Tommy book (108,669) by TJ from Norway
I hope that you will bring some updates along the way. I am sure a lot of the readers on this board will call it pure fiction, but please bring the juice.

Vacation (108,668) by Bobby A from United States
Thank you, Zachariah. Have fun in Bali. I hear it is gorgueous there. I love Tenneseee in the summertime. There's nothing like sweet tea with a deli sandwich lunch or pasta entree at dinner. At
restaurants, the waitresses call you honey and sugarplum. That just makes me feel right home when I visit Nashville.

Tommy book (108,667) by Jamie from UK
I've just started reading Tommy Mottola's book from the point he met Mariah. Still got some to go but I was loving the part where he went down to the woodshop after Mariah said come down and meet Ben Marguiles. He says when he got there he was faced with Mariah singing. He said she was good on the demo but to hear her sing there in the woodshop studio was incredible and her voice was so powerful. It gave me goose bumps imagine witnessing that. He said it was then that he noticed her flirting with him and he had to speak to his therapist about her as he felt he was falling in love with her. I can't wait to read some more tonight.

I am bipolar about Walter A (108,666) by Randy from USA
So here's my two cents. A lot of you are excited that she could work with him again. Even I raised my eyebrows when I found out he was producing the Streisand song. I swear he's the dude that was among the attendees at that table where Tommy put that knife to her throat and he said nothing. Turned his eyes and went home to sleep. And that's their break. That's my theory. Anyway my favorite album is Butterfly. My favorite songs on the album are Butterfly, My All and Close My Eyes. They are his productions. So yeah they made magic together. But if you get into her catalogue deeply, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis were his replacements and they did an amazing job with Petals, Against All Odds. Through The Rain is one of my favorites. Let's not talk about Big Jim Wright and Languishing. So did MC really need Walter A for great ballads/introspective songs? Could it be what she's been saying all along, all she needs is a good piano player because she can play but she's terrible? If I hear her say that again, by the way, I'm gonna stab myself in the tongue with a fork. So what do we need Walter A for and what are we excited about again?

Vacation (108,665) by Zachariah from Croatia
Sounds like a great trip. I am visiting Bali this year, all alone. Finally. I hate traveling with others.

I still don't get what does that have to do with Mariah.

Daydream (108,663) by Stacey from USA
Who really knows? I'm just offering up a theory. Still bugs me that 30 years later MC went home that night empty-handed. Such an amazing album that deserved those awards.

401K I believe is an American thing about retirement and savings. I guess it was a poisoning reply, that shouldn't been on the board. I might be wrong, because I don't know the system there.

Has finally started to air programs worth the time. On Tuesday next week it's MC unplugged, and I hope for some music videos soon. They air 1 hour shows of big names all the time now.

Favorite songs (108,660) by Anonymous from USA
Honey. Sweetheart. Crybaby. Just to be around you. There's got to be a way. Obsessed? Sprung? Did I do that? Do you think of me? I didn't mean to turn you on. Got a thing 4 you. Shake it off. Migrate. Melt away. Want you. Vanishing. Fly like a bird. Fly away. Forever. I wish you well. I still believe. Someday. One sweet day, Without you, Up out my face, I'll be there through the rain. Lead the way. Make it happen. Yes, and. For the record. You got me. It's a wrap. It's like that. What more can I give? Thanks 4 nothing'. Clown. Bye bye. Honorable mention to GTFO. Just some of my favorite songs.

Vacation (108,659) by Bobby A from United States
Thank you, Shezz. I am headed to Nashville, Tennessee. I haven't been since I moved to Austin, Texas. It looks like I will have to stay an additional 2 years here in Austin to save some moving money. I am so excited to get back to Nashville because they have the best CD/vinyl record shops and restaurants. Do you have any vacations plans?

Daydream (108,658) by MusicfanJ from Germany
It's an interesting thought. Who really knows what was going on behind "closed doors"? I do believe Tommy wasn't so hapyy with Daydream (Fantasy, remix with Da Brat, the house remix "Daydream interlude" on the album and of course "Looking in"). But because of the extreme commercial success around the world (Daydream went to number one in almost every country) plus the records from the US charts, he must be pleased at last. The Grammy would have been the cherry on the cake at that time.

Why are you being so bitchy? Your comment was so uncalled for. How did you go from 1995 music to 2025 politics? Last time I checked, none of the tracks on Daydream is titled 401K.

Some folks need to lighten up and enjoy the discussion. It can be fun to let the conspiracy side out of the mind once in a while. Edward understood the assignment. Others need to study harder.

Daydream (108,651) by Stacey from USA
I hear what you're saying. I just can't help but think Tommy wanted her to lose more than winning would have benefit him. Daydream definitely has an R&B sound to it, even the ballads.

Wow. The album is produced by Walter. I wonder if there was even communication between him and Mariah. But for me this might be something positive to look forward to.

I’m very curious to hear this collaboration. I hope that MC gives us a clean full voice vocal performance (ala We Belong Together). No pasted together vocals or unnecessary whistles. Just sing MC.

Article: What else does the Hall of Fame want from Mariah? (108,646) by Edward from USA
But Daydream was a pop album with just a grain of R&B on two tracks. Tommy had a lot at stake, Mariah's win would've been his too.

Article: Barbra Streisand duet with Mariah Carey is coming (108,645) by Lainsky from Philippines
The first time I read this article, I felt a surge of excitement and wonder. I'm looking forward to new music, even though she's only a guest artist. However, I can't help but wonder why it has to be with AG. Don't get me wrong, I love AG, but they have already collaborated before. I would have preferred a collaboration between BS and MC. It seems to be a strategic decision, in my opinion. They included AG to broaden the song's appeal to her fans and generation. Nevertheless, I'm choosing to focus on my excitement for this collaboration. A new song is on the way.
