Thank you for the advice.

I bought mine for September 5. You can use Ticketmaster. I had the Honey B. Fly Livepass, but tickets go on sale to the general public tomorrow. Assuming there are still Meet and Greets available, it is available as an add on when you check out. Be advised, though, it's $1000 in addition to the price of your ticket.

Daydream vs. TEOM (82,299) by Bobby A from United States
I remember when I first heard Daydream. I couldn't get enough of the whole album. And when I heard TEOM for the first time, it felt like Daydream II. Always my two favorite albums.

The endgame (82,298) by Andrew from UK
A final album called "Polarity" followed by a US tour of the album in every major city. Rest. Then a final international tour, every continent over two years. Finish at the O2 in London, of course. Then a Greatest Hits show, called "Songbird Supreme", in residency. But somewhere more intimate and classy and in NYC so she can live at home, like the Beacon. Book it for 3 years, 4 shows a week, converting to Christmas shows in the Decembers. Then bow out. Put on the Broadway musical workshopped and already performed off-Broadway, written with Mark Shaiman, during the residency in NYC. Not a Mariah musical but something new and original with a book by someone creative, a la Dear Evan Hansen or Everybody's Talking About Jamie. Transfer it to the West End. Receive flowers opening night with standing ovation and finally be satisfied with the global respect for writing abilities. Then... that's it. Job done. Retire. Write memoirs. Tour the book. Have a nice life. Legend saved.

Diminishing returns (82,296) by Matthew from USA
I think Mariah should focus on her album. She may not be anywhere near her vocal peak, but compared to most of the singers out there now (Hasley, Camilla, Rihanna, Taylor, Katy, etc.) she really doesn't need to be. I'm not saying those girls are bad singers, but they aren't doing anything vocally strenuous. Even Whitney at her lowest vocal point was able to put out My Love is Your Love. She just needs current hits with the current vocal. The problem is she keeps focusing on other things. And because there is nothing current, she has no choice but to bring out the old hits. The ones where she has to do the vocal equivalent of a triple axle followed by two somersaults, a pirouette and a back flip. And more often than not, this mother of two in her 40's, isn't able to do those flips the way she did in her 20's. So she gets publicly ridiculed and the cycle just repeats itself. The only way to break it is to get some current hits with current vocals. The only way to do that is to get serious about the album. Focusing on the tours might make money now, but it will be diminishing returns if she can't hit those old glory notes regularly. Mariah is beautiful and the body is in the right place. They need to capitalize on that pronto. Save the legacy tours for the Streisand years.

I like this. A throwback picture from 93 or 94. How beautiful. Compare this with the pics from the nightmare years with her ex-manager the witch. It's like heaven and hell. Good things are to come.

I have, it's brief to say the least. Great photo though. I wanted more but it was Stella's era. The drama around the event was a little shocking but once Mariah was in the room is was fine... but quick.

I would also like to buy a meet and greet ticket. For which show is it? Which website did you buy your ticket?

To lose $500 to someone to someone with $500m in 500 seconds. Or otherwise knows as "the most expensive selfie ever". However, I am sure it will be good.

I wish Migrate and Side Effects were released. They would have been huge bangers for that time. gahh so frustrating.

Merry Christmas era interview (82,289) by Billy from Greece
Does anyone remember the interview where Mariah discusses her vocals on the Merry Christmas album, saying that she was more free in her performances and many people thought that they were her best vocals to date? Thanks. Just in case anyone is wondering, I've found one where she touches on what I mentioned in my previous message, though I have another one in mind as well, but it's alright.

So I purchased a Meet and Greet with Mariah in September. Has anyone done one with her before? What should I expect/be prepared for?

Re: (82,272) (82,286) by Edward from USA
I was obviously being sarcastic. If Mariah named her album anything containing "The Soundtrack of My Life", I would join Stella in her lawsuit.

Re: Album? What album? (82,282) (82,285) by Musti from UK
I just think it's pointless to tour again with no new material, unless she's planning do a concept during her residency like focusing on one album, as someone else suggested. But even then, what's the point really? Even if she were to tour in support of a new album, she'd still only sing a handful of new songs, like she has done with most of her tours for nearly 2 decades. It'll be past hits galore no matter what. She might as well have something new to go along with it.

