Re: Limited edition / ticket purchase (85,263) (85,269) by B from USA
It was shared by Mariah on her social media accounts. The deluxe cover is the image used for the tour announcement of Mariah standing in front of the pink M.

Re: Limited edition of Caution (85,260) (85,268) by Andrew from UK
Agreed. It's decisions like this that make the last ten years so baffling. It's obvious to most sane people that that is a brilliant album cover. It could be iconic. And yet they opted for the contorted cartoon of her face? It must be the weed. It must be the E's. Whatever it is, so many oddball decisions. It's not to late to change it, surely. So I say petition for a change.

I got an email with it, you can pick a cd or download. I am getting 4 copies, 2 tickets for 2 different shows.

Re: Nick Cannon says Mimi had multiple miscarriages (85,242) (85,265) by Licia from USA
Aww that's so sad. Now it makes more sense as to why she stopped promo for E=MC2. People kept saying it was only because she fell in love, but in the past she was in love and she still promoted her work. Having multiple miscarriages would make me stop as well.

In the Zone. I could not for the life of me remember the name of the album cover the original Caution cover reminded me of. I knew it was a Britney Spears album though. You're killing me with the Avatar.

Limited edition / ticket purchase (85,263) by CMC from NY,NY
Where is anyone getting this idea of cd's gifted with purchase of concert ticket? Or the idea that the limited edition album cover with "M" on it is a Deluxe Version with bonus tracks. None of that info is found anywhere. There's no mention of it on Mariah's social media or her official website. I also purchased 4 tickets for Radio City this morning and I can confirm, along with my friend who also purchased, there is no CD gifted with purchase of tickets.

Still the songbird supreme (85,262) by We are Lambily from USA
Mariah is out her singing her debut songs better than ever, she is still singing with her 5 octave range. Even though someone here is obviously very miserable with their life, our queen isn't.
I can't imagine being that miserable to come to a fan messageboard everyday and hate on the one person you meant to hold down as a fan. Her progress day to day vocally on the Asian tour have been nothing but amazing.
The funniest thing is Mariah is still out her singing better than the most popular singer in the UK have right now.
There are multiple videos on YouTube where they put Adele and Mariah against each other. The queen will live on forever, her music will live on forever but the haters will rot and nobody will ever remember them.

Da Brat (85,261) by We are Lambily from USA
We all make mistakes and wrong choices and in the end we all face the consequences. Da Brat has been more loyal to Mariah then 99% of the people who has ever been in her life. Mariah loves her friend and if she ever did help her, we wouldn't find out.

Yes yes yes and yes. The limited edition cover is brilliant and so much better than Avatar 2 meets In The Zone.

I don't even care about the additional whatever that comes with it. I love that cover. That should have been the original album art.

Re: The Voice (85,250) (85,257) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
There was another clip where Kelly and Jennifer almost corner Blake and start singing the iconic intro to ABMB together. Seriously though, how is still there people who don't know this song, dahlin' I cannot fathom.

Re: The Voice (85,250) (85,256) by Andrew from UK
I think she is advising them all. The interview Mariah had about The Voice was thoughtful, non-flakey, didn't involve a lot of hair touching and it was interesting. My only concern here is that she'll be expected to sing and she is struggling within one octave. If she lips on The Voice it's game over.

Re: Brat bankruptcy (85,248) (85,255) by Andrew from UK
Da Brat is a violent thug who changed someone's life forever because she's a petulant, self-entitled madam. She owes that woman she assaulted that money. Should Mariah pay for it? Why should she? The victim deserves it, so it would be good for her. But Da Brat deserves no help. If she earns $9000 a month she should give the victim $8000 of it. But that would require morality and decency, not, naturally, virtues of violent thugs. Why is Mariah even still in contact with her? If anyone I knew smashed someone over the head with a bottle I would never speak to them again.

We will find out then. The article makes it seem like she's just helping Jhud. Either way I hope she sets a good example.

Re: ? (85,237) (85,253) by Andrew from UK
The world is no more "negative" than it has been in the past (whatever that means), that's just a platitude some [censored] might offer up to suggest people who have dissenting opinions are bad and should be denied platforms. The world is a safer, fairer more connected place than it has ever been. I would offer up this: the world is *dumb* enough as it is at the moment. This board should be a break from dumbness. I.e., people screaming like emotional [censored] that everything is just how they say it is, then crying even louder when people point out that it isn't.

Re: Album bundles (85,244) (85,252) by darrian liu from taiwan
I agree wholeheartedly. This team really isn't playing around. I actually love that they're going with the standard promotional plan, because it has the least risk and it's pretty much a tried-and-true formulas that has always worked. Album bundles? Check. Cover art reveal? Check. Promotional single? Check. A performance at a big awards show? Check. High profile TV appearances? Check. With Mariah's recent commercial failures, it's wise to just go with the traditional rollout instead of going with more unconventional album release strategies that would only work with artists with a great fanbase and support from the general public. The only thing I would wish is that they push The Distance into pop and urban radios and With You into AC radio (I think they did this already?). The Distance really is a great single, probably her best single since #Beautiful. And maybe book an appearance at the MTV EMAs to perform the song, or another award show, or daytime TV. Will she be offering tour ticket album bundles? That's the most effective album bundles ever. This era will be her most successful era since 2008/2009, I could feel it.

Re: Mariah Carey dragged into Da Brat's bankruptcy case (85,245) (85,251) by RibbonB from USA
This Rosie interview is classic and entertaining. In it at the 2:50 Mark she jokingly but seriously notes that she always feels financially insecure and with recessions nobody is safe, so can people not call every time they need five dollars. 8 million is a whole other level of bumbing. I love that interview, when Mimi was still open, fun, she certainly seemed happy then.

Re: The Voice (85,246) (85,250) by Shezz from Pk
That would be amazing if she advised them all. I wonder if it is only a one episode thing. Did anyone catch the recent Voice clip where two contestants sang ABMB (in a showdown or whatever it's called) and Blake friggin Shelton said he never heard that song before. All the other judges specially Adam Levine went off on him and he said that he doesn't really listen to Mariah Carey and has only heard her Christmas song. Now he deserves an "I don't know him".

Re: Album bundles (85,244) (85,249) by Shezz from Pk
Is Roc Nation responsible for this or Epic? I suppose it is a mix but Epic didn't push the previous stuff much plus M probably wasn't in the zone. Maybe Roc Nation is doing a lot because this is their first project with her? Is her current manager Melissa under Roc Nation?

I agree. Brat made that poor choice. Not JD, Mariah, or anyone else. I wouldn't be mad at them if they choose not to help.

I don't watch that one either. I don't think I could sit through a whole show with DJ Khaled screaming. Lol. I've heard that people enjoy The Four though.

Actually I read Mariah is the key advisor and will work with all four teams. I think this particular article mentioned Jennifer hudson's team because there's a clip of Mariah with Jennifer.

I find it incredible and unbelievable that Da Brat is unable to survive on nine thousand dollars a month. Live within your means like everyone else.
