Benny Medina as manager (44,523) by JJ from Good Times from USA Man, he is promoting/managing JLo's brand really well. He probably got her that award on Billboard awards by advocating for her. She is on many shows, gave a free concert that was talked about by everyone and is scheduled to be on Wendy Williams. I know it sounds lame, but a lot of people watch Wendy, and I'm sure they buy music. He is making people want to like JLo and making her look relevant. Well, I'm speculating here, I will admit that I wish MC had Benny and kept JD as what he does best, a good friend and producer. And of course I will also give JLo credit for her relatable personality. Also, the album has grown on me. I don't think Thirsty would be a good single. I like You Don't Know and the Stevie song. Singles (44,522) by B from USA Meteorite, YDKWTD, Make It Look Good, Dedicated, Money, and Faded. Meteorite, You Don't Know What To Do, and Make It Look Good are uptempo throwback feel good records. Dedicated, Money, and Faded are tailor made for R&B radio. These should have been the singles along with #Beautiful. I love You're Mine, it's a beautiful ballad with some of her best lyrics in years but ballads haven't been faring to well on radio. (Friday 6 June 2014; 3:46)

Myles (44,520) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter Lol yes another mystery added to the the long list of other mysteries surrounding this album. You are absolutely right about the album. It is great and there were 3 songs that I didn't really like during the first listen but I like and appreciate them now. There is nothing wrong with the album, what's wrong is with the promotion. Only hard core lambs that actually bother checking every Mariah fan page to see what she is up to know about this album. Can we blame the GP for not buying the album? Nope, because how would they even know about it? There is almost zero promotion. Whatever hype #Beautiful created died down and people probably thought Mariah just shelved the album. So basically the low sales numbers can be blamed on the lack of promotions. Makes me sad. (Friday 6 June 2014; 1:52)

That rumor Christmas duet (44,519) by Isabelle from USA The Broadway World article is not true. They just copied and pasted an article from a online troll that bashes Mariah, Lady Gaga, and other artists. Mariah is not working with the character from Frozen nor working on a possible third Christmas album. Buzzfeed wrote an expose about that troll. This is a reason why journalism and media are becoming lazy and not checking their sources to see if they are reliable. (Friday 6 June 2014; 0:52)

And Wale, I am not sure, because she said in another interview that the collaborator is someone she worked with before but it wasn't released. That's where JT and the Yours remix arguements came in. But like you are right, maybe it was Wale, or maybe by collaborator she meant a writer or producer? Or she just shelved the song for a future album. We'll never know. Mariah has been particularly "elusive" lately lol. And as for Stevie, I don't think he was on the track, because Mariah said that he only plays the harmonica, and also joked about how she managed to get Stevie in the studio and yet did not get him to sing. My boyfriend is not a "lamb" per se but he loves the album. Those numbers scare me because I bought 4 copies myself and I know a lot of people who also bought multiple copies. Well she said there is a surprise collabo that she can't mention yet in the Billboard interview and that was months after YME was released. Plus the Mary J Blige and R Kelly thing, everyone already know since 2010. So that's why I was confused. Every single collaborator on the album was someone we already knew about. Well it hasn't been confirmed by Mariah, but I first read about it in someone's post on this site and then Mariah Daily Journal had a post about a possible video shoot of YDKWTD being shot (it's the 4th or 5th post from the top dated 3rd June). There are dancers involved so I am hoping it will atleast be a little elaborate and grand compared to her last to videos. Those videos kind of did not do justice to the song. I was especially a little upset with YME's video because she went to such a beautiful location and yet did not make good use of it. I was more pissed off when I saw the remix video was just an extension of the original. They also didn't have any scenes of both MC and Trey together. I know they couldn't get trey to the location but they could have done some additional shots in NY. Anyways let's just hope this video is great and gives the album the much needed push. Eventhough the album debuted at #3, it's not great news for MC because there are articles already going on highlighting how its one of her lowest selling album, which sucks because this album is actually a master piece. Plus it is falling in the iTunes charts fast, if enough boost is not given to the album while it's still hot and fresh, people will not bother with it later. As for your album cover remake, it was awesome. I also liked the little "the art of being fabulous" title lol. (Thursday 5 June 2014; 20:43)

Similarities (44,508) by Danny Cedar from uk "Chanteuse" reminds me of so many of Mariah's earlier work, which I think are little references. Cry reminds me of something from her first album, e. g. Vanishing. The arrangement and the very end reminds me of Butterfly when she sings "cry". The beat of Faded reminds me of Inseperable. Make It Look Good, Your Girl the way she sings it. Camoflauge, The Wind mainly the arrangement and vocals. Thirsty, Migrate, YDKWTD, I'm That Thick. Anyone else notice any similarties? Whether intentinal or not, it's very much down to the individual. No single (44,503) by Martyn from England, UK I hate to be negative, but basically I don't think we'll get another single. Mariah has fulfilled her contract with Def Jam. Why would they spend money on a single release/video when the album has sold so badly and had so many poorly charting singles? Def Jam don't care about Mariah, and quite frankly, I'm happy the contract is over. At least she left on a high. The sales may not be great, but we all know this is her best album in years. Me I am amazed (44,502) by Jeremey Carey from United States I'm not stressing over the charts. I paid for my copies of the album. I did what I was supposed to do as a loyal lamb who loves the music. I just wanted to say I think Mariah is so amazing for her ability to make me slowly fall in love with certain songs I didn't like when I first heard them. When I first heard One More Try, I didn't like it, but now I love it because of her. Mariah is purely amazing for her ability to recreate music and take it to totally different level. For the record, The Elusive Chanteuse soar At #1 on the Soundscan R&B/Hip-Hop US album chart, #3 On Billboard 200 album chart, #1 on the iTunes pop chart in 33 countries including the US. Which marks her 15th top 5 album. So for those who think that the album is flop, please reconsider again your commentary here, even though her first week sales is low "only in the US. I think the honeymoon phase is over. It's sad because they have children. Part of me hopes they can work it out and another part of me thinks their differences are too vast to be bridged. She's private, he's not. She has class, he doesn't. Maybe it's the age difference. Who knows? I wish her the best. Unless some of these lyrics are about Derek, Luis, and Mark Sudak. Mariah's interview with ML was actually for me one of her better interviews in quite some time. Also every relationship goes through its series of trials and tribulations but I don't think NC and MC are divorcing. I think people are just reading things the wrong way.
