New pictures alert (60,778)
by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter

Mariah out and about, looking stunning in a red dress. The woman is getting younger by the days. Here is a picture of her without the fur coat. Her weight loss is so visible. She is basically down to her idol size almost. This one in particular is straight out of the "Butterfly" era. Loving the "glitter" homage hair too. P.S. Giovanni, you wished for a red gown and cougar hair yesterday haha, Mariah delivered.

The O2 (60,775)

I've seen Mariah in concert and other places before and I've fangirled everywhere she's gone, and, yeah, I knew some parts were lip synced tonight. Kinda crap the whole second half was ballads as it dropped the energy (I was bouncing up and down.) But that aside, it was so much better than the Rainbow and Charmbracelet tour. It was just brilliant. Absolutely awesome. Just amazing. Never had so much fun.

New pics Mariah in Cardiff (60,773)

I'm only critiquing the ones from Mimi L post. I love Mariah but as a east coast girl I have to keep it 100. Mariah looks a hot mess in those pictures. All the money she has and she wears that terrible wig it's so awful. Here we go again with the open toe shoes and pantyhose. Mimi loves her ole' 1990's donut glaze hose LMAO. I can't, then I'm tired of that awful oversized white Sesame Street fur she's rocking. That dress is to pagent/prom season yet again. I don't know how many times I have to say this but, straight blonde hair does nothing. For her, it ages her. As we woman get older, blonde ages you and especially straight long blonde hair. In fact, she looked straight up drag queen ball room, rich older white lady of the house on that darn boat. I feel like Mariah does this on purpose because she knows the British press get a kick out of her diva behavior. On a side note, is Stella's daughter really 12? Any reciepts? Look at her in the Mimi L pic right beside Mariah in the white dress and heels. It's funny I'm really starting to get the Kylie Jenner reference now. Since when does the management daughter hang so much around the star? Not to mention she messed up the Mariah/Will Farrell picture in Vegas. Stella, I got my eyes on you girlfriend.

O2 Arena (60,772)
by Musti from UK

There really aren't any words that can describe the miracle that Mariah is. With 43 years of singing behind her (26 years of it professionally), how can someone still possess her stamina and her clear youthful tone? The woman is a freak of nature. Obviously some parts of some songs were lipped, as any true lamb would tell the difference. But the lipped parts weren't even necessarily the climaxes. I always knew it but I get it even more now. Her voice is too precious to be wasted on 100% live tours and concerts. So before the haters come on here trying to rip her apart, find yourselves a little rat hole and move into it. Who sings completely live these days anyway, let alone a legend like M? The O2 arena was pretty much full house last night. Considering that she is not even liked in this country, it was all the more exciting to see people on their feet singing along to almost every song. This tour is doing exactly what it was intended to do - to win over people's hearts and to remind everyone how an unmistakable part Mariah's music is to the soundtrack of our lives. Even my friends who make fun of her all the time came out satisfied. My only problem was with the merchandise, all of which was very camp. But that didn't stop me from getting my glittering MC hat. Mariah, you have made your lambie super proud. I love you eternally.

It would be nice to hear. Do you believe that Heat was the best of the bunch during their sessions or that they might have a hidden gem whose sound might not have fit that particular album?

Mariah (60,768)
by MC1989 from Spain

Am I the only one who thinks Mariah is sounding very very good in her recent performances? I know she uses recorded vocals in some songs but she's doing great, her voice sounds strong and confident. Hope she remains like this for the rest of the tour. Since the tour started I noticed a big change in her voice and in her attitude compared to her Vegas shows. I'm enjoyng the videos from her concerts on YouTube from the begining to end, something that it didn't happen to me with many videos from her Vegas shows. I've just seen "Emotions" and "My All" live in Cardiff and she did great. I'm glad for her and happy to see her voice on point. However it's annoying that despite she's getting good reviews, a big part of the press still preffers making headlines about the hole in her pants (who cares?) or about that she was late, instead of talking about that she's still standing after 26 years in music or that she brings together more than 10.000 people without almost any promo.

Dahlin' I am sorry, I got a little distracted by the drama on this board. Yes the Cardiff outfit was gorgeous, she sported two hairstyles with it, straight when she was leaving the hotel for the venue and curly when she came back to the hotel. I love the curly hair look more here. Made her look more youthful. She is certainly upping her style game. I want to know who is dressing her now. As for your prediction, I am ready to be slayed.

Queen Mariah on her way to the 02 Arena. Love the shoes. Ok one last picture. She looks gorgeous. Tonight is a big night, I hope to see a lot of videos. Best of luck Mariah. By the way, a fan uploaded this video of the tour book in case anyone is interested. They are 15 pounds each. I love the cute message Mariah wrote for the lambs at the end of the book.

What? No comment about the ensemble Mariah wore in Cardiff? I'm shocked. Did you not like it? I love it. It reminds me of the ensemble she wore at the AMA's in 2006. Whoever is giving Mariah's these ensembles deserves a pat on the back. And now with a new stylist, hopefully she will be looking like the star she is. There are times when Mariah looks like she's in desperate need of fashion advice. The black colored ensembles and stockings have to go. They age her and make her look boring. I want to see more red and cougar hair again. I think she's older now for the straight her. And for the love of God give Beyonce her bodysuits back. I predict a new album either by summer or fall.

Nick (60,764)
by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City)

Nick has come forward to dispel any rumors of a Carey vs Cannon feud and claims the media has too much time on its hands, and furthermore if he had something to say about anyone he would say it. Also both have moved on and are super cool. In other words Mariah and Nick are civil with each other and if we the public are looking for any beef we have to find it elsewhere.

