Re: Her children (70,231) (70,234) by Tyler from USA
Mariah showing cleavage means there's a concern for her kids? I'm not sure how we come up with that formula. Mariah is just a tacky dressier and wants attention. Please don't make this a reason to throw personal attacks when we know nothing.

Amen Edward. I totally agree with everything you said. That's on my mind every time I see a picture lately. I just don't understand the reason why.

Re: "Baby Bling" post on MariahsWorld website (70,224) (70,232) by Lila from United States
Those were toy cars brought for their birthday. They are not that expensive and plenty of other kids have them, or versions of other luxury or non luxury toy car replicas, mostly brought on special occasions like birthdays and Christmas, same as the twins. Also, maybe I missed something but I didn't know that Monroe got a giant Cinderella bed. If you mean the one Nick bought Monroe, it was very pretty but it looked normal to me and it didn't strike me as being very expensive. Anyway, I'm not saying that the twins never got anything costly, especially because baby gear is expensive by nature anyway, and most people splurge on their kids sometimes, but most of the stuff on that list is nothing but overpriced and impractical everyday baby stuff. The twins did not have Swarovski crystal potties, Gucci baby carriers, or an almost $5K impractical and ugly stroller. Minus the car seat and the spoon, the rest is just one off items that you'd be hard pressed to find for sale because the makers already knew that it's a novelty that would take the right kind of eccentric or nouveau rich idiot to buy for a baby and those are far and in between. As for the Gucci baby carriers, I've only ever seen two celebrities use them before: Brittany and Gwen Stefani. They didn't even use them that long. The things looked flimsy, unsafe, and uncomfortable. Most of the other people who bought those things are now selling them second hand, most looking like they've never been used. Also, all of that stuff listed was reported about on other websites years ago. Mariah's website is not aimed at adults who can afford high end things. Gwyneth Paltrow's is but not hers. Mariah's website looks like yet another of those cheap websites dedicated to listing the most expensive and tacky things you can find, sprinkled with flimsy beauty and style advice so common, or common sense, that another article didn't need to be written on it.

There is nothing wrong with expressing concern for children. Not to mention we are all just seeing this MW video stuff. They obviously want feedback. It is a sad day when people don't express concern for others, especially kids. If others want to keep blinders on, then it is what it is, but children's lives matter.

Nick (70,230) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City)
While I truly wish Nick a speedy recovery, on the other hand Nick is hardheaded because since his lupus diagnosis he was told he had to get proper rest no less than six hours a day, change his eating habits, and cut back on the travel and work schedule significantly which he has not done and this is the end result. Until Nick stops being pigheaded and changes his lifestyle this is going to be his reality.

That is definitely the vibe I got too, soft Santa porn. She used professional child dancers in her show and other videos, maybe she should leave Roc and Roe out of her performances. I wonder would she have felt comfortable hugging other kids to her boobs? Would other parents have allowed and released that if their kids were the children exposed in the video? I hope the other ones that she will release are not even worse/more explicit.

I hope he feels better soon. I'm glad he got to spend some of the holiday with the kids and decorated trees before he got hospitalized.

Her children (70,227) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City)
Excuse me, all the saints on this board, who live a perfect, who does everything by the book, give me a break, yeah, some of Mariah's actions this year may have been questionable, but one thing I will never question is her love and care for her children, how she chooses to raise them is her business, and if the conditions in which she chooses to raise her children were that bad, why hasn't Nick or anyone close to either of them gone to court and demanded full custody of Roc and Roe? So please people, instead of worrying about what choices she makes regarding her family, make sure your backyard is crystal clean.

