Re: Burnitup (56,883) (56,886) by B from USA
It is my favorite Janet song and video. I'm going to give it a listen. Thanks for sharing.

Re: Faded (56,822) (56,885) by B from USA
Ty, I think #Beautiful was the most radio friendly single (song) she released in years (since 2008). I might be in the minority here but I think You're Mine (Eternal) was an excellent single. It wasn't another We Belong Together replica which is what Faded and almost every ballad she's recorded since 05 have been with the exception of For The Record, Thanx 4 Nothin, Languishing, Cry., and Camouflage.

Hey Eric, what happened to the rest of the post? Did it look like that when you got it? [Webmaster: Yes it did.]

Burnitup (56,883) by this_is_qhm from the Philippines
Wow, Janet's really bringing her A-game for this album. The beat is the sickest she has delivered since All For You - heck, maybe even since If in the 90's. And as we know from Missy's work with Mariah, a feature from her is always, always welcome. Great job.

Fantasy (56,882) by this_is_qhm from the Philippines
Never mind what it sounds like. We all know no other song can top that sugar rush it induces. Now while this song may not be the first collaboration of its kind, it's responsible for bringing the pop/R&B-rap hybrid to mainstream airwaves. 20 years in, in a landscape that's still dominated by a trend "Fantasy" has started, being instrumental in creating contemporary pop/R&B's default sound is certainly no small feat. I only wish Mariah has gotten more credit for it. Happy 20, Fantasy. Time has been very kind to you.

Is such an influential song. It singlehandedly changed the pop music landscape. It is one of the best Mariah song imo.

Anne loves her some Mariah (56,880) by Lee TS from USA
She's so cute but her Charmbracelet story was a bit of a let down. So yeah, Mariah did say she loves The Devil Wears Prada. You know, her asking for the moon and stars and all haha.

Re: Article: Is Nick Cannon dissing Mariah Carey? (56,876) (56,879) by Mirage_Nunez from America
But wasn't Nick the one that reportedly filed for divorce and was so quick to reveal the covering of the"Mariah" tattoo on his back. I mean why play victim, when you were the first to make the bigger public "statement (of his own opinion)" that it was permanently over. I guess he'll soon discover he's never satisfied with any other.

I adore you. No shade intended whatsoever. I figured since you're a member of the lambily you'd understand it's an inside joke among us, lol. Each member of the lambily is one of the characters in Mean Girls. I'm too gay to function to backstabbing hos, lol.

Article: Is Nick Cannon dissing Mariah Carey? (56,876) by nikki from usa
So, Movie Guide is making up their own facts now? Nick filed for divorce from MC, not the other way around. Mariah was the one trying to expedite it, she's the one who was paying for everything, the delay hurts her, not Nick. What loyalty? He filed for divorce almost a year ago and has been with a lot of other women since then - I don't see any context of this being aimed at MC. He was the one helping a lot of hottie's careers and paying their rent for them even when he was with MC. I think he just figured out some of them were playing him. What goes around comes around.

Fifth Harmony's Dinah is a better Lamb than I (56,875) by Baby from Dreamville...Where There's No Beginning & There is No End
Because on Twitter she answered this fan question: "If you could only listen to one song for the rest of your life, what would it be?"
Answer: "You can't do that to me."

Re: Queen Bitch (56,869) (56,874) by Baby from Dreamville...Where There's No Beginning & There is No End
Aww Gretchen, I'm not that fragile. You can Shade me any old time, my derma is very thick tbh. The only way to truly get under my skin is by deliberately spreading or supporting malicious lies, misinformation and slander about Mariah. That's a pet peeve of mine in general. But I do appreciate the disclaimer none the less and thankfully I'm not the only one reporting for duty in the Lamb Guard. We all do our part, yourself included. Good luck on the casting couch for Melody & Mistletoe btw. Yours truly, Regina George.

