Nick vs Mariah (the diss songs edition) (60,757) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City)
I have a chance to both diss records in the Nick vs Mariah saga and it's clear Mariah has beat Nick in my opinion on his latest masterpiece and I mean that term very loosely. The verses are weak and seems rushed. It comes off as someone still practicing and learning their craft. Honestly bless his heart, Nick needs to give up the rapping and stick to hosting. Now onto Mariah. While Infinity may not be a Carey standard for the history books but when I compare both songs she is clearly the better rapper without trying to rap and has the better diss record so in this case here Carey vs Cannon who has the better diss track the verdict is in and the edge here goes to Carey hands down.

Name calling and semi bullying (60,756) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
Travon dahlin', don't let these get to you. When a person resorts to name calling to prove a point, you know they have lost half the argument by default. I don't understand why people are even allowed name calling on this board? If you have an opinion that differs from others on the board, state so without getting so freaking worked up all the time. Also this whole semi-bullying Mariah into doing a show is just nasty. People like this are making it more about Mariah than about safety in general. Mariah may very likely go ahead and do the show, and that's great, but I want to know, how many people who lost their loved ones (or are shook up by this incident) will just snap out of their misery and go to attend a concert just a few days after such a tragedy. Yes we can't live in fear, but isn't it also a concern that Brussels have just suffered a huge shock and it will take a few days for them to sort it all out and then right in the middle if this, there will be a gathering of 10000 people at the concert of a high profile singer and it makes the venue slightly risky? Would the attendees really be willing to take that risk (let's not even consider Mariah at this point). Also I love how the person talks about being super proud if Mariah goes ahead and performs, ya right, you'll still be there talking about how she lip synced and sang off key. Anyways so this is a line I saw on a UKMix Mariah thread and it cracked me up, I wish for the same: "I've often wondered if there's ever been a perfect general thread, without the name calling and threats to others wishing they were dead." Anyways, if Mariah goes ahead and performs, good for her, she will be considered more courageous than a lot of people and I hope her songs can bring strength to the nation, but if she chooses to cancel, let's not just drag her through mud and bully her like she failed her responsibility. A lot of things will play an important role here and Mariah is not the only one who has a say over this. Brussels will have to allow her to go through with the concert, she'll have to take it up with the embassy, and all that. So just calm down everyone.

Re: Insanity and stupidity (60,749) (60,755) by MC1989 from Spain
Couldn't agree more. I hope she doesn't cancel. That's what these terrorists want, they want us to live with fear. What saddens me the most is that these attacks are feeding and intensifying the EU's xenophobic measures against refugees, who by the way are escaping from the same horror spread by Daesh. Thousands of innocent refugees are starving and the EU has just decided to deport them, I'm ashamed to be part of the European Union. Just imagine for a second you and your family are trying to escape from war and terrorism attacks by radical Islamists and after risking your life in the sea or trying to escape they close the borders to you and send you back. Horror. Anyway, I just think we need to help them, we need to make a change and now more than ever say no to war, no to fear. Mariah is a professional and I hope she carries on and belts out Hero for all of us. The show must go on.

Article: Review: Mariah in Cardiff (60,753) by Dennis from Underneath the Stars
"We need to discuss the DJ. Opening with JLo's 'Love Don't Cost A Thing'? Really? We can only presume he's no longer part of the entourage." This is hilarious. Can anyone confirm that? I can't wait for the Cardiff concert comments.

Concert reviews (60,752) by Chicago Lamb from USA
Concert reviews have been really quite stellar. Mariah really deserves a round of applause from us, the MCA readers that have been reading the reviews for years. Her voice will be in great shape when all this touring comes to rest. Let's hope she hits the studio. The "Vegas warm up" has worked.

I love it when you call me an idiot and a moron. It really proves my point of heartless people in the world. Also, I have European and UK friends in Europe. They respect me enough to not assume the worst in people and depict details. I wasn't referring to all Europeans. I stated that in my post. I will apologize and kiss your ass if you want me to. That seems to be the only way you understand things. However, I am not going to sit here and let you call me an idiot when I was pouring love out to Brussels and Europe today. It is heartless and an inconvenience when terrorist attack and kill people. They are heartless because they kill for their own selfish desires and they don't care for anyone but themselves. They are causing an inconvenience because the normal way of things become disrupted and changed due to their actions. So please don't you dare come for me and try to give me a lecture. I don't make excuses to better my argument or lash out because I act like I didn't passed the 9th grade. Child sit down and stop trolling.

