Re: Ellen interview (68,619) (68,640) by TJ from Norway
I can't help it, but I feel that Ellen felt sorry for Mariah. Like, what have happened to you?

Re: Who is afraid of Virginia Wolfe? (68,634) (68,639) by Lila from United States
Lol, well damn you were the real OG that night. A round of applause to you. You were on point though. There's nothing wrong with bringing up a fan. I feel like the fans do a lot for little in return.

Re: Ellen appearance (68,635) (68,638) by Malcolm from Asia
She was more beautiful and natural in her 2014 appearance compared on this recent one. I can't with her face, it looks more worse. Her attitude on that show, I cringe, a lot of comments said she is the most boring guest ever and I can't disagree with that, she's such a kill joy. There would have been a round of "Who'd You Rather?" but Ellen just stopped it because Mariah says a lot of unnecessary stuff. Ellen was like "don't complicate the game" and the audience's reaction was like "is she even for real?", like just play the goddamn game Mariah. That interview doesn't have any substance already and yet she acts like that, what's even the point of going there? Watching Ellen, you will know easily if she is enjoying her guest, and clearly Mariah is not included there. Ellen looks irritated by her and just want to end that "nothing important, nothing enjoyable" interview. Sigh, not cool Mariah.

Re: Mariah was pretty open (68,636) (68,637) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
When you say "pretty open" you imply that she revealed at least some things. What question did she answer directly exactly? I mean I'm not even counting the Packer question because I don't need to know that, it's her life but apart from that what question was answered directly? I'd like to know.

Mariah was pretty open (68,636) by Edouard from France
On Ellen, Mariah was pretty open, considering recents events and the fact that she probably can't say too much for legal reasons, and won't say too much because she knows how to create buzz. I thought she looked good on Ellen, down to earth and pretty. Sexy, yes but she's wearing black from head to toe. Pretty conservative plus she knew the camera wouldn't show her cleavage. She knows what she's doing and for those who don't understand her there's a pretty clear message for you in this interview if you really pay attention.

Ellen appearance (68,635) by IfWeeeeee from Over There
For a wealthy person, she sure loves look like a cheap hooker. Also, she thinks her ramblings are cute - they're not, Mariah, they are not. Moreover, her face looks bloated again. She's gotten gross - not because she's put on weight, but her antics are.

Re: Who is afraid of Virginia Wolfe? (68,541) (68,634) by Alexis Morell Carrington Colby Dexter Rowan from USA
I was going to tell the story of my trip to Vegas to see Mariah for her 8/28 show, but I didn't have time. The show was not great, even thought I got to touch her. What really pissed me off was when Mario Lopez, who came in late and sat across the aisle from me and stayed in his phone the whole time and didn't sing along to anything, starting getting so much attention. I could smell his cologne from across this ailse, but must admit he is handsome. Anywho, while Mariah was singing "Heartbeatker" (I think), her dancers were scouting the crowd for the person to bring up for "Touch My Body". I just knew they were going for Mario. At this point, some people from the stage walk up to Mario to talk to him about how it will al go down. It looked like he was just there for that moment (he interviewed her a few days later). Some man walks up to talk to him (the man who produces he show?) and so does Stella. She came in late around "Love Takes Time" and was rather dramatic, looking around and walking in slow motion like she was filming an intro for the real housewives of Atlanta. I think her daughter and friends were sitting on the same row as Mario - I'm not sure. Anyway, she comes over to Mario and they talk. I yell out, "Why are y'all pulling up a celeb on stage instead of the real fans who support her? That's some bullsh*t." Other fans look at me in shock (one girl sincerely asked if I was ok). The man looked at me; I think Stella did too. I yelled out again, "Keep it cute, Stella because the lambs already don't see it for you and my dollars pay for everything in here." I was salty af and rolled my eyes all of "Touch My Body" until the end. I wanted to hear the live belts at the end. So... yea.

