Mariah coming back to being Mariah (51,604) by May from Denmark The dress she wore to the charity was like a reminiscence of her 90s days with the leg showing in one side. While I'm not blown away by the dress as a style we have seen her wore several times before, it's like a modern version of the "old Mariah", I think that it is a great way to see that Mariah is "coming back" for real this time. Why would she divorce a dead beat husband and not feel inspired to scrutinise any of her other dysfunctional commitments? Mariah's career is arguably her first "baby". In that analogy the publicist becomes one of the nannies. What then is a mother to do when her baby is stuck in arrested development if not release said nannies from her employ? Soon to be revealed and the waiting (51,601) by May from Denmark Today being my birthday, I take this "reveal" as a present from Mariah haha, it couldn't be in a better day. I have the website opened with the countdown because I'm afraid it might crash or something like it happened with the Caesar's one hahaha, so just in case it is right up there so in case it goes all to hell at least I get a sneak peak before goes up again rofl. I agree that it would so lame if it was just artwork, I was thinking exactly the same. The anticipation is so incredibly much that now there is no way to go back, the surprise better be big haha. Love all this excitement. Regarding Triumphant, I so much love that song (except the rappers, sorry, me not digging it nhaw). My favorite version of Triumphant is the Vintage throwback. It is amazing. Blasted that version on repeat so many times and it sounds much better while drinking wine. Also someone mentioned (think RJIsomething, haha sorry can't write your nickname unless I look at it) that Say Somethin' is kinda weak and yes, I always thought so too. I only hear the song along with the video, the video is beautiful, Mariah looks gorgeous and sexy in there, sophisticated, cash cash. "Mine Again" is superb, it deserved much more. TEOM (51,600) by Luke from United Kingdom My all time favourite song from that album is "Fly Like A Bird". I remember when I was a child I used to love watching birds and how much I wished I could be one so I could travel the world haha. I still feel like that but I will have to settle for plane trips. I think that's why that song stuck out for me even though it has nothing to do with travel, I still think of that song if I get nervous before travelling and it makes me feel better. Plus "Sprung" and "I Wish You Knew" are my other favourites. (Sunday 12 April 2015; 13:11)

Countdown (51,599) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter I'm scared, and I'm nervous, I don't wanna be hurt. Haha. With just a few hours left, I'll be honest, I am really nervous, with the internet going crazy thinking what will Mariah reveal, I'm scared that at this point an album cover reveal will piss some people off because they have been waiting for two days. Now I know the link shared has the words "album artwork reveal" but I don't think people really saw it because they are still debating as to what the reveal might be and also the "artwork reveal" part is not appearing in all places. Just listened to TEOM (51,598) by Jenny from South Africa Wow I forgot how amazing this album really was. The only songs I don't enjoy so much are We Belong Together and Shake It Off. Every other song is such a joy to listen to. I've been really stressed lately at work and this album just put me in a great mood. I can't believe I forgot about I Wish You Knew and Fly Like A Bird. To The Floor definitely should have been a single. It's such a fun song and I love listening to Nelly trying to sing lol. Say Somethin' is also great but To The Floor would have done better as a single. So Lonely, Get Your Number, the whole album is incredible. Abraham (51,597) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter I really like Triumphant and I actually don't even mind the rappers. I like the song as it is. I do like the additional part she recorded for the remix, and it would have been great if someone it could have been incorporated in the main song, but I have nothing but love for this song. It's very uplifting for me. I also adore the video. Very glamorous and I love the gold accents all over the video. That's what Mariah is, pure gold. I am not a fan of the #Beautiful video, but I love how she looked in it. She was gorgeous and didn't look even close to 40. I hope Sony gives her a decent budget for videos. I don't want to have another H.A.T.E.U. moment, which was also directed by Brett but was not good due to low budget. But I think the new video will be great because MC said it will blow our minds. If she is so confident about it, she must have struck gold with this video. (Sunday 12 April 2015; 11:21)