Re: Article: "Fantasy" 20 years later (56,872) (56,873) by B from USA
It is sad that so called music magazines and publications, especially Billboard, fail to give Mariah the recognition she not only deserves but has earned. The Grammy Awards are no longer an award of merit. They chose Drunk In Love as the R&B Song of the Year and it wasn't. They snub Mariah and award lesser artists which is why I no longer watch the ceremony. MIAMTEC deserved to be nominated for and win Best R&B Album.

Article: "Fantasy" 20 years later (56,872) by Baby from Dreamville...Where There's No Beginning & There is No End
Wow, look at Entertainment Tonight doing the job of RollingStone, Billboard, The Grammy's etc. They are taking thorough too, actually tracking down John Norris and Da Brat for new quotables. I'm impressed since most media outlet's staff are all about shortcuts and secondhand reporting. But not ET, who are also responsible for a recent new classic: 1988 Mariah Carey hair, from the now infamous HWOF event. Very nice to see that there are actually still some people around M who have remained consistent and loyal no matter where the wind blows. All of this was just to reiterate how Fantasy is another genius of MC's and so I guess all that's left to say is Happy Anniversary Hip-Pop and R.I.P.ODB Free the clown, directed by Mariah Carey.

Baby, you're our Regina George. Always putting people in their place and defending our girl with class. The Regina George part of this comment was not meant as a diss. If someone called me Regina George I'd take it as a compliment. I'm Gretchen because my hair is full of Mariah Carey facts, lol.

Re: WoolPac (56,836) by Carlos from Brazil (56,868) by Baby from Dreamville...Where There's No Beginning & There is No End
"Sometimes I honestly enter the messageboard only to be amazed by one of your amazing comments Baby darling. You're winning lambs inside the lambly. Lol." Carlos, that really means a lot because you basically affirmed my core intent for posting on MCA word for word. I'm here to empower and embolden my fellow lambs with as much ammunition to defend Mariah, and the Lambily at large, as intelligently as possible. If I entertain some of you while doing it, it's only a byproduct of my particular brand of humour. So thank you awfully for the feedback Carlos, it's very appreciated. End self-aggrandizing spiel (well, for this post anyway).

Re: "Fantasy" 20 years later (56,866) by Bill from the UK
I agree B, it was a great article and MC certainly deserves way more credit and respect for how she has changed the face of popular music. It's plain as day that, despite what they all say, every female singer of the last ten or fifteen years wants to be Mariah. They emulate her singing style, her various looks, the genres she operates in etc. Mariah will always be the best because she was one of the last genuine artists to descend upon us. When she arrived nobody sang like her, looked like her, or did what she did. It was genuine, she was unique. She is very much "often imitated, never duplicated". So true.

Fantasy (Remix) still sounds fresh today and is the blueprint. Mariah deserves this type of recognition.

MC please surprise us (56,863) by Malcolm from Asia
I want Mariah to do a collaboration with Adele or Sam Smith. I think it's nice to have a surprise collaboration from them. I just wish later this year MC will surprise us with a collaboration either one of these two wonderful artist, together with a classic music video. It will surely be a brilliant ballad. Please MC, serve us one music this last few months before 2016. Wait, what happened to the Infinity remix (Why You Mad?)? I wish it will be included in JB's new album.

Re: Mariah and James red carpet debut (56,859) (56,862) by Marcel from Montréal, Canada
Actually it is the Mexican single to Mi Todo which includes:
1. Mi Todo
2. Butterfly Meme's Extended Club Mix part 1 and 2
3. Butterfly Sambatterfly
4. Butterfly Classic Bossa Nova
5. My All
Sorry I cannot post a pic of one of my copies, it seems like this new message board provider doesn't support the Macintosh. I can't recall if they came in a cardboard or jewel case packaging, because someone I, let's say, don't appreciate at all since long ago, tore them off on one of his hormonal days. I still have the CDs though. Btw, just in case you Andrew are around. I say hello.
