Of course Meteorite should definitely be included in that concert set list somewhere. Give me your opinions on where it should be and if it should even be part.

I second your post, completely agree with your list. I would have added I Still Believe (Pure Imagination Remix) to it as well because as with My All/Stay Awhile it was an entirely new song with that beautiful dreamy vibe and has absolutely nothing in common with the original except the title.

Fav albums / songs / videos and opinions / ideas / overall (45,761) by Haiji Toro from USA
So I've been a fan of this site since the beginning and a Mariah listener since VOL and I will continue listening no matter what. Her talents are far from comparable or gone unnoticed. I will always support my girl Mariah. Top 5 videos:
Anytime You Need A Friend (Remix)
O Holy Night
All I Want For Christmas (60's version)
The Roof
My All/Stay Awhile
Opinions: I feel Mariah is at a different stage in her life and career so she cannot still be the same person she used to be. She might have issues with the company or her husband but that's something she's dealing with at this point, which could be reasons for how this last album turned out. It's definitely one of her best. An underrated album I think, Glitter. I love her live versions of songs, she always brings something different to the songs. I don't care if she does lip all or parts, it's still her singing. Sometimes we have days when we can't produce a certain amount of vocal ability. I love the fact that she uses big words in her lyrics, it's always helped me learn a new word and extended my vocabulary lol as silly as it sounds, it's true. I started writing poetry and then songs at 17 imagining I was writing for her. I also used big words lol. I can't remember ever answering questions about my childhood or past without having to think of what Mariah album was out that year lol she has been in my life since I was 10 and with every album she has helped me cope with what I've been through. Even at such a young age dealing with some sort of pain but somehow a Mariah song comforted the soul. Even now at 32, Faded and Heavenly seem to still hit the spot. She's a true inspiration to me. I hope she continues to release music for our "eardrums".
Ideas: Rerelease MIAMTEC with new songs and videos. Release a rare and unreleased album. An unplugged or acoustic video album, the long awaited Christmas movie, a children's album. Write, produce, direct and act in a children's movie. A covers album, a triple deluxe 3 disc album with different themes (Hip Hop / Dance / Adult Contemporary). Commercials for her products playing her music, a new and different concept and set list for her concert. My dream concert set list:
You Don't Know What To Do
Heartbreaker (Remix)/If You Should Ever Feel Lonely
Shake It Off
Thirsty
Long Ago
Prisoner
Standing O
H.A.T.E.U. (Remix)

Top 10 MC remixes (45,760) by IheartMC from USA
No one does remixes like our girl, so here are my 10 fave Mariah remixes:
1. My all stay awhile (This remix is timeless.)
2. Thank God I found you/Make it last (One of my faves and I love how she blended both tracks making it one of her best remixes/covers ever.)
3. Heartbreaker/if you should ever be lonely (If you should ever be lonely alone makes this remix worthy.)
4. Anytime you need a friend C&C remix (The original was epic but this remix took it up another notch.)
5. I still believe Morales mix/Pure imagination (I love both versions so much better and she recorded some new vocals.)
6. We belong together DJ Clue mix (Classic remix, she is made for these types of records.)
7. Fantasy feat ODB/Morales Mix (Both are amazing in my book, she is truly the queen of the remix.)
8. The one So So Def mix (Underlooked gem, the hook alone is worthy.)
9. Dreamlover Def Morales mix (Such a great dancing track and completely different from the original.)
10. Always be my baby So So Def Mix (I find myself listening to this often now.)
Honorable mention: Fly Away (Butterfly Reprise) (Def 'B' Fly Mix), Triumphant Vintage remix, Honey Classic mix/So So Def, Through The Rain HQ2, Someday New Jack Swing, There's Got To Be A Way 7 swing, Emotions 12 Club mix (infectious).