Re: Mariah's popularity will never recover (68,609) (68,633) by Marissa from USA
To us as fans of course she's been a legend from practically the first album, but to society at large no one is going to consider a 31 year old (2001 was the year they "counted her out" and characterized her as a has been) a legend. Beyonce has been in the business for 18 years and there are still plenty of lambs that would never fix their mouths to call her a legend because they still see her as so young, so I'm not going to give a double standard. Being relatively young and legendary is something a lot of people will not even entertain regardless of how many Billboard stats and album sales someone has, which is why to this day people are quicker to paint MC as a has-been than a legend. So yes, I stand by the fact that the general public (not the lambs) did not view her as a legend until after TEOM or they wouldn't have dragged her like she was totally irrelevant the minute she slipped up with the Glitter era. People who are seen as legends are given the benefit of the doubt when their sales inevitably start waning. Instead, she was treated like she had accomplished nothing in the industry all because she achieved a "mere" 2.5 million in sales for Glitter rather than her usual 10+ million.

Access Hollywood (68,632) by Lila from United States
I did like the Access Hollywood interview. Mariah was calm and not as defensive. She was straightforward and didn't ramble. I don't know why she couldn't do that on Ellen.

Re: Ellen interview (68,620) (68,631) by Lila from United States
What Mimi L. said lol. I'll add, though, that the multiple emojis on the second bathtub pic gives Mishka away. She does the same on her personal IG. She and the mother are into overly hash tagging and emoji-ing pictures but Mischka isn't as bad as Stella and she's been toning it down but if you go back through the pics on M's IG, you can see evidence of it. Kristofer hardly uses emojis and when he does, it's usually one. This circus is a mess. Mariah girl you are not twelve. This girl cannot be your best friend. Let it go.

Helping Haiti charity cd (68,629) by Licia from USA
I was playing the music trivia game song pop and a song on the best of Mariah playlist came up that I had no idea she remade for charity. Apparently she sang Everybody Hurts (I forget the original artist). Am I the only person who didn't know this existed? Even though this came out in 2012 [2010] I'm uber excited to try and find the full song so I can hear her take on it. 1. I love this song. 2. Right about now I'll take anything that I've never heard by her because I'm desperate for new music. I just looked up the song. She didn't sing the song by herself, but she sounded great on the small part she had. Let me continue with my no new Mariah music drought. Lol. Anyway all of the artists involved sounded great.

Re: Will Mariah's popularity recover or are Lambs just old? (68,613) (68,628) by Ty from USA
Sheila the Mariah I've met over the years and this train wreck of drama I'm seeing since she married nick are two different worlds. And I think the lambs are overly mean on this board. Just f'd up. Nothing she could do can please them. Takes 30 seconds to read comments and it blows.

Re: Ellen interview (68,624) (68,627) by RibbonB from USA
Now she is throwing Packer shade in interviews. Lol when the E person said that fans were wondering if he will still be on the reality show, M. replied, "Oh he has fans?" Messy. The lady then said, well they were tweeting about it and M. replies "Oh I didn't know that."

Re: Ellen interview (68,620) (68,624) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
Mariah said the person who took the picture is "related to her manager". She said she won't mention the name. If it was anyone else like Stella herself or Liana, she would have mentioned their name or designation. However since Mishka is a 13 year old. Mariah probably had the sense to not mention that she had a 13 year old in the bathroom.

Re: Ellen interview (68,619) (68,623) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
Lol Ellen was having none of that unnecessary Aspen hot tub story. She just went ahead and closed the segment. As it should be, I don't get why Mariah always has to ramble on about unrelated stuff. Ellen just asked for a picture, just say yes and move along.

MC on Ellen (68,621) by Mirage_Nunez from America
I enjoyed her on Ellen. Even though I do wish she would show less clevage, she look refreshed, healthy, (dare I say) happy, more upbeat and in a better place. I think she handled everything well. I love that she uses humor and charm to avoid tough personal questions. That's actually a nicer (less awkward) way of handling it when you think about it, instead of giving a stone cold answer. Ellen briefly mentioned Mariah's World, but I wish she would've focused more on the upcoming Christmas special and mentioned the makeup line. Bringing up the bathtub pics was kinda unnecessary/old news and could've been left out. Anyway I'm glad she's unbothered by all the negativity that surrounds her name these days. That's the best way to be. Taking on the stress of the world will kill you. Sometimes you just have to pray and keep moving.

