Album excitement (40,716) by CMC from NY,NY One more thing about the Whitney collab for me. I'm extremely excited and open to the idea and agree it would have to be a pre Mariah beginning of Whitney's career record, when I'm sure Mariah was admiring her as an inspiring singer. Although it should not be first single on 2/14 or maybe not even a single, just a buzz for the album would help. I'm looking for uptempos and classic Motown feel. Fresh new production and ideas, killer hooks and classic Mariah. I feel she will bring it she knows this is a crucial album almost 5 years in the making. Chart success is a plus and if it's a killer album I feel Mariah will get the attention. Now is a great time to release it as it seems there are no other divas on the horizon to release. Learned better than to count on Mariah's tentative "late spring" release announcement though. Waiting for a killer single at this point. (Wednesday 22 January 2014; 22:45)

Mariah's next masterpiece (40,714) by Bobby A from United States I really have this gut feeling that one of Mariah's cover will be "Saturday Love" by Cherelle and Alexander. It was written and produced by Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis. Now it makes sense why Maxwell was so excited by doing a song with Mariah and why Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis are involved with the duet. Mariah is looking foward to collaboration with Young Jezzy produced by Mike Will Made It because Island Def Jam didn't release "Side Effects" as a single back 2006. As far as the album we should have production from the following producers: Hitboy (3 songs), Rodney Jerkins (2 songs), Walter Aftansieff (1 song), The Dream (2 songs), Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis (1 song), James "Big Jim" Wright (2 songs), Mike Will Made It (1 song), Q-Tip (1 song) (Jermaine Dupri) (3 songs), Bryan-Michael Cox (1 song), Kirk Franklin or PJ Morton (1 song), Miguel and Happy Perez (1 song) and Boi 1da (1 song) and hopefully a new song by DJ Camper or Babyface with features from Miguel, R. Kelly, Stevie Wonder, Nas, Wale, Young Jezzy, and Maxwell. This is going to be her best album of her career. What do you Lambs or Lambilies think about my predictions? New album (40,711) by Joachim Agerup Løkkevik from Norway I can't explain how much I look forward to this new album. And I think it's a certainty that she will put another song out on the 14th of February. I hope the remake wil be something up temo, not a ballad that she has tried lately. The music scene now is not that much about ballads. I hope the whole album will be packed with up tempo songs. Even though Mariah herself says she will put out the new album in late spring, I don't dare to take it as a certainty, I believe it when I see (hear) it. (Wednesday 22 January 2014; 12:46)

Whitney cover (40,708) by Trish from USA I really hope there's no Whitney cover. Their tones are too similar for Mariah to really do anything different with a Whitney song. It might sound harsh but I hate it when people try to cover Mariah (because they just don't compare!) so I imagine a Whitney fan would feel the same. I would rather hear a remake of an old Motown hit (Smokey Robinson song maybe?). I think that would fit nicely with the old school sound of Beautiful and The Art Of Letting Go that I hope is constant throughout the album. (Wednesday 22 January 2014; 9:47)

Possible covers (40,705) by 123 from USA I hope one of the covers ends up being Lullaby Of Birdland. I need a jazz album from Mariah, or at least a few tracks. The only Whitney song I would be interested in hearing Mariah sing is I Will Always Love You, just to hear how she would sound on it and what direction she would take. I do like the idea someone had of having it be another duet with them two, maybe Mariah replacing one of Whitney’s verses and chorus. Maybe Exhale? If I had my choice, I would like Mariah to redo Lyeoka Simply Falling. I think it's cool that the UK fans are getting together. I wonder if there is a gathering for fans in Chicago? Mariah has mentioned that Roe will be on the album so maybe Your Love Is My Love like Whitney and her daughter? I don't really like You Give Good Love To Me, it always bored me. So don't insult or come at my lady stating that her voice is far from what it used to be. Some fan you are. I say she sounds great. You have to realize and take into consideration that she's been singing for 23 years, hello. Mariah to me will always be and sound great. I don't care what anyone says. Cover (40,695) by clueey23 from USA I don't want a Whitney cover. Maybe a sample perhaps, but a whole Whitney song? I would something like she did with the Jodeci sample on "Impossible" or "Back in The Day" in "Candy Bling". But a whole WH song, I couldn't do it and I honestly think MC has way more respect for Whitney's legacy than to cover a whole song. Same thoughts with Minnie, maybe a subtle sample like she did on "I Wish You Only Knew" with the Denise Williams "Silly". Glad this is just all speculation and fun. (Tuesday 21 January 2014; 18:16)
