Re: Rachel (93,895) (93,899) by RibbonB from USA
She's still around just no longer employed by Mariah. Hasn't sold her out, or otherwise ratted on her.

Re: #1 on iTunes (93,897) (93,898) by Andrew from the United Kingdom
I'm a bit stunned that you dont think Ray of Light and Confessions on a Dancefloor aren't pretty amazing and important albums. Madonna is a tool but you can't deny those albums were good, surely.

Ah Bedtime Stories. The only decent album Madonna ever managed to cobble together. Bless her.

#1 on iTunes (93,896) by Joachim Agerup Løkkevik from Norway
Just read the Rolling Stone article, and had to check the iTunes album chart again. E=MC2 is at #11, still going strong. But more interesting, Madonna's "Bedtime Stories" is at #1, have Mariah's fans starting a trend where the fandoms are getting their artists a top of the charts? Are the Madonna fans jealous? I wonder.

What ever happened to Rachel? Her daughter sung on the Love Story introduction.

Re: E=MC2 vinyl (93,865) (93,894) by Joachim Agerup Løkkevik from Norway
I don't have TEOM on vinyl, but I have all the singles released from it on vinyl, I also have Merry Christmas and "Anytime You Need a Friend" C&C Music Factory and Soul Convention Remixes exclusive UK dj doublepack.

Re: E=MC2 (93,878) (93,893) by MusicfanJ from Germany
Should have been singles:
1. Migrate
2. Cruise Control
3. Side Effects
4. For the record (best song on the album, something new and at the same time pure Mariah)

Re: Mariah (93,887) (93,892) by Andrew from the United Kingdom
On Mariah's World (69,069)
"Wow wow wow. This show was beyond anything I could have imagine, it was so great. I loved the Stella moments so much, I truly do respect her much more than I did."

On knowing nothing about Islamic terrorism (82,757)
"Islamist is different from Islamism."

On songwriting apparently affecting the voice (85,407)
"Celine lips more than half of her shows. Also it must be easy to take care of your voice when you don't have to write/produce a song."

On Vegas residencies (or not) (85,422)
"Mariah is a leader while Celine is just a follower and a puppet. Name one single original thing she has done as an artist."

On inept clairvoyance (87,501)
"I sincerely doubt half of the people in this message board even bought the album."

On approximately 5 of Mariah's 90's albums (87,077)
"MIAM is better than half of her stuff from the 90s."

On not liking Jews (87,711)
"So you guys are mad over Saudi but didn't even talk once about Isreal. Hypocrisy."

On Mariah's lipping (87,889)
"She literally sings every song live, expect for a few high notes here and there."

On Whitney Houston's toxicology report "perhaps" being right:
"Her addiction to drugs was ... *perhaps* her downfall."

On the acting prowess of the leads in Glitter (90,769)
"A stronger male lead was needed."

On the directors of the world (90,805)
"Mariah is the greatest director I have ever seen."

On the Prime years not existing (91,126)
"The pregnancy gave her powers, she delivered in my humble opinion the best vocal eras in her career."

On Mariah being late:
"[E]verybody else what's too early."

And, finally, on those pesky Jews again (91,158)
"[M]y biggest critic in regards to her is her relationship with Israel."

You are not a reasonable source of information or a reliable witness for anything. You are a very young queen who has liked Mariah for about 6 years at most whereas most people here have liked her for a lifetime and are old and wise enough to assess things for how they actually are.

That was a nice way of saying: "You're an idiot kid." Sit down and shuddup.

Slipping Away (Physical Remix) (93,891) by Lafa from Sweden
Ask the stars in heaven, travel through space in this corny remix of Slipping Away. It's on repeat in my speakers. Be aware. You might meet Mariah.

New inspiration (93,890) by Bobby A from United States
Surely with this new talk about TEOM and E=MC2, [Mariah] is preparing a new album that will take us back to 2005 and 2008. I always felt she should have done more tracks with Danja and Mike Will Made It. It would be cool for MC to be number 1 this Christmas time again with something fresh.

Re: E=MC2 vinyl (93,884) (93,889) by Bobby A from United States
I understand. Some people are just not vinyl record collectors. I have all of MC's U.S. 12 inches plus some promo 12 inches. The full length albums I have are Glitter, Rainbow, Charmbraclet, Memoirs, and Caution. I am going to keep checking Ebay for reasonable priced TEOM and E=MC2 vinyls.

Mariah (93,887) by We are Lambily from USA
Nobody will last longer than Mariah, because as long as Christmas exists Mariah will as well. The industry biggest hit maker, the female artist with most 1s, 2 songs of the decade, 2 of the longest running 1s, 11 of the 600 biggest songs etc. "I got tired of naming all her achievements." The queen is here to stay and here to keep making the haters mad "especially those disguised as lambs".

Re: iTunes (93,819) (93,886) by enwar00 from usa
She's been in the game for 30 years now and is still popular enough to have decades old songs and albums top Billboard and random iTunes charts, and you're worried about her longevity? I don't get it.

Re: Last Kiss (93,873) (93,885) by enwar00 from usa
Side Effects and Love Story. I love that video too, super cute. They looked so young and in love, kind of sad now.

Re: E=MC2 vinyl (93,865) (93,884) by enwar00 from usa
The only Mariah vinyl I have is the Always Be My Baby 12" from 1996 because she didn't release the dance mixes on CD or cassette in the US and they used to play the dance mix on the radio every day and I was obsessed with it. Of course I had to find someone who had a record player and record it on cassette. Oh 90's. I'm still annoyed that they didn't include this mix on The Remixes. Actually I lied, I bought the Someday 12" a couple years ago from a random used record store I would drive passed every other week. It's somewhere, and I still don't have a record player.

Re: On a positive note (93,841) (93,882) by enwar00 from usa
I have to agree, I think Last Kiss is my least favorite on E=MC2. And all this talk about the album I guess I'll listen to it as I blast this board.

Re: E=MC2 (93,851) (93,878) by Lainsky from Philippines
Should have been singles for me from this album are:
1. Touch My Body - Correct first single for it sounds fresh.
2. Migrate - Already dented the chart, sounds fresh too.
3. For The Record - Timeless classic Mariah, could have been her third No.1 from this album and 20th overall.
4. Cruise Control - Again, fresh sound from Mariah, could have been her 4th and 21st No.1.
5-7 Bye Bye, IBLYLT (remix), ISIL

Re: Savage remix (93,874) (93,877) by Licia from USA
I keep seeing people raving about it on FB, but I haven't listened yet. Going to see if I get a chance tonight at work. I'm from Houston so I'm supposed to be going crazy because it's Beyonce, but no. I like some Beyonce songs, but I'm not a part of the crazy beyhive. I love Megan though. Lol.

Last Kiss or For the record depending on my mood.

Re: Last Kiss (93,873) (93,875) by Licia from USA
It was the only video that made sense that era even though it was a rehash of the Bye Bye video with certain scenes.
