bounce and when I see some of things she is doing it makes me cringe. I know Mariah is better than this and so do the majority of the fans here however I don't see the need to come on MCArchives to bash her on the daily or even weekly. Ain't that deep. I'm sorry to see you go. Good luck.

Andrew you are a classic. I hate to agree with you but I agree with you 1000 percent. I'd also love if "lambs" would just stop blaming everything Mariah does on her stylist, Stella, assorted leaches, record company, Mercury in retrograde or global warming. Mariah is as Mariah does just like all of the rest of us. We are accountable for our own actions as is she and no amount of celebrity, hit records or anything else merits a pass for mis-steps. If you get to take credit for your hits then you better own your flops as well.

Another shameless Mariah hire Rachel Zoe as your stylist plea. Did you know Lionel Richie's daughter Nicole became an overnight fashionista (fashion icon) once she hired Zoe as her stylist.

Re: Fur coat? (70,370) (70,383) by B from USA
Let's be honest Mariah doesn't dress herself and she doesn't put her own shoes on anymore. The stylist is to blame and whoever is operating that new site.

Re: If Stella lurks in the darkness (70,352) (70,381) by Martyn from England, UK
Maybe we should start a campaign. We could flood each of these horrendous posts by copying and pasting #MakeMusicNotClickbait a million times on each post. Stella seems to respond well to hashtags lol. I'll kick start it on the most recent post now.

Thank you for referencing my post in your dramatic departure message. (I bet you're on of those people who announces they're taking a "break" from Facebook/Twitter. If you really want to go, just go, we don't need an official statement.) I have no problem with Mariah's team writing a blog post about George Michael in tribute to his death, I actually think it's a nice idea, but hyperlinking the album name to the purchase page on iTunes is distasteful and inappropriate. Anyway, enjoy your new life away from this board, I hope it brings you much happiness.

Leave Mariah alone (70,377) by darrian liu from taiwan
No, before all of y'all attack me, I don't mean that we should stop posting our opinions. I mean Stella and her team should leave Mariah alone for a while. Leave Mariah and her kids alone, maybe just with her old friends like Lee Daniels, etc. I think while Mariah should be held accountable for her actions, Stella and her team does have an influence on her - especially Stella. No Stella. No Tanaka. No whoever that is. I really, really think Mariah should reflect and think by herself and that she needs a genuine advice from a good friend who isn't on her payroll. I think she's becoming more and more detached from reality and her actions have been more and more questionable. (Fur coats? Really Mariah?)

I agree. I like to read everyone's opinions whether I agree or not. If a person gets too out of hand I just don't click anything that they have to say. Everything isn't rainbows and unicorns. Some of us can be harsh with our opinions (sometimes it can get downright mean), but we all want the best for Mariah. We all know she's better than these stunts she's been pulling. Anyway good luck on your Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram real fan journey. I've found that MCA is much tamer than those three places. Those so called "real fans" can be just as ruthless and way harsher.

I honestly do not think Mariah is aware of what is being written on that awful site. That is not to excuse her promoting fur, as ignorance is negligence. I really do not recognise the Mariah we see on the Mariahsworld website. It is disgusting, tacky and in no way focused on her fan base. Mariah is so out of touch with reality. For every interview in which she proclaims to be all about the music and a songwriter, she discredits herself with a reality show and a clickbait website. All Mariah wants is money. She has no interest in music. If she did, we would have heard her alleged "secret" album, or she would focus on making a good record. Instead, she is hanging off of the coattails of Lional Richie for some spare change, and is promoting large companies on a clickbait website. Mariah not only dresses like a prostitute, but is starting to show the integrity of one too.

Re: Why not wearing them? They're cute (70,368) (70,371) by RibbonB from USA
Most animals raised and slaughtered for commercial use are raised inhumanely. That won't make the masses become vegan or vegetarian for that matter, or stop the masses from wearing leather garments. PETA also has write ups about leather making, lobster killing, the list goes on. Yes the wearing of fur is more politically incorrect, but it is what it is and is any animal less important to the next? Humans consume animals all day, every day around the world. But, I wouldn't wear a fur coat, because I don't own one, nor would I buy one. But I bet Aretha continues to drop her mink on stage whenever she feels like it. It is her prerogative. Mariah is making money off of her website, hopefully whomever is posting will endeavor to be more politically correct.

Re: Fur coat? (70,355) (70,370) by Marissa from USA
Over the past 26 years, we've seen Mariah wear leather, fur, wool, snakeskin, we know that she's neither a vegan nor vegetarian, etc. Mariah has proven over the years to not be a serious non-domestic animal rights advocate. To me, it shouldn't be any more of a dealbreaker now than it was years ago. I feel like there is selective outrage when it comes to wearing fur, but people typically don't care about other animal materials (like leather seats, shoes, bags, jackets or wool) that we have seen her wear very frequently throughout the years.

Re: I'm leaving MCA behind in 2016... shake it off (70,361) (70,369) by Edward from USA
If that were case, and Andrew were as bad as you implied, your post and Radhames' wouldn't have seen the light of day. Don't you think? MCArchives has always been this way, when most fans website have disappeared, this site has stayed up because the dedication Eric has put into keeping it up and because we can express our opinions whether some might like them or not. Through the years there have been many posts and even posters I haven't liked, but I appreciate the fact they were there and were allowed the same freedom to post as me and anybody else. I guess, somebody hacked www.Mariahsword.com, she's the one promoting fur coats.

Why not wearing them? They're cute (70,368) by Edward from USA
For those who see nothing wrong with wearing fur coats, take a look at this video from Peta. You might not think the same way after you see it. Since when did human beings become so inhumane? Those who wear fur coats create the demand for them hence they're as responsible for the cruelty these animals are put through as the those who skin them alive or just kill them inhumanely for that purpose.
