Sat by the beach in Mandalay Bay Hotel (53,169) by John john from UK
Beautiful is blasting out loud here. I've heard this track loads this week and it is still popular. Going to see Mariah again tonight. Woohoo. Saw Britney Friday night. I can tell you one thing without been rude to another artist. Mariah has nothing to worry about. The show is gonna be a massive success here, if it's anything like opening night. Excited to see the show again tonight. I was nervous for her on Wednesday but no nerves tonight baby.

This might be a stretch and/or wishful thinking, but I think if Mariah can give a stellar performance of Infinity at the BBMAs, she can indeed get Infinity to chart back up. BBMAs is a big platform and performing the song there is like re-introducing the song so basically like a new release date. If she can just manage to grab the attention of the GP with the song while performing it there, she can very well get more downloads. The music video has been delayed for way too long. I get it that maybe they were trying to include the Vegas concert in it, but I can't help but be a little worried. MC and Brett were uber confident when they talked about the video in their impromptu radio call in and went as far as to say that "it will blow your minds". So at this point I really can't figure out what they have that is going to be so fantastic, but I have my fingers crossed and I hope that the music video creates another buzz to increase streamings and downloads. There's only so many times a non-lamb will stream a lyric video. Giving them some buzz worthy visuals in the form of the music video may be helpful especially if it has something that will go viral. Like "corny like Fritos" went viral.

Nick Cannon pays tribute to Mariah Carey on Mother’s Day (53,167) by Ardis Logic from Earth
This guy tries to act like he loves and appreciates MC so much. I just get the feeling that he is so fake and phony. If you claim to love and care about her so much, then why did you break her heart and cause her so much pain and heartache? I have a feeling this is going to go on for a long time. He will be using Mariah and their children to get attention. It's obvious to me that he is full of (****).

I'm so curious, please send me this interview. [Webmaster: I don't even know how to answer this one polite.]

Merchandise (53,164) by James (Twiggy) from United Kingdom
Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone who has been to the shows yet seen any of the merchadise or has any pictures of the stalls etc? I'm intrigues to see what I can spend all my money on when I get there.

That "Dreamlover" video (9.5.2015) (53,163) by Billy from Greece
Oh my goodness. Do you hear how her voice resounds? Her voice is such a wonder. Hearing this legendary thick mid-range belt makes you realize once more the difference between "sanging" and screaming (no to shade and "singers" or anything).

Mimi L., Infinity updates (53,162) by Marcus from Brazil
Mimi L., looking at it realistically, "Infinity" did what it was going to do. It's too far down on iTunes now to recover. The video could serve as a means to promote her shows in Vegas and that's good though. I'm happy she's getting good reviews because at least she's putting an effort in doing things right, even if she lips, she's doing it convincingly. She doesn't seem to be giving herself away by trying to conceal it with the spinning or covering her face. The first show was important because that's the show the media usually focuses on, and now it is out of the way and with great reviews, now she can relax and just perform. "Leaking" the audio to TMZ was pure genius.

Happy Mother's Day (53,161) by Ardis Logic from Earth
Mothers are very important. It is the most challenging job that you might ever have, but at the same time the most rewarding. I want to wish Mariah a very happy "Mother's Day". Also to all the ladies who may be mothers here, this is for you all. "For a mother's love is bold and fearless in defense of her sweet child. It fosters loving kindness in the children of her heart. But most of all, mother's love gives the confidence and strength to the young ones by her side, as she inculcates her value of their significance and worth into their lives. The more of this love a child receives, the more equipped they are in life to succeed."

Touch My Body in Mail interview (53,160) by Luis from Spain
It sounds a bit strange, doesn't it? I think she was referring to I Stay In Love which was released in late 2008.

Infinity updates? (53,159) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
So what's the update on Infinity in US? Are the radios playing it? I heard the song has fallen really low on the iTunes charts. I wonder what Sony's next plan is. I mean I don't think they'll let this single go to waste but after what happened the last few times I can't help but be nervous. They are shooting the video I know, but ya I was just worried. I really want this to work.

What I love about the Daily Mail article (53,158) by Deedre aka MiTodoChop @HBF from Canada
It is just another one of life's shining examples. We can't judge each other. We aren't living someone else's experience, and no matter how things appear on the outside, there is always, always always more going on beyond the surface. No matter what the circumstances seem to be.

Mariah's example, great faith (53,157) by Spir Ja from USA
What have I learned from MC over the years? Her faith as a great example and demonstration. Look what she tells us [...]: she wants people to be [...] (obviously she checks this board, people). [...] She wants people to [...] in gratitude, be thankfull for what they [...]. Personally, I've gone [...] alot of loss and have been burned by trusting [...], being told I'm very naive over and over. The [...] way to survive is to [...] and control your mindset. And she's doing it selflessly with her kids. Bravo Mariah.

The Mail article (53,156) by Randy from USA
It's the first article in years I have read about her where I learned things I didn't know. That's the problem with being a fan. That was an amazingly heartbreaking piece and now I feel bad about being so critical of her.