Shelly (45,759) by Abraham from USA
I am completely with you on Mariah doing a whole worship/gospel album. I have been wanting this from her for awhile now. I'd also like for her to record at least one jazz type song. Maybe similar to "The wind". Just piano and vocals. A duets album would be great too. The artists I'd like Mariah to record with would be George Michael (for sure), Stevie Wonder, Diana Ross, Lionel Richie, John Legend, and maybe R. Kelly, just to name a few. The song "I'm your angel" with Celine Dion should have been sung with Mariah. It's her type of song, and I think she could have sung it better. Nothing against Celine. I just think Mariah has always had a far better voice. Even though some of the artists who I listed are older now, I'd still want them to give it their all. I'm sure they like Mariah.

Top 10 MC Sad Love songs (R&B/Mid-Tempos) (45,758) by IheartMC from USA
I am in a Mariah state of mind so why not promote some more of her amazing and often overlooked material. The following songs are some of my fave sad love songs whether in mid-tempo or ballad form.
1. Roof (One of my all time fave Mariah joints, I love the dark and moody vibe and the storytelling.)
2. Breakdown (Gem of a song right here.)
3. Crybaby (I love how she experimented on this record to great results.)
4. Always be my baby (Classic Mariah and began a trend of hit songs from her and JD.)
5. We belong together (Classic and a champion song.)
6. You're Mine (Eternal) (I had to select this song as Mariah actually named me on her FB a runner up for my duet with her during a contest with Fusic.com.)
7. For The Record (I mean what fan doesn't love this song.)
8. Faded (I can't get enough of this amazing new track.)
9. H.A.T.E.U. (Such a great hook and relatable lyrics, try getting this hook out of your head.)
10. Don't forget about us (Classic heartbreak record about our first love.)
11. Can't let go (So hard not to include this in any of her lists as this is one of her best songs from her catalogue.)
Honorable mention: So Lonely (Part II), Thanx 4 Nothin, Mine Again, Don't Forget About Us, Circles, Inseparable, Angels Cry (she has way too many amazing songs to narrow down).

Top 10 Hip Hop Mariah Carey bangers (45,757) by this_is_qhm from the Philippines
Arranging them in order would take me all day, so mine are:
Fantasy (Remix) - The first will always be her best.
Dedicated - This one's her most successful thug-love track since 1995, and "oh baby, you know" it.
Honey - Her best song of the summer.
So Lonely (One And Only Pt. II) - Sleek, slinky, and incredibly club-ready.
Migrate - Who says Mariah and autotune won't work?
Ribbon - Such a lazy yet dreamy melody.
Heartbreaker - Layering 3 hooks towards the end of it is just pure genius.
It's Like That - The hit that ushered in an epic era.
I'll Be Lovin' U Long Time (Remix) - It's a crime this didn't fare well at the charts.
Breakdown - Still one of the top highlights of her entire career.
Crybaby - So fly because it sounds so appropriately sly.
Honorable mentions:
Cruise Control - Mimi pon de mic with Jamaican patois.
Up Out My Face (Remix) - Before all the drama, Nicki did make this track much more interesting.
Thirsty - Mariah does trap, matches the song's message perfectly.
Side Effects - Love the menacing production against uber-personal lyrics. This predates Rihanna's similarly dark Rated R album.

Re: Tour by TJ from Norway (45,756) by MimiLamb from Germany
How do you know what the setlist for the tour is going to be? Is it known already? Give the woman a break before you start complaining without knowing. Second I personally don't care if the setlist has songs from 1990 until now as long as she tours WW and I'm able to see her in concert again. It's not like she does a tour every year.

Duets (45,755) by Dove from USA
It would be amazing if Mariah did a duets album with Paul McCartney or Brian Wilson. Imagine what type of songs they could crank out; those guys are musical geniuses. I also really love Jason Mraz because his songs have a happy, positive vibe that makes me feel present in the moment and thankful to be alive. That pure blissful energy matched with Mariah's voice and melodies would be beautiful. Another crazy wish of mine is for Mariah to do an entire worship album. I know it probably won't happen because it's not politically correct but when I listen to Kari Jobe's Majestic it improves my whole day. I long for an album from Mariah that is fully: present, uplifting, deep, positive, and thankful. Because that's the mind set I want to have. Of course I appreciate the art she does give us, these are just wishes. Regarding the hip hop club bangers, you guys made great lists of songs I had forgotten about, thanks.