Re: Another rant (60,744) (60,750) by Lee TS from USA
I agree with everything Marissa had to say about Stella's girls. I feel horrible for judging but I like the little one too, she looks adorable and sweet versus the older girl. In my mind, the younger one probably stays behind a lot and plays with Demkids. Perfect. But with the older girl Mishka, she's living life in the fast lane and is no bueno. With the Drew Barrymore comparison, I almost half expected Mishka to be living it up next to Mariah in the club in Vegas at the wrap party. The thing is, this is a false reality for Mishka and could really mess her up when Mariah decides to fire Stella. Mariah goes through managers like she does nannies. But whatever, it's Stella's job to raise her kids. Anyways, Stella is allowed one era so she has a lot to prove. I'm at a point if you can't beat them, join 'em. So let's hope Stella is doing everything she can for Mariah to keep her job. And the docu-series was initially called Mariah's Squad, I mean, who did you expect to be in her crew when Mariah's eternally 12? Oops.

Insanity and stupidity (60,749) by Andrew from UK
Cancelling a show because of a bunch of loser Islamist nutjobs? Let's cancel Easter at the same time. Better yet, let's cancel music. And wipe the internet. Nonsense. Whatever happened to "keep calm and carry on"? If you don't, the galactically insane win. [censored] them. And the ignorant idiot (who I recall being quite rude about Europeans) who thinks that Paris is "across water" from Brussels was clearly not taught how to read a map in school. Terrorist attacks are an "inconvenience"? What a galactically stupid thing to say. I implore, nay I would be so proud, for Mariah to get on stage on Sunday and sing "Hero" to all those who yearn for strength to ride out this nonsense. The Belgian police can heavily guard the bloody thing if necessary. Don't let them win, Mariah.

Sweet Sweet Fantasy Tour / Brussels (60,748) by Anthony Carey from U.K
First of all, want to send my thoughts and prayers for all the lambs and everybody in Brussels at this time - as our Mariah once sang "There's Got To Be A Way". I am a little worried about the Sweet Sweet Fantasy Tour stopping over there March 27th and I would like to think Mariah and her team postphone (at time of writing I have read she is awaiting government advice) the show until further notice plus in respect for those that have been touched by this tragedy. Anyway, just a note for those who may be interested, I posted a direct message to big Jim Wright on twitter asking if we are getting a tour programme for the tour and he replied confirming that it is "coming soon". So let's wait and see what beautiful pictures this will be packed with.

No one's checking for Stella's kids, nor does anyone outside the lambily care whom Stella or her kids are (aside from the negative press that Stella is gathering for herself). The public's eyes will always be on Mariah in every photo, not the desperate fame-hungry manager trying to get her kids in on Mariah's fame. They're not even name checked by any of the tabloids, only referred to as "children". Even Roc n' Roe have more star power than Stella and her kids combined. No one cares about them lol. And if Stella somehow does make the reality show about her, people still won't care, and probably will in fact question why she's so important on the show, compared to the one true star that everyone is interested in.

Not so Stella(r) (60,746) by Musti from UK
I am getting highly irritated by Stella and her family. It's hard to believe that Mariah is not aware of their hunger for fame and for exposure. Stella's make-up moments, her audacity to have her name mentioned at every turn and her entire family constantly getting a share of Mariah's spotlight - blasphemy (exclamation). Someone needs to call up Mariah pronto. Otherwise I'm gonna have to start a petition or something. Get rid of them Mariah please. There are many qualified professionals out there who would kill for an opportunity to manage you and who would actually do what they are supposed to do. I am not against the docu-series. I think it could bring Mariah to a much wider audience and possibly make her a household name like she was in the 90s. But only if done correctly. I am completely sick (in capitals) of seeing the Bulochnikovs in Mariah photos and I swear to God I am so tempted to hunt them down and ship them off to the bottom of the ocean. This whole thing just stinks. If they mess up the docu-series, try to steal Mariah's spotlight or ruin her reputation in any way, they better disappear from the face of the earth, or else.

Stella and her kids (60,745) by Amber C from USA
THe woman is strange. If your first instinct tells you she's strange then go with it. She works for MTV, she wears that strange third eye jewelry. Yes I'm judging lol. I wish Mariah would fire her. Period. End of.

Re: Another rant (60,735) (60,744) by Marissa from USA
I really don't want to hate on a child but I think the older one gets on my nerves because by the looks of the pictures I see of her, she acts way too grown. I think I saw a picture Stella posted not too long ago where she called her a tween, so the girl is literally 12 dressed and living the life of an 18 year old. The Drew Barrymore life in the fast lane at a young age vibe that I'm getting from her is not good. I hate when parents don't let a kid be a kid. As much as I instinctively want to judge the girl, she is only 12 and has another 13 years until her brain is fully developed, so any stunts or bullshit I'm going to have to blame on Stella. I actually think the little one is adorable. She seems to look and act like the child that she is. One thing that I like about Mariah's parenting is that she keeps her kids in a child's place. Despite what people might have expected from a diva like Mariah Carey, her kids aren't dressed tuxedos and mini stilettos but they look like how any child would look. Since Mariah felt like she was exposed to too much as a child and clearly wouldn't want the same for her kids, I wonder how she reconciles having Stella cussing around her kids and her daughter acting way too grown.