The Mail Online interview (53,155) by carlos from peru
That interview is one of her most honest interviews in the last decade at least. It makes me think about how rude some people can be, even "lambs here" are always judging Mariah about her voice, weight, etc, but they don't know what the woman is going through, what's behind the star. Now she's trying to get in shape in every form, putting the best she can and what she needs is real support not stupid comments about what she was in the past. She was very open and sensitive in the interview that I wanna give her a big hug. Wish the best for her, I can feel so much pain and sadness in the interview so I hope everything gets better for her.

Sense of humour (53,154) by Musti from UK
I'm absolutely loving Mariah's sense of humour lately. The Mail Online interview, the Fritos pie segment, even the caption for her Chippendales photo. She's back full throttle. I couldn't be happier for her. Seeing her smiling and joking around and just being her positive self really makes me happy. Keep it up Mariah.

Marissa (53,153) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
You are right about the print versus video interview. In the videos she gets distracted by her angles, she is more aware and on guard and all. In print interviews she is much more relaxed, more open to talk and I honestly am glad she finally put out this interview. The world needs to hear this.

BTS (53,152) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
This person seems to have 2 snippets of BTS of "Infinity". Seems like there is a story after all. Fingers crossed.

The interview (53,151) by Lee TS from USA
Yeah that was such a nice read, I almost didn't want it to end as I was taking in every word she was saying. I agree I love it when she does these print interviews in the middle of the night in her hotel suite. I really want to see M do a cover with the twins for People magazine. Those covers of celebrity moms with their kids always look so happy like JLo and Britney. I love seeing the mom side of her.

Infinity music video (53,150) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
Mariah posted a picture of a BTS of the Infinity video. She is seen sitting infront of a huge mirror and dressing table. The first thing I thought when I saw the picture was "Is it a WBT continuation?" I don't know, I am excited. I just hope it has a good storyline.

Will from England (53,148) by Jenny from South Africa
I agree with you. She hasn't given such a personal interview in a long time. I have Side Effects in my head now. It was one of my favourites from E=MC2. I never thought she'd be using it for Nick too. It's sad that she's been through such a difficult time. She sounds like a really good mother. She's still the same person she's always been. I think fans who think she doesn't care or she's not down to earth anymore are wrong about that in my opinion.

The advantages to being a music veteran (53,147) by Travon..SweetSweetFantasy from USA
I have had 10 years to reflect on Mariah Carey and all the veterans in every genre. Since 2006, R&B, HipHop/Pop, or crossover quality of music has been on a dramatic decline. Most veterans released their last successful albums before 2006 and I always found it ironic how bad these great artist are treated today, as lesser has-beens to new artists. Younger artist of this generation say they respect music but they never bring value that lasts anymore like the veterans have done. Can you name 15 artist that came famous from 2000-2004 with a timeless classic? I cant even name one. It is an epidemic that is only going to get worse if we don't get more MJs, Whitneys, Diddys, Madonnas, Mariahs, Beatles, or any trailblazer that has changed the game. I am scared if Mariah leaves, the balance of having a true artist will deflate and hurt this generation of music. Mainstream artists don't put their hearts into music like the veterans and unknown artist do. Therefore, musicians with intriguing sounds but no direction, YouTube sensations who become famous without putting in the work (demo tape), rich families who pay for their children with zero talent(autotune), sexual image artist with no artistic vision or sound, movie crossover soundtracks that never would of seen the light of day in 90s music scene, are hurting this generation of music. So I am happy Mariah has not given up. She is an artist who doesn't depreciate her value. She is a true definition of what an artist should be.

Why now is the perfect time for a ceasefire (53,146) by this_is_qhm from the Philippines
I've done my share of criticism in the past. I'm sure I will continue to do that in the future. But right now, as much as I think some critics on this board have valid points, it's also nice to see that a lot are coming to Mariah's defense so passionately. If there's a time that she needs support the most, it's now. The woman has been through hell and back repeatedly and unlike many others, she did not have to spiral out of control first before getting back on her feet. If Whitney can do crack (just because she couldn't handle, in my opinion, less worse situations than what Mariah has been through), damage her voice bigtime in the process, and still have her legacy revered by both fans and non-fans alike, then why on earth can't Mariah be afforded the same reprieve from the very people she treasures the most? Forget the times she's been kicked while she was down. Don't get me wrong, of course it wasn't easy, but she has shown time and again that she's more than strong enough to deal with that. In life, sometimes, the part of getting back up and rebuilding yourself proves to be even more challenging than the struggle itself. Now is not the time to nitpick, especially if we already have the rest of the world doing that for us. Just support would suffice and would be much more welcome.

Daily Mail interview (53,145) by Marissa from USA
I enjoyed the Daily Mail interview. I always prefer when she does print interviews rather than television because she lets her guard down and gets much more candid. I'm glad to see her opening up after a lengthy period of being tight-lipped. Hopefully she considers the upcoming interviews cathartic.
