Mariah Carey (66,308) by Terna from Nigeria I've been pondering sharing this with you guys. But I said what the heck you're family, and the common denominator is our unrelenting love for Mariah. Hope I don't come across as weird. In 2009 I had a strange vision sometime in October about her. I would say it was a vision because if you've ever had one of those happen to you, you're not asleep, totally aware of your surroundings and it's like suddenly the room dims up and it's like a film projector styled plays while you watch. In the vision there was a boy and girl with Mariah, they were at an award show on stage and on closer observation it was the Grammies. And right there on the presentation podium were Grammies with Mariah's name on them. It seemed weird because in real life she lost all those Grammies but in the vision it was a controversy that had been exposed that the recording academy on purpose gave all her Grammy wins away and that she had won every single time. It was all over the news, so this was the apology officially to Mariah Carey presenting her with all the trophies, over 20 Grammies. But Mariah simply signaled to the girl who in turn picked up the tray of Grammies and seemingly emptied them into a shredding machine and they were shredded like paper. Then Mariah with a very booming voice to the audience who were in total shock and speechless then slammed down a golden statue speaking just a few words "Presenting The Mariah Carey award". She then turned around and gracefully walked away hand in hand with the boy and girl in tow. And the I looked at the statue. It was a golden statue of The Emancipation Of Mimi album cover. Mariah had just basically changed the Grammies to the Mariah Careys. I was puzzled. Still am. (Thursday 15 September 2016; 5:33)

Marissa (66,303) by Giovanni from USA I completely agree but why keep ranting? It seems like you're really frustrated and bothered by Mariah's decisions and actions. I'm not. Although I love Mariah as a singer and as an artist, she doesn't affect my life in any way by how she chooses to live hers. As much as she's disappointed me with her last single and over the top sexiness, I've learned that no matter how much ranting we do or advice we give her she's going to do as she pleases. Morgan's Facebook (66,298) by Martyn from England, UK I sometimes check Morgan's Facebook as it's public, and he's posted a status about the drama, to which many of his friends have left supportive comments - one even referencing Mariah from when they were younger. It's so difficult to know what to believe, I definitely think there's two sides to every story. What I do know is that him going to the media (again) was a strange and unfair move, and even if Mariah has wronged him in any way, he could've dealt with it differently. We've always loved Mariah for her voice, music, and the story behind the music. We connected to these many songs she sung because they felt real to us, not just because they were nice songs put together giving people hope. "Make It Happen", "Anytime You Need a Friend", "Hero", "Looking In", "Buttefly", "Close My Eyes", "Outside" and the list goes on. All written and sung beautifully but also her life put into beautiful poetry. Mariah felt real, and we could feel the pain of the lady behind the music while she sung to us mere mortals her life story. And we felt that through her we also had a voice, and her songs helped us through tough stuff. Now, as Marissa very well stated, we're in a state of confusion, not because we hate her, but because we don't know this person she's become anymore. I all for woman empowerment, I'll for women expressing their sexiness, Mariah has done that gracefully so many times before. Mariah would get a concert dubbed even when her vocals were great, but now she allows a blurry and weird picture of her to be posted on her Instagram, and that I don't understand. This is disgusting. Morgan really needs to get his own head checked at this point. To talk bad about his own sister is horrible, but to include Mariah's children in this drama is disgusting, malicious and shows his character. Now he is also involving his mother in this drama. Jeez. And how can Patricia involve Alison in devil worship rituals? Wasn't Alison with her dad almost all the time since the divorce? Morgan's stories are getting crazier and crazier by the day. The current state of Mariah (66,293) by Ardis Logic from Earth I remember being a young tween, hearing Mariah sing "Vision of Love" as I rode home on the school bus in 1990, and being in awe. A few years later she changed pop music forever, with her hit "Fantasy". It was revolutionary, and since then, so many artist have tried to capture the magic in that song. Then came the greatness of "Honey". Fans were thrilled by the sexyness, and boldness of that song and video. MC has always had those moments where she "wows" us. She has always been sexy, and she has always worn quite revealing ensembles. The only difference is, now she is older. Would we really be so shocked and bothered by her social media posts, if she was still in her 20's? She looks beautiful in her latest insta pics. Are we being ageist against her? I don't know. All I know is, that I always want her to be healthy and happy. She is such a beautiful person inside and out. Whatever she is going through right now, she just needs to be loved and understood. I am not so sure is really getting that. From