I might be in the minority here but I think You're Mine (Eternal) was an excellent single. It wasn't another We Belong Together replica which is what Faded and almost every ballad she's recorded since 05 have been with the exception of For The Record, Thanx 4 Nothin, Languishing, Cry., and Camouflage. Fantasy (56,882) by this_is_qhm from the Philippines Never mind what it sounds like. We all know no other song can top that sugar rush it induces. Now while this song may not be the first collaboration of its kind, it's responsible for bringing the pop/R&B-rap hybrid to mainstream airwaves. 20 years in, in a landscape that's still dominated by a trend "Fantasy" has started, being instrumental in creating contemporary pop/R&B's default sound is certainly no small feat. Mariah was the one trying to expedite it, she's the one who was paying for everything, the delay hurts her, not Nick. What loyalty? He filed for divorce almost a year ago and has been with a lot of other women since then - I don't see any context of this being aimed at MC. He was the one helping a lot of hottie's careers and paying their rent for them even when he was with MC. I think he just figured out some of them were playing him. What goes around comes around. The Grammy Awards are no longer an award of merit. They chose Drunk In Love as the R&B Song of the Year and it wasn't. They snub Mariah and award lesser artists which is why I no longer watch the ceremony. MIAMTEC deserved to be nominated for and win Best R&B Album. (Thursday 24 September 2015; 22:13)

I'm impressed since most media outlet's staff are all about shortcuts and secondhand reporting. But not ET, who are also responsible for a recent new classic: 1988 Mariah Carey hair, from the now infamous HWOF event. Very nice to see that there are actually still some people around M who have remained consistent and loyal no matter where the wind blows. All of this was just to reiterate how Fantasy is another genius of MC's and so I guess all that's left to say is Happy Anniversary Hip-Pop and R.I.P.ODB Free the clown, directed by Mariah Carey. It's plain as day that, despite what they all say, every female singer of the last ten or fifteen years wants to be Mariah. They emulate her singing style, her various looks, the genres she operates in etc. Mariah will always be the best because she was one of the last genuine artists to descend upon us. When she arrived nobody sang like her, looked like her, or did what she did. It was genuine, she was unique. She is very much "often imitated, never duplicated". So true.