Mariah has been living in Mariah's World for years. I could care less by now her boobalicious acts, it's like I sweat I'm expecting to see that every single time, if she doesn't do it all I can think of is she might have a really bad cold haha. What I do expect is good music, is the only thing that it keeps me clinging to this woman for so long, the expectation that she can still create amazing music. I loved what was going on in her Christmas video, loved the song, adored the angelic voice, but the dress, the grabbing of that pole didn't make it any better, whoever sprayed tanned her body made her look plastic, so bizarre. I do think she looked gorgeous, but like someone said, it felt so weird seeing her hugging her kids with that dress. I have nothing against porn stars, all people choose their paths and sex is just fine. But since when Mariah's image turned so much from sexy to sexual? It feels like she is trying to sell a porno rather than a Merry Christmas let's be festive, isn't she always bragging her religious roots, where's her Jesus? Her Christmas every year seems to be more about the materialistic galore, just look at the latest tree she shared in a pic, is there a need? We know it Mariah, you are queen of Christmas, and I love it, love how festive she is and how much into it she is, but Christmas is less about boobs, luxurious presents and giant trees and more about giving and sharing. Shouldn't she be making a concert to donate money or something at least rather than what bling can you gift this year? Just an opinion.

Regular baby things? Haha, in what world you live. Those kids got very pricy stuff. Just looking alone at Monroe's baby room back then with the giant Cinderella bed or the very expensive made-like-daddy's version mini cars for each of them when they hardly could walk should give you a glimpse they don't get "regular baby stuff". At least right now she dresses her kids accordingly and they look cute and comfy for play, she used to dress darling Monroe as a cake doll all the time when she was baby. That website is obviously aimed at high-end people. The same who consume other celebrity stupid sites like Paltrow and her 150k dollars dildo. What the heck these people are thinking, boggles my mind.

Article: Mariah serves too much cleavage in R-rated music video (70,222) by Giselle UrbanPoshBeauty from US of A
That red dress is terrible. It does. Thing for her shape. She's very boxy in the middle no waist at all this dress was made for a JLO or Beyoncé who have waists. I don't know why people are so shocked by Mariah's behavior she's been doing this for over a decade. This woman is very insecure and it shows a lot now. I agree with the font who said she has boundaries issues this video and her video on instagram with Roc with her breast out in a bra around Roc. Mariah lives in her own bubble that's why I don't relate to her anymore. I used to think I did being biracial and all but not anymore. She's so unrelatable and seems so into herself now not the down to earth girl we all loved. Her clothes are tacky, her new website is tacky, she basically sold her name for use to a company to hawk a lifestyle brand using her name. For me it's all about the music now. I no longer stick up for her when friends trash her. I could care less. Also you can totally now see the difference in her face in this video. Before when Lambs said anything I never saw it. She looks a little different now but still very beautiful.

Nick and Mariah (70,219) by Tameka walker from United states
First I would like to wish Nick a speedy recovery. Second I would likely to say that on Mariah's World there was this one person on there that said show your boobs and look sexy. So I am just saying maybe she thinks people want her to be this way. Maybe that's one reason why she acts out like this. The clothes.

Re: Article: Mariah serves too much cleavage in R-rated music video (70,195) (70,217) by RibbonB from USA
Her behavior is very odd, especially with respect to her children. That she has boundary issues is clear and potentially dangerous. The whole scene is beyond weird. She seems to seek to normalize behavior which would normally be questioned. New boy toy could be a child predator right under her own roof, but if she is too stoned or giddy about getting press, she may not even notice or care. That is why it is not a good idea to date with your children. Young help might want to date the children. If M. keeps folding new people into her and her children's private sphere, then folding them out when she is done, the babies will be hurt. She needs some clear and distinct boundaries around her children. They need a protective bubble, not just to live in her bubble and deal with all that she deals with. This is not an accusation, just an observation. But hey, we now have an elected president who will be treating his daughter as the first lady and their history in pictures is quite creepy, but the media ignores that. He is seeking to normalize all manner of creepy, if not illegal behavior as well. Well, happy holidays.

Re: Here Comes Santa Claus / The Keys of Christmas (70,211) (70,216) by Licia from USA
It's not really about her doing whatever she wants with her body. She can and will do whatever she wants whether we agree or not. I just figured since it's Christmas that she'd kind of tone down the boobage and ramp up the class. The white dress for the other two videos isn't bad. There's boobage still, but they are not in your face about to pop out at any moment and give you a black eye. That red dress is just inappropriate for the occasion IMO.

