Yes for a Beyonce duet (50,851) by Marissa from USA
I think a duet with Beyonce would be genius, George. Easy publicity and they actually like each other. This is the height of Beyonce's popularity and hopefully that could have a significant positive effect on MCs career. I'd prefer a club banger over a ballad though.

MIAMTEC (50,850) by B from USA
Swift's 1989 album was the first and only to go platinum in 2014. Selling 100,000 copies of an album today is the equivalent of selling 500,000. The RIAA needs to change their antiquated system for issuing certifications. The best selling albums of the last few years have barely sold 2,000,000 copies. Those sells figures used to be a disappointment. Mariah's MIAMTEC sold well considering the state of the industry and the lack of promo. The lead single #Beautiful sold 1,000,000 copies and peaked at #15 on the Hot 100. MIAMTEC received some of the best reviews of Mariah's career. Her career and legacy are not in jeopardy. She didn't promote MIAMTEC because of issues in her personal life and career that we still don't know about other than the divorce.

Shelly (50,848) by B from USA
The Smeezingtons are a songwriting and record producing team, consisting of Bruno Mars, Philip Lawrence, and Ari Levine. They produced and co-wrote Nothin' On You performed by rapper B.o.B and Mars and F You performed by Cee Lo. Mariah needs to work with The Smeezingtons and Bruno. If she did she'd score that elusive 19th #1.

She means business (50,846) by Kyle from USA
This HRC Gala is the perfect opportunity to drop a new single and get immediate feedback. She will slay this performance. She is starting to gear up promotion for the new album and Las Vegas. Now that the divorce and Def Jam are behind her, she is back and ready to silence everyone.

A game (50,845) by George Golden from UK
Mariah has to bring her A game now that she is back with sony. No more mocking about, she needs abig single asap. A duet with Beyonce would be amazing for her number ones album. A big uptempo number that would be a smash before people start to criticise. A song in the line of Bananarama's "Cruel summer". Now that would be epic. Just saying.

Favourite musical partnerships of Mariah's (50,844) by Baby from Dreamville...Where There's No Beginning & There is No End
1. Jermaine Dupri *Brian Michael Cox *Manuel Seal, 20 years this year
2. David Morales
3. Big Jim
4. Puffy and Stevie J.
6. The Dream and Tricky
7. Ben Margulies *Ric Wake *Narrada Michael Walden #Afanasieff
8. Walter Afanasieff
9. Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis #James "Big Jim" Wright
10. Clivillés and Cole
**Honourable mentions: Marc Shaiman, Da Brat, Damizza. The only position that is fixed is the #1 spot and I mainly have Walter on the list for sentimental reasons. I have no desire for them to work together again in any capacity even though she's back at Sony. I'm curious what the rest of the Lambily's lists look like. Have a go, why don't you?

RJ112, are you listening, Mariah? (50,843) by Stacey from USA
Thank you for posting some amazing videos. I loved the VOL performance. I think if she gives each Vegas concert that kind of effort and soul, her residency will be a smashing success. I especially loved Trey Lorenz at the end saying "take your time baby" and MC laughed back. Moments like that are genuine and show people MC is a real person. I hope with these Vegas concerts, MC learns to embrace her early works. I know Sony tried to mold her into something she wasn't, but still, those songs are loved by many and what got her started. I understand she still sings Hero, Dreamlover, VOL. However, I miss songs like LLT (the video RJ112 posted). I hope she does a mashup of some #1s with maybe a non-single track thrown in to add to the magic (aka Alone In Love or Till the End of Time, etc). Are you listening, Mariah? With MC going back to Sony/Epic, this is a chance for her to cement her place in music history, to make people stand up and listen. She is a true talent and deserves people to remember that once again. I hope someday we get all those recorded tracks that never made the album, videos we never got to see. Fans like myself that have been following MC for two decades deserve such a gift.

Duets on new CD (50,841) by Ethan from United States
Wow. I have no idea that my predictions came true. In the news statement, it said that there are will new surprises and duets of her classic hits. Lots of ideas for her newly updated #1s but we all have to wait and see. I hope this LA Reid's guide will not be a miss like the last time he oversaw MOAIA.

Just a brief little reminder (50,840) by Lee TS from USA
JD didn't work on YME or TAOLG. The original songs he worked on MIAM were Make It Look Good, You Don't Know What To Do, and Supernatural which in my opinion stood out and some of the best tracks. The last singles that were released by him was Oh Santa and Don't Forget About Us. Emancipation's success was hugely because of Mariah's work with JD. The only thing that didn't work was them "merging" and him managing her. I still enjoy their work together so if Jermaine likes it then I like it. It's definitely exciting that Mariah is moving back to Sony because it seems like a new and fresh start. My only concern is I hope L.A. Reid can get it right, because "don't they always choose the worst second singles"? No shade.

Singing the classic number 1s in Vegas (50,839) by 123 from USA

I don't know if she is just going to do a medley of her older hits (first three albums), but I began to worry if her voice could ever pull it off. Then I remembered this performance from not so long ago, 2013. I never thought I would ever hear her sing this song again let alone a snippet of her sounding so close to the 90s belts. It was like, woah.