Stella (60,742) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City)
Good day/evening MCA family. I've been taking a little time to observe before I decided to comment. When it comes to Stella she has done wonders for Mariah as far as rebuilding her public perception and image. But if her main goal and objective is to make her and her family famous off of the back of Mariah I think she needs to be replaced as soon as possible. If a new manager needs to step in I need it to be someone who knows the business and has studied the Mariah brand and is willing to create meaningful opportunities as well as keep MC focused on creating meaningful and worthy projects that would make sense to her brand musically and otherwise. If a manager needs to replaced I think Mariah should hire Jeff Robinson of MBK entertainment, he was Alicia Keys first manager they worked together during her first three album where she garnered her most successful years. Troy Carter is another name that comes to mind, he was very instrumental with Lady Gaga early on Eve and other great artists. But honestly I just need for MC to create a team that can focus on rebuilding brand Mariah from top to bottom and someone who is not thirsty for the limelight themselves.

Mariah warned not to perform in Brussels (60,741) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
TMZ posted this and I kind of agree with her security team if the story is true. Mariah is an international icon and is recognized worldwide. It would make her an easy target. I know some lambs want her to carry on and dedicate the show to the victims but she can reschedule it and instead dedicate a segment of her 02 show for the victims. It will not only be risky for Mariah but also the concert goers. Because such a big gathering might be a prime target. It might also be respectful to let the people take time and mourn their loss during such a tragedy. She can maybe reschedule it and do the show a few weeks later. I hope all goes well though, we'll just have to wait and see if she gets clearance from the US embassy and the officials in Brussels. I also hope the situation in Brussels go back to normal as soon as possible. I hope people don't take this post negatively, I am just concerned about the attendees as well as Mariah.

Wolves in sheep's clothing (60,737) by Giovanni from USA
Those two geeks on Wendy aren't lambs. I like Wendy because I find her entertaining. But I also find it unnecessary to cover every detail or related story about Mariah. I honestly do think Wendy is either jealous or obsessed with Mariah. Possibly both. She desperately wants her on the show lol.

I told you (60,736) by Giovanni from USA
I new there was something fishy about Stella. Which is why I've never liked her. She seems very hungry for fame and it's showing more and more. So sad that this is the person who is managing Mariah. She can obviously do better. I feel this whole show is going to be a hot mess. You'll see just how thirsty Stella is for the limelight if we see her for the whole entire episode. On a side note, glad Mariah got rid of her stylist.

Another rant (60,735) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
I don't know if you have noticed but did you see how in every picture of Mariah, Stella's older daughter is right there next to Mariah? Even when Stella can't be seen (but obviously she must be there since she's the manager). I could post many examples, but I don't want to trouble Eric with so many links. Anyways so wherever Mariah is, the daughter is always right next to her and I have a feeling *conspiracy theory alert* that it's so that when camera's catch Mariah, the daughter is also photographed and gets exposure. Why else would she always be there? I mean even DemBabies are not seen that much and I get it that she must be going with Mariah to the venues but hey she can always leave before or after Mariah has made her appearance to the paps. Even in random shots of Mariah walking down the street, the kid is right next to her whereas the other members of her entourage aren't always visible including Stella. In fact I have seen very few candid photos of Stella walking out with Mariah, but the kid is always there. The one that pissed me off the most was when right after Mariah and James got engaged and they were coming out of the hotel, the paps went crazy and only Mariah and James were walking to their SUV (her entourage stayed back) but the older daughter just ran to Mariah and walked to the car but later had to return.

Re: Reality show (60,731) (60,734) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
Honestly I am still not a fan of the idea of a reality show, but since it will happen I have come to accept it. But I wish, I really wish Mariah knows exactly what she has gotten into and use this as a platform to re-introduce people (especially new audiences) to her artistry and this time show them the "real her". Because she says the whole diva thing is a play "just for laughs". Since the uber diva-ness puts people off, I hope she tones it down a little. Use it to promote your music, your songs, your talent not drama. As for Stella, I don't know if with all the backlash she has toned down her appearance but the show was definitely going to be used as a platform for her to be the new Kris Jenner and for her kids to be the new Kendall and Kylie because why else would she name it "Mariah's Squad". After the backlash from the fans they quickly changed it to "Mariah's World" but it remains to be seen how much attention the Bulochnikovs try to grab from it, especially since Stella already had a failed attempt at a reality show. So she is using Mariah's star power. I hope it stays about Mariah and doesn't become "Keeping Up with the Bulochnikovs". Stepping on Mariah's coattails Stella has already gotten herself featured on tabloids, the Wendy Show and Mariah's interviews. I have never seen her previous managers being talked about before in interviews.
