I feel so bad that this is all it takes for her fans to turn on her. Even leaving notes like "I hope Mariah gets better" is bad because that means you all are believing this bullshit. This woman has been in the public eye for years even post 2001. How do you think she managed to be on TV weeks after week, perform in Vegas thrice a week, go on one promo tour after another and still be the person Morgan is describing her to be? Morgan is the new LaToya Jackson. Remember when she called out Michael to be a pedophile openly and then later she said that she did that because of her husband? What saddens me more is that some people on this board, who I thought actually had the brains to separate bullshit from truth, are also on the Morgan bandwagon now. It's one thing to criticize her craft/professionalism but to basically call her a mentally unstable drunken person is crazy. Have you not seen her with her kids? Have you not seen her hold those intimate concerts during CB era? The huge promos during TEOM. You think by now someone or the other wouldn't have leaked her "dark secret behind the scenes" if all these were true? Whitney couldn't keep her drug problems out of the media. Mariah is more exposed than Whitney, how do you think she managed all this? Let's even take recent examples, have you not seen her promoting Infinity and Vegas? Did she look drugged up? How many times have you woken up to read the headline "Mariah Carey, stumbling drunk out of a nightclub at 3 am?" I am guessing never. How about articles about her shaving her head or going off on the paparazzi? Never. How do you think a person can be so calm and composed when she is drinking 24/7? Seriously you guys, this is a new low. Someone said Morgan knows Mariah, we don't. Morgan hasn't seen Mariah in years. He probably knows as much about Mariah now as we do. With the exception of the much understandable 2014 drinking episode, I am not buying bullshit about MC being a drunken mess and bipolar patient. I wouldn't blame Mariah if she reads all the stuff her fans are saying and says: Screw it all, I'm going away. And never bother looking back. Since when is The National Enquirer a credible source? And if he really cared about Mariah's well being would he have sold her out like this? If this is true, how is Mariah's face being plastered on the cover of a sleazy tabloid going to help the situation? Is she going to say, "Gee, my brother just sold a story about me to a tabloid telling all of my business so now I should go get help?" Be serious. And if Mariah has been in a bad state since 2001 shouldn't we have seen it in her public behavior by now? She was on American Idol every week in 2013. She released one of the most critically acclaimed albums of her career in 2014. And in 2015 she is the #1 female live act according to Billboard. Some of you all sound real slow. When the split became public it was Shawn by her side when the reporter was hounding Mariah for a statement and he seemed very protective of her. I highly doubt he has any reason to enable her. Morgan and Allison are mooches (54,263) by nikki from usa Except, Morgan didn't used to be. I find it questionable he'd take an 11 year old Mariah to Studio 54. He was a male model and fitness instructor for many years. I thought the article that came out a few months ago featuring him as a sibling to a famous celeb and how he had his own mini fame was interesting. A few months later he's "dishing" to tabloids. It's all the same thing: Mariah by proxy. Is the fitness business not going well anymore? This is very deja vu of the last interview I read by Allison. She was begging to see her niece/nephew again. Only, "this time it wasn't just about the money". That sentence caught my attention. So, she does want money too. Allison tells of the last time she went to the tabloids begging to be in MC's life again and meet her kids. It worked. It also turned out it was a ruse because Allison did just want money. They got together for lunch. So, after MC believes Allison wanted sibling bonding it turned out she did just want money. MC paid her than dropped communication. I can see why. Morgan is doing the exact same thing. He was a male model and fitness expert for celebs, he has ways of getting Mariah if he wanted to, it's obvious he's after something else. When the hell was the last time Morgan was anywhere in Mariah's life? I haven't heard anything from that boy since MC moved into her 9 million penthouse. He certainly isn't in any of her holiday pics. No one goes to the NE out of love for anyone. The tabloids are the ones that pay the most for stories. Oh yes, I care so much about my family let me tell the world "about their problems" and get paid because I care. Bullshit. Mariah just finished doing an interview stating she wasn't drinking anything because of her voice and the Vegas location. Her instagram the past few months have been a testament to that with water bottles everywhere. I can see why Mariah has trust issues and why she blocks people. I also call BS on not being able to get a hold of her. MC's a self-proclaimed mama's girl who talks to her mom frequently, so if her siblings needed to get a hold of her there's an easy way. What really sucks is he's now putting MC in danger with her kids' custody with BS like this. If Nick thought there was danger he would've voice it as he does everything else. According to him, MC is so drunk, she's able to walk in 5 inch heels without stumbling despite there being millions of cameras recording her over the years. She's so drunk that she was