Christmas season / appearance (68,055) by Mara from United States I am curious after the Mexico dates to see how Mariah perceives or portrays herself during the Christmas season, especially the Beacon shows. It always seems like MC tries to be more classy or timeless with her dresses and hair during the holiday season. Of course that was before she was photographed daily at paparazzi known hangouts. I honestly don't know what Mariah has against dressing classy. It seems she has a highly morphed idea that classy means prudish or non sexy. It is so not true. I wish she would get it in her head that less is more. I hate that she goes around town (I'm sorry but looking cheap) isn't she sick of her damn boobs yet? I am tired of looking at them. But a reminder of why M. should be very aware of who she allows to be around her children. To tune in or not (68,048) by Marissa from USA I'm strongly leaning on the side of not tuning into Mariah's World. On one hand, I like to watch Mariah's interviews, specials, etc. On the other hand, tuning in would only reinforce and reward all of the lowbrow stunts that she has done in an effort to get viewers. We can't complain about all of the antics that she has done/allowed to happen (thottish Insta posts, daily Tanaka sightings, prenup exposures, inconvenience fee demands etc.), yet give her the exact reward that she is seeking by tuning in every week. If you do so, don't get surprised if she doesn't change. People only stop doing things when the costs outweigh the benefits. If your reaction to behavior that you claim is unacceptable is to continue to indirectly pay a multimillionaire's bills, ultimately the jokes on you because you give that person no incentive to change. If you are fine with the latest publicity stunts, then by all means tune in. If you are truly fed up with the antics, just know that tuning in encourages her to give more of the behavior that you allegedly can't stand. The more views that she gets, the more she will feel like all of the soul-selling and integrity-trading was worth it. My goal is not to take money out of her pockets, but to send a message. The lambs have a lot of power as viewers and consumers but many of us are so busy letting other people make us feel like we have a moral obligation to support everything she does like it or not, that we end up wasting our voice and only reinforcing the things that supposedly make us miserable. Some people think that being a fan means supporting everything the artist does even if it could end up being detrimental. Let me put my mentality this way: if I know that someone I love wants to commit suicide, I'm not going to load the gun with bullets for them. I'm going to snatch the gun away. Period. One she's being petty and just trying to mess with James or two they are still together, she's still marrying him, and she's just playing with us and the media. I personally think she's just being childish and petty. If this relationship ended as badly as claimed I don't see the point in keeping or wearing the ring other than you're trying to mess with him. If you're right then Mariah is the best actress in the world and she should get an Oscar for it. It's not possible to play a role for let's say from 1990 until 2003. After that Mariah changed a bit because of whatever. But we all do from time to time. The good dressing from the past was maybe because of her team. But her lovely smile, her talking, her caring and the moments where she was insecure were real. Musically I don't know what to expect. There are so many superstars who feel lonely inside. Maybe this is one reason why she loves Marylin Monroe so much. If I look at Mariah lately I see a lot of sadness and desperation which she tries to hide by this freaking circus. I didn't think the reason but you could be onto something that it is to build up a momentum for the show. I remember when at first Mariah was like "it's a docu-series, it's about the tours" but when asked more recently she adds "there's a lot of drama and stuff". Perhaps she did decide to go for the reality style cheap drama thing. I recall part of it was about the wedding... what if it is like someone mentioned and she does marry Packer. Haha, plot twist, over gasping. The last pictures show her with the so-talked ring back in the wedding finger. Teasing? Playing? Taking the media for fools? M. was specifically asked about him on WHL with Andy and she played coy and said which dancer? They are all tall, or something like that. So her team has been setting the tone about him for months now, without mentioning his name even when asked. He is even mentioned in the Complex article, not by name yet, but as mystery half dressed male dancer hops into the vehicle with Mariah. But now all of a sudden when the news breaks he is seen out to multiple dinners with her and even trick or treating. Please, dahling, this is set up for the show to develop maximum ratings, or she has been bold faced cheating all year and wants to hurt James. Either way her behavior for that mess alone might warn a man thinking about marriage. Let's see how they act in Hawaii over the holidays just in time for the premier. This is just what I remember, there may have been more, like the fact that Eddie Morales mentions him by name congratulating him on his new comeup. This all looks pre-planned and M./Stella doesn't care how she really looks, she just wants people to accept their narrative. Also I forgot to add, Mariah has never been just out with James.
