Hopefully she will get a spin-off and spin right out of MW. Ding, ding. Maybe they will have a slap fight on the show, with blush spread everywhere. *spoiler alert* That isn't my real thought for a good outcome, but now that I mention slap fight, that would be perfect for a ratchet reality show on E network. You gotta have fights and drink throwing. Now that would be a way to finish Stellar off.

I know, I am not a big fan of theirs either, but I have heard people calling it a masterpiece. I have yet to listen to it, but I will just to form my own opinion. The last rap record I loved was Outkast's "The Love Below" and some of Speakerboxx.

It will be. KUWTK garners around two million viewers and Mariah's recent specials have garnered between three and four million viewers. I hope and pray the show isn't a train wreck and that Packer and the wedding planning are no longer included since their [sic] no longer together.

Kelly Clarkson joining the lineup would be incredible, I'd love to see her and Mariah duet together and I've always thought that "Underneath The Tree" is a modern day AIWFCIY. It's a criminally underrated song.

Are you kidding? MCIIY is an amazing album, I think I may even prefer it to her first Christmas album. And I have it on Spotify. Maybe it's just in the US?

Glitter was ahead of its time. Paying homage to the 80's is now en vogue. I'm loving "Versace on the Floor" by Bruno. I really hope Mariah works with him.

The most awkward photo ever (68,359)
by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
| |
|

So this photo is floating around Twitter and it's from her Mexican meet and greet. Mariah, girl, I just can't. Also why another photo was not taken and this was released is beyond me. All that lighting and posing demands and yet her team allows these to be public. I don't know why Mariah wears these ugly wigs when her natural hair is perfect. Plus even if you wear them, get good ones girl. Since you are going down the Kardashian route, might as well get flawless hair and makeup advice from them. Also Beyonce has great wigs/weaves. Plus her need for awkward poses when she looks so much more beautiful in her candids. We all know Mariah doesn't really look like that but her harsh makeup and ugly wigs are just a no no.

I'm not a huge fan of their's, but I'm really happy for them. I keep hearing how great the album is. They lost a member and like you said they haven't released new music in 20 years yet they still managed to put out a great product.

I could have done without Busta yelling through out the song, but in my opinion Fabulous' rap in the beginning fit in nicely.

It's absolutely amazing. This is my second favorite album. It was crazy how the songs that were not remakes fit in so well with the theme of the album. Maybe if people would not have focused so much on the movie tanking, they may have given the album a chance. It has great vocals with very well written songs.

I love this album too because of these reasons: 1. The way Mariah sings the ballads is just phenomenal. 2. The up-tempo songs are so much fun, even with the rappers. 3. I love the early 80ies/disco influenced songs. "All my life" is so good, the beginning, the chorus, the groove of it and of course her voice is a dream. I still think this album was ahead of its time.

Last Night a DJ Saved My Life (68,350)
by darrian liu from taiwan

And this song though, if only Mariah cut back some of the unnecessary verses, it could've been a real hit. The bassline is pretty mean and the melody is catchy. It's just that those rappers' exclamations and yells sound grating. If she kept the rap verses shorter and sweet, this song has a big hit potential.

I've been obsessed with this album for the past 2 months. Before I hadn't really listened to the entire album but I decided to give it a try and literally it's the only thing I've been playing. All My Life is one of those songs that could've been big but just didn't blow up. Ugh this album is amazing.

Congrats to them, projected to have their first number one cd release in 20 years with around 120,000 equivalent sales. I'm sure their SNL performance helped a bit, plus good music. Putting in the work and quality music does get rewarded. Mariah can do it without gimmicks. Relevancy is a state of mind not a set of staged tabloid click-bait moments.

So if Mariah, Patti and Chaka will be there, then why is Teyana Taylor joined this ranks of artists? Teyana doesn't have any hits, even a Billboard Hot 100 song. It's not that it's a bad thing but it's just odd that she is joining this line-up. It will not makes sense if there is no artist that will join VH1 Divas that is same league as her. But anyway I'm happy with Patti and Chaka, hope Kelly Clarkson joins too.

"Pimp herself out for cheap and fleeting attention and money." I'm saying. Someone correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't this just supposed to be an 8-episodes long, one-off docuseries? Why the hell do we need, even the illusion of, a "romance" between her and her back up dancer, or any other, serious, personal life drama, for that? I doubt ratings would be bad with Mariah acting her regular diva self but if they are, who cares? She will still be rich and she will still be an amazing artist with or without it. This is not a make or break situation.

I hate that word too. A lot. And the thought behind it. Like that trumps people's actual opinions. I actually think I've seen one of her videos. But it could've easily have been someone else's.

Either Mariah genuinely enjoys her company as a manager/friend or Stella has so much dirt on Mariah that she's afraid to let go. Just a thought.