the outside it looks like she has it all. Billionaire fiance, a multi million dollar rock on her finger, and a luxury life style, that most people could only dream about, but when I look into her eyes I see sadness. She looks lost, and that truly has me worried about her and her precious babies. Life as a mega celebrity can be very hard, in ways that many of us will never understand. I'm rambling. She said she'd never do a reality show, yet "Mariah's World" is in the works. She hated if anyone ever insinuated that she had any work done, yet her face has obviously been altered for the worse by either plastic surgery or botox. Finding any footage of MC cursing used to be like finding a needle in a haystack, yet one of her new hobbies is cursing out TMZ reporters "just for laughs". She said she'd never judge on American Idol, but after the "nice monetary moment" that they offered her, there she was. She used to say that she didn't do gimmicks and used to throw shade at the people who did, yet she's on a campaign to win over sexual deviants with poorly edited, skanky photos. And don't jazz it up to be an "evolution" or "metamorphosis" when it really is someone just living out of alignment with their integrity. As a fan, you don't know what to do with yourself. Do you declare it a phase and wait it out? Was the classy MC actually the fake image all along and this is who she's always been but finally got the courage to be reveal it? It's very confusing. I overlooked diva rumors about MC and became a lamb because from my own assessment she was smart, principled, eloquent, grounded and had substance. From the image I see now I wouldn't be able to stand by those qualities with equal certainty today. People forget that Mariah solidified us all as fans because of not only music, but a personal brand that she sold us on, and when every aspect of that is getting uprooted you expect people not to react? That's like your favorite Italian restaurant of 26 years randomly changing 98% of their menu to Mexican food, keeping their same name, expecting the usual customers to abandon their original desire for lasagna and shut up and order some beans and rice. What the f***? We don't even know or understand the person we are a fan of anymore but people just expect us to sit back and chill? I went to the two last shows and spoke with a Caesars employee who escorted her to her suite Saturday night. AIG will have her return; however, not happy that she is constantly late. Mariah also stated during the last show that this is my last show here for 'awhile'." I don't know how I feel about it but I think it's more convenient for Mariah since it saves her the time and energy of traveling around for tours. Especially now that she has kids and this is a steady pay so I understand her choice. I however hope when she renews the contract, she negotiates it in a way so that she can change the set list instead of restricting herself to #1's, some of which even she doesn't like singing haha. She can instead choose other songs and mix them up. I also hope we get her new album next year and she goes on a promo tour including international shows. I think the Chatty Man show was one of her last international TV appearance? Please refresh my memory if I'm wrong. She has a strong fan base in Europe, which is evident by her shows selling so well, plus let's not even talk about the Asian market, some of her biggest fans are in Asia. The reason I like you is because you are one of those positive lambs who is always hopeful and optimistic about Mariah and whenever you feel like she made a mistake you either address it nicely or you choose to just keep quiet and come back with some positive posts. I have yet to see you ever be hostile with someone you don't agree with on this board. I also don't see you passing your opinion as facts or thinking you have more knowledge than anyone else. As for the links of UKMix, this is the original thread which got locked down a few months back because of some inappropriate content. Then they opened another one and this is currently active. This person that I'm talking about can't really go down the name calling path there because of the many rules and threat of locking down the thread. But if you have the patience to go through so many pages (especially in the original thread of 11000 pages) you'll see how many people requested this user to be banned. This individual even brought up Marissa's petition several times on that board (especially when no one else was even talking about a topic even remotely closely to this) and would bring it up every other day to bash Marissa and the supporters saying apparently we are bullying Mariah. Basically if you have hard time understanding who this user is on that board, check out people calling them the "ring user", look out for Mariah's engagement ring, and also the name of flower from one of Mariah's lyric. Have you read the comments below her Instagram pics? The comments range from straight up name calling like "slut" to fans trying to reason with her and asking her why she thinks she has to stoop to this level. It's quite disturbing to see a beautiful intelligent woman pushing 50 acting like a teenager. We are definitely not the only ones who find this disturbing. I just hope that her children are sheltered from this behavior. They are way too young to be bombarded with these sexual things. So sad. (Wednesday 14 September 2016; 17:21)