Top 10 Hip Hop Mariah Carey bangers (45,754) by R&B Junkie from Poland
Here's my list of Mariah's best hip hop soul tracks:
1. Fantasy (Remix) - Everything is perfect in this true R&B diamond.
2. The Roof - I love her way of singing here, so melodic yet still hip-hoppy. And the fact that she sampled Mobb Deep's "Shook Ones" brings another crazy taste into that one.
3. If We - I don't mind Mariah being a featured artist on her own tracks as long as the rap parts match the song as they could've been co-written or spiritualized by Mariah. Nate Dogg's verse here is good example of that spirit.
4. Crybaby - Mariah sounds like a female version of Snoop, if there was an Oscar award for "best acting-like-another-artist" in a positive way, she would have won it for her verses, but the outro adlibs are classic MC.
5. Breakdown - MC's BTNH staccatto style. I dig it 100%.
6. Dedicated - The 2014 classic. Sounds like from 2004, 1994, 2024 and 2034. This song will never get old.
7. Sweetheart - I don't know why, but I have to include this one on the list. Hip hop ballad, that's what it is.
8. Don't Stop - I like the idea about this song, plus I love its funky climate. Not so much of MC less than in If We, but I can't stop listening to it when I'm enormously happy.
9. My All/Stay Awhile - On of the real remixes, completely new song with new verses added. I like its raw production and the vocals, don't they sound like they were recorded during a party?
10. Shake It Off - The general climate of this hit single smells so hip hop. The beat, the rhythm, the vocals.

Don't view Katy's video (45,753) by John from USA
I would just caution everyone from buying into this controversy Katy has concocted. This is nothing more than just a trick to get views for her video as they now do count into Billboard's Hot 100 charts. It also generates more buzz for her track, and more buzz usually translates to more sales. I for one, will never view this video. Katy will be gone in another 2 years or so anyway, trust.

Katy Perry (45,752) by George Golden from UK
So Katy Perry feels she has reached the level where she can mock a legend like Mariah Carey. With her bogus facebook likes and bogus twitter followers, she feels she is on top. How many albums has she sold? Does she stand out with a unique voice? Does she have a catalouge like Mariah? She is not on Mariah's level so she should just take several seats.

- Bringing On the Heartbreak
- Open Arms
- The Beautiful Ones

Top 10 Hip Hop Mariah Carey bangers (45,749) by IheartMC from USA
I have been on a Mariah craze lately and it's been with mainly her hip hop infused pop/r&B tracks. But that always happens to me because at the same token next week I may want to just listen to her ballad side lol. However this is my list of top 10 hip hop laced bangers from our MC although it's very to narrow down a list when talking MC songs. Here it goes:
1. My All Stay Awhile Remix (classic, this may be my fave of all time)
2. Fantasy Bad Boy Remix (classic and it began a trend)
3. Thirsty (loving this track lately and it is her latest banger)
4. Obsessed (fun and catchy and the beat knocks)
5. We Belong Together remix (classic)
6. Migrate (criminally underrated and still mad it wasn't given the single treatment)
7. Don't Forget About Us (DJ Clue Remix) (hot remix- underrated much)
8. Side Effects (lyrics, beat and sick melody all make this a gem)
9. I'll Be Loving You Long Time (this should have been the second single from E=MC2, such an overlooked hot beat and hook)
10. I Know What You Want (I mean although it was only a hook feature Mariah made that the hot song it is)
11. #Beautiful DJ Mustard Remix (had to incude this hot remix, I know it's the 11th but I told you this is "impossible" lol)
Honorable mention: You Don't Know What To Do (Feat. Wale). Please let me know what are you fave MC hip hop laced bangers.