Re: Ellen interview (68,617) (68,620) by RibbonB from USA
Well have we actually confirmed that the girl takes all these photos of Mariah? When Mariah and Nick took those nude pregnant pictures, Krisopher Buckle the make up dude took the pics. It is possible that he is taking a lot of the pics from this era too. But point still stands and is valid that she does not need to be buddies with a teenager.

Ellen interview (68,619) by Lila from United States
This is basically a running commentary. I'm writing as I watch. Put your titties away. Why wouldn't you assume there is a time difference between countries? I like that Ellen is asking good questions. Just give a straightforward I can't answer that right now as I don't know and keep the decorations compliment to yourself. Just play the game M. No one's asking you to actually kiss them. She is so frustrating sometimes. No Ellen. We're trying to get her away from the bodysuits. Didn't need the Aspen comment. This interview overall was pointless. We learned nothing about Mariah's World or any of her other endeavors. Which reminds me, I was just thinking earlier this morning, when I saw the preview of the Access Hollywood interview on IG, that there's probably no point in watching the full interview as the preview more than likely sums up the entire interview lol. We just never get much, if anything, out of these interviews.

Re: Ellen interview (68,605) (68,618) by Bill from the UK
Who takes a bath in a body suit, full make up, and diamonds? Don't make out like it was a randomly captured off guard festive moment when it was as staged as any Broadway musical.

Re: Ellen interview (68,616) (68,617) by Lila from United States
Yup. I'm talking about the bubble bath ones. I sincerely hope that there are no more moments like that to speak of, on or off social media, though. Like Mimi L., I also don't believe that there was any body suit to speak of, on Mariah's body, so regardless of the bubbles, Mariah was nude, in a bathtub, with a child taking pictures of her. That's off. I think I've also stated before that I find it off that this child is constantly hanging out with this group of grown adults. Nothing good comes of children who grow up too fast. Nothing good comes of situations where you put yourself in a position to be vulnerable like letting children hang out with you in adult situations and take pics of you in the nude. I've seen the normalization too and it pisses me off.

Re: Ellen interview (68,615) (68,616) by RibbonB from USA
Wait, what pics? I hope you just mean those bubble bath pics from a few months ago. But yeah M. is making so many missteps with this family its rather sad and many want to normalize it. There is so much room for disaster. I wish M. and her kids the best though.

Re: Ellen interview (68,605) (68,615) by Lila from United States
I saw the video clip too and I just can't with her. Just say you were being stupid instead of lying. Also, this Mishka girl needs to go. It still blows my mind that she's supposedly friends with a little girl. A child is taking nude pics of her. Wow. Here I thought we had all learned from Michael Jackson that there is no such thing as grown adults being friends with children. Silly me.

Mariah and "Kuschelrock" (68,614) by MusicfanJ from Germany
On a German TV-special Mariah is on the countdown for 30 years of Kuschelrock (a famous compilation with romantic songs). Again they said how Mariah dominated the 90ies with her voice and only Whitney came close to her. So true and I'm still in love with "When you believe". Perfect soundtrack song. The music of the 90ies especially the ballads were amazing. Sorry I have a "retro-phase" at the moment.

Re: Will Mariah's popularity recover or are Lambs just old? (68,604) (68,613) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
Don't bother. If they think going down the Kardashian route is best for Mariah, let them live in that bubble. But to later complain that Mariah doesn't get the respect she deserves as an artist is not going to work anymore. If they want Mariah to go down the Kardashian publicity stunt mode, they should accept that Mariah will be treated the way the Kardashians are. Also I'd like to know in what sense Mariah's instagram is "popping". Clearly I've been looking at some other profile then you because all I see are low quality, blurry messy and sometimes soft porn posts. At least take from the Kardashians here and make better posts. Lastly I really find it interesting how some people indirectly try to defend Stella and Mishka here more than Mariah herself. Stella, Mishka, Liana, are you guys lurking the board darlings?