1) Expect to get a full Mimi L special "fashion post" with pictures attached tonight. Don't you worry dear, I got you covered. 2) My post was directed solely at you, so if there was any "shade" (woah wannabe teenager language, sue me) in it or if it was meant for anyone it was solely you because the other post I read urging Mariah to continue was from MC1989 and I thought their post was respectful and they made their point without sounding like a bully or having to call other people on this board stupid. You wrote the same message as MC1989 yet yours is full of personal attacks on a fellow board member by resorting to name calling. 3) You seem to be a fan of "keep calm and carry on" since you use it in all your posts nowadays (weird when you are always the one who is not calm). Anyways dahlin', "keep calm and Carey on" has already been used, abused, and re-used some more by Mariah fans for quite a while now, so if I were you I wouldn't be waiting on that paycheck. You aren't as original as you would like to think. 4) Thank you for the geography lessons love. 5) Do say hi to Mariah from me, but also I want videos of you yelling at Mariah, calling her out on "lip syncing" and the "bad state of her voice", which for you would be the whole show. Ok, I am getting late for my fan girl parade, got my tutu on, unicorn sandals in check, make up on fleek, just gotta find my glitter pouches for the glitter bomb fest.

Post 1 of 15 today for "Mimi L" on the Mimi L message board lol. What's Mariah wearing today? Do remember to post a picture of it with such brilliant commentary as "wow" etc, interspersed with posts about how you'd "like, oh my like God, totally move in with Mariah" if she asked you to. Your commentary about "bullying Mariah" into putting on a concert was just insulting manipulation of what people are actually saying for you to find offence so as to make an argument. Keep calm and Carey on (if that hits the press I want payment). Everyone else seems to be calm, I think it's you and the other one who should consider heeding that advice (so the idiocy goes on: the UK is in Europe - Google Maps can help where basic geography failed). I'm sure you're having some sort or fangirl/fangay strop right now and need the last word so take it. I don't plan on messaging anymore. I'll say hi to MC for you tonight.

Nick vs Mariah (the diss songs edition) (60,757)
by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City)
| |
|
|
I have a chance to both diss records in the Nick vs Mariah saga and it's clear Mariah has beat Nick in my opinion on his latest masterpiece and I mean that term very loosely. The verses are weak and seems rushed. It comes off as someone still practicing and learning their craft. Honestly bless his heart, Nick needs to give up the rapping and stick to hosting. Now onto Mariah. While Infinity may not be a Carey standard for the history books but when I compare both songs she is clearly the better rapper without trying to rap and has the better diss record so in this case here Carey vs Cannon who has the better diss track the verdict is in and the edge here goes to Carey hands down.

Name calling and semi bullying (60,756)
by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
| |
|
|
Travon dahlin', don't let these get to you. When a person resorts to name calling to prove a point, you know they have lost half the argument by default. I don't understand why people are even allowed name calling on this board? If you have an opinion that differs from others on the board, state so without getting so freaking worked up all the time. Also this whole semi-bullying Mariah into doing a show is just nasty. People like this are making it more about Mariah than about safety in general. Mariah may very likely go ahead and do the show, and that's great, but I want to know, how many people who lost their loved ones (or are shook up by this incident) will just snap out of their misery and go to attend a concert just a few days after such a tragedy. Yes we can't live in fear, but isn't it also a concern that Brussels have just suffered a huge shock and it will take a few days for them to sort it all out and then right in the middle if this, there will be a gathering of 10000 people at the concert of a high profile singer and it makes the venue slightly risky? Would the attendees really be willing to take that risk (let's not even consider Mariah at this point). Also I love how the person talks about being super proud if Mariah goes ahead and performs, ya right, you'll still be there talking about how she lip synced and sang off key. Anyways so this is a line I saw on a UKMix Mariah thread and it cracked me up, I wish for the same: "I've often wondered if there's ever been a perfect general thread, without the name calling and threats to others wishing they were dead." Anyways, if Mariah goes ahead and performs, good for her, she will be considered more courageous than a lot of people and I hope her songs can bring strength to the nation, but if she chooses to cancel, let's not just drag her through mud and bully her like she failed her responsibility. A lot of things will play an important role here and Mariah is not the only one who has a say over this. Brussels will have to allow her to go through with the concert, she'll have to take it up with the embassy, and all that. So just calm down everyone.

Couldn't agree more. I hope she doesn't cancel. That's what these terrorists want, they want us to live with fear. What saddens me the most is that these attacks are feeding and intensifying the EU's xenophobic measures against refugees, who by the way are escaping from the same horror spread by Daesh. Thousands of innocent refugees are starving and the EU has just decided to deport them, I'm ashamed to be part of the European Union. Just imagine for a second you and your family are trying to escape from war and terrorism attacks by radical Islamists and after risking your life in the sea or trying to escape they close the borders to you and send you back. Horror. Anyway, I just think we need to help them, we need to make a change and now more than ever say no to war, no to fear. Mariah is a professional and I hope she carries on and belts out Hero for all of us. The show must go on.

I love it when you call me an idiot and a moron. It really proves my point of heartless people in the world. Also, I have European and UK friends in Europe. They respect me enough to not assume the worst in people and depict details. I wasn't referring to all Europeans. I stated that in my post. I will apologize and kiss your ass if you want me to. That seems to be the only way you understand things. However, I am not going to sit here and let you call me an idiot when I was pouring love out to Brussels and Europe today. It is heartless and an inconvenience when terrorist attack and kill people. They are heartless because they kill for their own selfish desires and they don't care for anyone but themselves. They are causing an inconvenience because the normal way of things become disrupted and changed due to their actions. So please don't you dare come for me and try to give me a lecture. I don't make excuses to better my argument or lash out because I act like I didn't passed the 9th grade. Child sit down and stop trolling.