Re: A galaxy far, far away (70,210) (70,215) by THE TRUTH from USA
Your inability to critically analyze what is clear to anyone that uses their brain is that Mariah's mental state, image, and career choices have been on an accelerating decline since leaving Tommy. Pretty much everyone here who isn't trolling or in a state of chronic denial sees that as well. The Mariah of the 90s was unstoppable and her image was one that was G rated and not Kardashianesque. Today it's a full on trainwreck and we can only hope that she wakes up, smells the coffee and embraces the legendary status she threw away. PS "Lanister" I imagine you aren't much of a chess player.

Re: Clownish version of her former self? (70,202) (70,214) by Liz Archer from Sweden
I agree with you. This has been my biggest issue with Mariah as of late. It is so frustrating but I mean it's her life as she can wear whatever she wants. I think however she has to accept then that most people are not going to take her seriously. There will probably be people out there who will think it's inappropriate for their kids to be a fan of Mariah Carey because of how she dresses and older fans who will had enough and think she has bad taste. It makes me sad because I think it's self destructive. I feel like she's been surrounded by wrong people for very long time and it is influencing her to go a certain direction. I mean she's doing smart moves now, like the shows, the videos, et cetera et cetera. It is how is she presenting it when it just falls flat. And frankly you can also see these videos were not very well produced and there are some mistakes in the production. Stuff like that bugs me endlessly.

Tour with Lionel Ritchie (70,213) by John from USA
Lionel Richie and Diana Ross sang the original (and arguably more successful) version of "Endless Love". The late Luther Vandross and Mariah would later remake the song in the 90s. Do you think we will see a Lionel and Mariah duet of EL on their tour? I wonder if Mariah can still sing this song live. Anyways, I've always loved this live rendition from Luther and Mariah.

Rihanna's Love on the Brain (70,212) by darrian liu from taiwan
It's such a good, soulful song. I think if Mariah lets loose on her vocals, she could do really well on an old school R&B/soul song like Rih's Love on the Brain.

Here Comes Santa Claus / The Keys of Christmas (70,211) by darrian liu from taiwan
I thought she did good and looked banging. I really don't mind her ultra sexy outfits because I realized that I have no say in what a woman should do to her body and what a woman should or shouldn't wear. I'd say let her do anything with her body, as long as it doesn't harm her in any way. About her wearing sexy outfits with her children, children don't sexualize body parts. They probably just thought of it as another piece of clothing. Basically I just wanna focus on her music, her performances, and her career moves instead of her clothing.

Sure, but Truth made it sound like her career was over post-Tommy. That's laughable. Her last #1 hit was roughly a full 20 years after her first single. How many artists in history can say that? Perspective, people.

Dystopian diva (70,208) by RibbonB from USA
I hope Mariah has reached rock bottom this year, but alas I fear it may get even worse next year. I am praying for "dem babies" and their dad Nick who is in the hospital again and praying for Mariah that she will step back into real reality, not E network dumbed down, dragged out, drunk and or drugged out diva reality.

Coming clean (70,207) by SM from Citizen of the World
I have been a anti social Mariah fan since I was like 6, when my grandmother was playing her tapes. I always felt insecure. I always felt out of place. I never fit in, everyone used to make fun of me, I have suffered from a alcohol disease and eating disorder but Mariah always made me feel alive. Mariah always helped me with my everyday struggle, she basically helped me to where I am today. I am trying to be happy right now but I just want everyone to know how much I am so grateful for Mariah and I am so thankful for her being my idol the past 26 years and if it wasn't for her and her music and yes her crazy eras I wouldn't be alive. I am so grateful she keeps me moving. I look up to her more than anyone and I absolutly love her. I don't know what else to say besides Merry Christmas to everyone and lets have a pow moment.