Re: Cover song wish (50,772). I don't listen to ABBA but looked up that song you suggested (Thank You For The Music) because I was curious. It put a big smile on my face. It's a cute, happy, sunshiny song, I liked it.

Mariah and Idina Menzel (50,836) by Emmanuel from Canada
In my mind, these two are going to collaborate on a song together. Why did MC tagged Idina in one of her tweets and then Idina respond immediately? I think it's a great idea because Idina seems to be on everybody's tongue lately. A collabo with these two would be epic. Also, remember how in February of 2013, she retweeted Miguel with "I cant wait to see your performance tonight" and then she retweeted the actual performance of the night. 3 months later, they announced #Beautiful. I believe there is something brewing here guys. Then again, I can just be delusional. Haha.

Blueprint VOL performance (50,835) by 123 from USA

This is the real Mariah. Even when singing a ballad, she is so expressive with her body. She isn’t standing there, frozen. When I first heard this, I was being so critical and commented on how she now has a rasp in her upper belts and how she doesn’t sound as crystal clear as the 90s. Days later, I went back to it after seeing some performances between 99-04, and I was so impressed as to how much more soulful she sounds when she belted on this performance. The imperfections in her voice, actually made her performance that much more emotional and expressive. The changes she made to the arrangement just made it better 15 years later. That growl at 2:29 made everyone in the audience stop what they were doing and cheer. How lucky they where to witness this. All of the Blueprint performances were so great vocally, and performance wise. I rather her sing it live instead of lipping the end of each song and sing those parts, imperfections and all. As long as she is singing like this, there is now way you can’t feel what she is singing.

Brandon (50,832) by Dove from USA
Adore, it's sexy and reminds me of Sexual Healing by Marvin Gaye. Judging from just that song, though, it sounds like what she's already doing now. I like the sound and energy of the Bruno Mars songs you listed and the Back To Black album by Amy Winehouse. That's exactly what I had in mind for MC also, I just didn't know how to describe it. Like an updated, cool, jazz and big band music. She could do some slow jazzy numbers and upbeat ones to where she can dance to them but she doesn't need to know how to pop and lock. That would be perfect with the current smoky tone of her voice too. Then, David Guetta and Will I Am (or whoever is the hot dance person) can give us some remixes for when we go running.

UTS (50,828) by Andrew from UK
Think it's great that the new signing coincides with lambs saying that while MIAM is a fine collection, they want a new sound. Hopefully Mariah is listening and the Dupri et al. business is merely about the residency. It's nice to realistically feel that there may be a positive future. As well as an Underneath The Stars video? Did I pass out for 20 years? I almost pissed my pants, mate. Is that a rumour or real?

Unreleased songs (50,827) by Rashidi Rahim Rick from Malaysia
Now that she is back to Sony, I guess it's the perfect time to release all her unreleased recorded songs from 1990 until 2000. For example, Where Are You Christmas, left off songs from Glitter (Turn You Loose), and I'm sure she has couple of left off songs from her debut album as well as from the epic trinity albums Music Box, Daydream and Butterfly. Just imagine how the vocals would be.

A retrospective album with extra bonus songs? (50,826) by Cgee54 from Usa
It would be smart for Mariah and Sony to cash on some of the material she didn't or couldn't release in her golden years as a retrospective album of some sort or release her debut album as a legacy version with extra songs and demos. Maybe even the first "Vision of love" video which was scrapped would be nice to see and then release a new studio album. I think she will be in a better place now that she moved back to Sony.

So's to Nikki, TheVoice and Abraham (50,825) by Baby from Dreamville...Where There's No Beginning & There is No End
Nikki, there is no need to apologise, especially over someone like Thirsty. He had a lot of people fooled. Even though I never warmed up to him, I wanted to believe he was making Mariah happy. He reminds me of that woman, Heather Mills, who married Paul McCartney and tried to take him for all he was worth not four years later. I remember watching a documentary featuring Paul and Heather and knowing just from the look on Mick Fleetwood's face during his "positive" commentary on Heather, that he meant just the opposite of what he was saying on camera: he didn't believe it was genuine at all. I bet there were also people in Mariah's camp who figured out Nick from the get-go too. But I guess no one thought she'd marry him so quickly without warning. At least Mariah was smart enough to have a prenup even in her temporary insanity. It's like that you all, people will take advantage of your heart whether you're McCartney, MJ or Mariah. Meanwhile, Thirsty is on Instagram posting emo quotes and looking like twelve years a slave. Karma. It's like that you all.

Back to Sony (50,824) by NHYTG from nyc
I hope Mariah's return to Sony will mark the end of a messy era, looking back it's clear that Mariah and Universal haven't been a great combination for whatever reason. After all Mariah has had only one huge successalbum with Universal. I hope rejoining Sony will bring back (some of) the grandeur of 1990-1999. She deserves to get back her relevancy, people's respect and recognition of her talents as a singer and songwriter.

This is the kind of headline she needed. She was out and about looking stunning and now this announcemen. I think she's gearing up for a huge comeback.