Loyal lamb: fave covers (45,748) by IheartMC from USA
What I love about Mariah is that it is always difficult to have just a top 5 of fave Mariah songs let alone just 5 covers. Her music is the type that can even rotate and have you change up your faves constantly. She is that good a singer/songwriter. Btw not including the Christmas covers because we all know she slayed Oh Holy Night. I call it the new standard. Top 6 (not easy) lol:
1. Endless Love
2. Against All Odds
3. Sweetheart
4. I'll Be There
5. Beautiful Ones
6. Without You
Honorable mention: I Want To Know What Love Is (I love the toned down vocals and the amazing climax), such an underrated gem. This woman is magic. Here's hoping we can get a Mariah returning to form with her live showings and promotion of this rocking new album Me. I AmMariah.

Relevancy (45,747) by B from USA
Mariah's talent and marriage to Nick makes her relevant. If the press wasn't talking about her then I'd be worried.

Covers (45,746) by B from USA
My All/Stay Awhile
Without You
Somwhere Over The Rainbow
Sweetheart
I Still Believe
I think she originally recoreded DYKWYGT for #1's.

TJ (45,745) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
Does it always start with Heartbreaker? If I remember correctly for TAOM it started with ILT and ended with WBT and when she walked out, Butterfly was played as outro. Not the whole song. And Butterfly tour started with Emotions. But it always ends with the Butterfly outro. I haven't seen any world tour personally, I just saw the videos of the tour. Anyways but you are right, it would be nice to have her change up the routine. Especially now since she has 3 albums which were not performed live much. She can let go of some of the older songs for now. I think one reason she doesn't let go of those songs in the set list is because she doesn't want to disappoint the fans who love the Mariah classics like she mentioned in a few interviews when talking about choosing set lists. However she has a lot of new material and it would be nice if those are given more priority since adding older songs leaves limited spots for newer ones.

4. Make It Last/Thank God I Found You (without Nas, the long version)
3. Without You
2. My All/Stay Awhile
1. Against All Odds
Favorite songs:
5. Outside

3. Right To Dream
2. My All
1. Butterfly

Re: Tour (45,743) by TJ from Norway
I'm afraid that the new tour will include a lot of the old formula. Heartbreaker first and Butterfly at the end. I would love a show with less predictable choices.

Covers / Katy Perry (45,741) by PJW from The U.K.
Sweetheart is my favourite cover, hands down. As a kid I always loved the Rainy Davis version but her vocals were never quite as good as that beat so it was like all my Christmas' had come at once when Mariah re-did it. It's R'n'B perfection. The Beautiful Ones took me a long time to come around to as I'm a Purple Rain fanatic, especially that song live, and Sisqo really winds me up sometimes but now I hear it completely differently. It's gorgeous. I don't understand the hate IWKWLI gets sometimes? I adore it, especially coming off the end of that fantastic sequence starting with The Impossible. It may not be long enough but I don't see that as a reason to dislike a song. Her vocals are beautifully restrained and the whole thing sounds quite delicate to me, fragile in the prettiest of ways. R.e. Katy Perry, I get why there could be a dig buried in there but really, it's Katy Perry. Who's fussed? As for the drag queen thing, you all know that Mariah calls herself a drag queen, right?

Tour (45,740) by tadatorao from japan
She has three albums to catch up with for the next tour, namely E=MC2, MOAIA, MIAMTEC. Just wondering which song she will choose to be the opening track for the next tour. Meteorite?

Duets album (45,739) by this_is_qhm from the Philippines
Lady GaGa has recently been toning down her image in prepartion for the release of her duet album with Tony Bennett. It's nice to see her tap into her jazz side, especially since she's predominantly known as an electronic artist. In fairness, her voice does fit well with the genre. Not as well as Mariah's, though. Will Mariah ever release a duets album? I personally wouldn't mind, even if it's just with one partner for the whole album or with a gaggle of other artists. If you were to choose artists (male or female) you dream of her to do a duet with on an official recording, who will be your top 3? Mine would be:
3) Celine Dion
2) Michael Buble
1) Stevie Wonder
