And that over the pop corn counter move of "HeartBreaker" has been tried and tested. No, it doesn't look remotely as good as Mariah's but I don't care. Texting before "Faded" (65,297) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter So the texting side by side with the scribbling noise before "Faded" wasn't random, it was part of MIAM's theme. Not exactly a theme but let me explain. So you know how Mariah sometimes writes lyrics down on her iPhone? So the scribbling and texting was her just noting down the lyrics "It was overcast that day, I was feeling some kind of way". You can also hear her whisper that over the texting/scribbling. I am calling this a theme because you can hear her light a match right before the start of "You're Mine". She really did light a match for effect while recording this, as she also put this up on her instagram with a caption that went something like "I promise I'm not burning down the studio". At that point we didn't know why she was using it but it was used right at the beginning of YME. The right before "Money" she says "I can't leave it like this", it's apparently what she said once she heard the full album before "Money" was recorded, and she decided something was missing. She also kept the drunk banter before "Dedicated" for effect. She probably wanted to include her writing process somehow in the album or something. I don't know but ya these are some examples of small add-ons she included before the songs. (Monday 15 August 2016; 17:34)

It's the perfect "back to back" for me and it usually takes me awhile to get past that point on the cd from constantly repeating (I have to listen to these particular songs atleast three times before letting the rest of the cd play through). And I'm sorry I love "Vanishing" it's one of my most favorite gems in her archive, it's a beatifful vocal masterpiece etc, but for me "Cry"is more raw and heartfelt. I feel all types of emotions and heart strings being pulled when I listen to Cry. It has to be one of her most emotionally soulful tracks to date or dare I say her most soulful tracks yet. It's a beautiful song, I love the pretty layers and the vocals there are so nuanced. But the moment that first whistle note came out, it was a vocal explosion. Amazing. Every time I hear them, I'd rather listen to Vanishing. I feel that if it has been done once, and done amazingly as Vanishing, then don't try to recreate it. The same goes to Stay In Love (WBT #2). I cannot express how much I love Faded though. My favorite song on that whole album. And I also have to agree with RibbonB, Ribbon was my favorite off of that album. I do enjoy the remix as well, I'm just mad they took out certain ad-libs that made the song what it was. (Monday 15 August 2016; 4:13)

For some reason I was drawn to Faded more than Camouflage and Cry. Neither of those songs did anything for me. Faded, One More Try, Supernatural, Beautiful and Heavenly are about the only songs I still listen to on MIAM. (Monday 15 August 2016; 2:06)

Faded (65,277) by RibbonB from USA I absolutely love this song from MIAM. This should have been the lead in instead of You're Mine Eternal. This song has so many layers and the vocals are killer, especially the last 30 seconds. Mariah outdid herself on this one. It rivals Ribbon from Memoirs, in intensity and emotion, but they are two extremes from the same coin IMO. Where Ribbon is ecstatic, Faded is exhausted, Like a Faded Ribbon, awwwww. To these type of writing and vocals I say, yasss queen all day. Now Giovanni I hope you love Faded too so we can reaffirm our friendship. Lol. (Monday 15 August 2016; 1:36)