Triumphant (51,596) by Abraham from USA I also love this song Mimi L. I think if Mariah would have added more lyrics and ditched the rappers, it could have been better. I also enjoy the video. I think Mariah's last good video in my opinion was "Don't forget about us". However I really enjoy "Beautiful" because she looks amazing. Lee / RJJ12 (51,595) by Abraham from USA I guess you're right. Mariah probably would have killed it in the 90's. Maybe around '96 or '97. But still, she could try. Excuse me, "Say something" isn't lame. It's probably my favourite from "TEOM", along with "Stay the night". I also happen to like "To the floor". I do agree that "Mine again" should have been a single though. It's a great song. I'm hoping her next album will have some killer tracks along with at least one good collaboration. Talking about these songs is making me want to listen to the album so I'm going to do just that right now lol. Mine Again and Circles are great songs too. To be honest the songs actually released as singles were my least favourite on the album and I tend to skip them. Reveal Mariah (51,592) by Dan from Italy Only a few hours to go. There are just so many possibilities that's it's difficult not to get excited. I suppose it could be the release of a song called "Infinity". In any case, I have a strong feeling it's going to be music. I really hope it has something to do with her demo tape, especially now that she's back at Sony. Some signs point to it. Those YouTube videos, that reference to "Hypnotize" in MC's tweet, that picture of the legit-looking album artwork roaming around the Internet. I don't know how "Infinity" ties in with that though, so maybe I'm wrong. There's only a few hours to go though, so we won't have to wonder for long. (Sunday 12 April 2015; 8:24)

RJJ12 (51,591) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter It bugs me to say this (mainly because I absolutely adore the video of Say Somethin') but I have to agree with you that it was a weak song. The Neptunes didn't even try on this track. I sometimes like this song, and maybe I'll dig it up and listen to it but that happens quite rarely. It's sexy and all but whatever it does for me, I'd say So Lonely does better. Obviously the two are completely different in sound and music but the sensual lyrics and message of desire is pretty much the same. I however absolutely love the video and MC looks great in it, otherwise I wouldn't mind if the track was not on the album. Also I get what you mean about the countdown. It's exciting and all but I think a 6 hour countdown would have been more than enough if it was just to reveal an album cover. As much as I want to see it, having to hyperventilate for 2 days for a picture is not fun. However the Sony China notice gives me some hope that if not Sunday then by Monday we might get a huge announcement. Am I being to greedy? (Sunday 12 April 2015; 6:17)

Warren and Bill (51,590) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter Warren, I would have no problem believing that because Your Girl is a good summer song and I have many a time heard it on repeat, trying to pretend I can hit those notes. But like I said, I have a love hate relationship with it and sometimes end up skipping it. You are absolutely right when you say MC caters to everyone because Triumphant is a song I really love and it's very uplifting for me but I know that majority of the lambs hate it, so that's why I have come to accept that we all have different choices. Bill, To The Floor is one of my favourites too. I love the song and the vocals are so sultry and the song is sexy yet laid back. MC's vocals are sexy and for some reason like you said "free" sounds like the most appropriate description. The backs no forth flirting between MC and Nelly shows their chemistry. TEOM album filler? (51,587) by 123 from USA Sorry, I have to disagree with your picks. Mine Again should have been a single instead of the lame Say Somethin'. Mine Again is classic Mariah with the big belts and everything, with just her and the organ. Mariah finally relinquishes production credits since her second album to work with the Neptunes and that's the best they give her? They didn't believe she would hit it big again and were looking for a quick paycheck. Boy were they wrong and Jermaine's remix So So Def Remix of Say Somethin' totally smashes the original and should have been on the re-release. At least the video was nice. Your Girl is a favorite of mine because the uptempo is a break from most of the balladry and is very catchy. Yes the lyrics are simple but she sings her butt off on this song. Circles is such a nice ballad, also another classic Mariah sounding song and you can tell by the way she sings it that she feels the lyrics. She sound hurt and emotional when she sings this song. If anything is filler it's the bland Say Somethin' and the weak To The Floor. The rest is perfection. (Sunday 12 April 2015; 1:12)

Mimi L (51,586) by Bill from the UK I agree, for me Emancipation was her most consistently good album since Butterfly, though not to infer on the albums inbetween of course. Circles and Mine Again were great tracks. Mine Again wouldn't have been out of place on her earlier records, and Circles sounds retro yet completely up to date at the same time, it's great. Your Girl was for a long time my most favourite track on the album. I loved its simplicity, how summery it sounded, and the instrumentation. But my ultimate favourite has got to be To The Floor. I know many fans don't rate that track, but I just love it. Sounds so free and sexy. I'm debuting my new avatar (did you all miss the Reveal Bill countdown I was doing for two days?) as much as I love ABMB (it will I think always be my favourite single cover), after several years of using it I have switched to a blue filtered Emotions shot.