able to do American Idol (punctually) despite the drama Nicki thrown at her and still was able to keep a straight face. She's so drunk that Nick will vouch for her and say she's a good mother. She's so unstable that she would perform at a charity event with cracked ribs and nerve damage. She's such a drunk that not only did she do a live Christmas taping while pregnant but also went back in the studio to sing with Tony Bennett. (But of course she was drinking while pregnant.) You know I feel for Morgan because this is so out of the blue for him and way out of character. I suspect that somebody is pulling the strings on him. I believe there's a picture of MC with her brother and his wife. I think this is the only photo of her with her sister-in-law. (Webmaster, do you know what picture I'm talking about?) I don't know who this woman is. I'm beginning to suspect that somebody is trying to cash in on their distant connection to MC, and there's nothing like a man selling someone out over another woman. Walmart performance (54,260) by Jono from USA It was pretty solid, and I love that as of late she has been doing more live vocals as opposed to pre-taped. It shows that her confidence in performing live is growing again. I'd much rather have a raw, live vocal than a dubbed one. Mariah's nephew Shawn (you know, the one she put through Harvard and basically raised and who is close to Mariah to this day) just called Morgan out on his BS. His twitter is @shawnpmcd and he tweeted a just few hours ago, "Total lie. This isn't about help. This is about $. He isn't/hasn't been around for literally years. Old, broke and sad. Pray for him." I know that many of you already believe Morgan, but I'll take the side of the one who didn't offer "help" to his sister by giving an interview to the National Enquirer. My two cents (54,256) by Dove from USA A lot of celebrities have come out about being bipolar: Simon Cowell, Britney Spears, Demi Lovato. Maybe it's a side-effect of fame. I just want her to be okay. If she is on those meds she can't be drinking. If she does have a problem I just want her to get help and get better. I want to look forward to new music from her for my whole life. Plus, she has those babies who need their mama. If there really is a problem, career doesn't matter right now. She should just take some time to stabilize and we'll be here waiting when she's ready. Maybe the label can release a b-sides and rarities (unreleased songs) to keep her name out there or if she feels up to working she can record the standards album. If anything, he's been the oldest and most confident source in Mariah's family who would know those kind of details about her life. I still don't understand how some people on this board try and destroy this man's credibility when he clearly actually knows Mariah personally vs all of us watching from afar. It's clear from his account, that he's voicing his concern for her safety. That's what a brother is supposed to do if he can no longer reach out to her directly. We all know Mariah has a huge ego and cuts anyone off from her circle who even whispers an ounce of truth, so why is it hard to accept Morgan? In the last 2 weeks Jermaine Dupri and Morgan both have revealed Mariah needs help. I believe the only way Mariah will get the help she needs is if she seeks it out. Morgan Carey (54,253) by Special K from USA I believe Morgan. I hate the fact that he did an interview with Radar Online but I straight up believe him. For the past 15 years Mariah hasn't been consistent at all regarding her live performances. Sometimes the voice is there, sometimes it's not which has lead to more and more lipped performances. Jermaine Dupree was onto something when he said Mariah doesn't take her career seriously. I'm not saying she is an alcoholic but Mariah appears to drink more than socially which isn't good if she is on bi-polar medications. Unfortunately many people who are diagnosed with Bi-polar don't like taking their medications and resort to alcohol or drug abuse to numb the mental pain. Sorry but Morgan spoke nothing but truth when he said something about the people around her don't have her best interest along with Mariah having a big ego. I really thought The National Enquirer fabricated the whole thing. I never thought he would do that. He was the one that paid for her demo tape. I remember him always speaking highly of her. First, Alison backstabbed Mariah, now Morgan. Mariah even dedicated the first album to Alison. I am praying that Morgan is lying or exaggerating. He obviously is doing it for the money. He seems to be the one that looks like he has a substance abuse problem. I don't think Mariah could be doing everything she is doing if she was an alcoholic. I am very pleased that she picked up the note at the end of Infinity and ABMB sounded phenomenal. Morgan Carey's video interview (54,247) by Ardis Logic from Earth So there is in fact, a video of Mariah's brother Morgan, saying that she is bipolar and has been on bi-polar meds since 2001. Wow. I am really concerned if all he says is true. If it isn't true, I feel really sad that Mariah has to put up with family members who sell lies to the media for money. Walmart performance (54,244) by Jenny from South Africa I loved what she was wearing. It's much better than the ballgowns and she looked younger and more relaxed and comfortable. She sounded really good for most of it. She struggled a bit here and there but her voice sounded very pleasing and strong for the most part. I enjoyed it. She looked like she was enjoying it too.