This photo should have been the No.1's to Infinity cover. She looks amazing. Finally a neck with no bling around it. It really does age her.

Re: Album? What album? (82,281) (82,282) by Andrew from UK
So people are pissed off if Mariah is choosing money over artistry by touring and not releasing a new record, and now RocNation is becoming a target for apparently "forcing" her to tour so they can make money? This is absurd. Mariah is likely touring to make herself as much money as possible before her career ends. From Stella's own foghorn she said she was hired to make Mariah money. If Mariah wanted to release an album and then tour in support of it she would simply do so. I personally think they understand a Greatest Hits set will sell more than a tour in support of an album nobody is convinced could sell well so they are going with that. It's frustrating for fans because it has become tedious to watch her stand still on stand on and lip-sync to the same old shite. But everyone should look at it this way: it stops her from making any more Christmas movies. Every cloud...

Re: Album? What album? (82,278) (82,281) by Musti from UK
Touring is definitely where the money is. But I wish she was touring in support of new material rather than past hits, which she has overdone since 2015. And it's not like she does much in terms of shaking up the setlist. Neither Vegas nor a few regionalised concerts are good platforms for a megastar to promote her new album, so I guess it's safe to say we won't be hearing anything new anytime soon. I don't mind her touring even when if she doesn't sing 100% live. For me it's about being in her majesty's presence, and the lay listener usually can't tell the difference between live/lipped. But I don't think there's much to be gained from all this excessive touring other than filling Roc Nation's pockets, as if she needs to prove her worth once again. She's only diluting her catalogue.

Re-release old albums (82,280) by Dove from United States
After the impending era, which will be massively successful, breaking many records (including The Beatles most #1 singles record), she could re-release her early work. The album and a DVD with a bunch of her best performances and interviews from that album cycle. And the best pictures. Maybe unreleased tracks and really amazing live versions of the songs on a separate CD. It could come in an album sleeve but instead of a record, there could be a few CDs of content. If they did this I hope they would include digital content too. Some artists sell it separately to make more money but it would be generous to include it with the physical copy. It could be released on the anniversary of that album. One or two per year and do it right. They could also sell merch from that album cycle, like replicas of the jewelry she wore, a little black hoodie (like she wears in Fantasy), the heart necklace she wears in her early videos, the butterfly ring, the two bracelets from the Glitter cover, the belly chain from Butterfly, the outfit from the Butterfly cover, the little black dress from her self titled album, the red hat from Glitter, the charm bracelet from Charmbracelet, the pink top from the Heartbreaker video, water glasses with pictures from the album cycle or coffee mugs with her quotes. Even the diamond necklaces she's been wearing recently. They'd have to be fake, like moissanite or something, but girls could wear them to their proms and weddings. But you have to make her "cool" to the youngsters. And sell her merch at the trendy stores. And Amazon for us older people. We don't like to pay for shipping. Once she solidifies her status as the best artist of all time, she could live off of her back catalog, not tour anymore, and just make studio albums when she feels like it. I hope she would keep doing the Christmas shows, though.

Re: Album? What album? (82,271) (82,278) by T from USA
Even though she doesn't have Stella she still has new management and they are going to expect her to make money. This is called show business for a reason. Roc Nation signed her and will work for her but she can't just bank on the money in her bank account. She has to make them some new money and unfortunately we are living in the era of touring not album sales. I truly only want one more album/era from Mariah then she can seal her legacy as a touring act as far as i'm concerned. (Had MIAM been a big success I would've been fine with that being her last CD tbh.)

The best attempts at duplicating WBT (by Mariah) (82,277) by Edouard from France
To me, the best WBT "babies" are (in order):
- Don't forget about us. Although I believe DFAU is its own thing. It's actually more of a ballad in the traditional sense of the word than WBT. Only the bridge of DFAU reminds us that Mariah changed the game with WBT. The rest of the song is very melismatic, in the veins of early Mariah ballads.
- Inseperable (I love, love it, so fresh, so intricated)
- You're mine eternal
- You're mine eternal (remix with Try songz)
- I stay in live (I never liked it, the loop never ends, and I find it boring, the live version at the AMAs is way better in terms of instrumentation in my opinion)
