It was robbed of the Christmas #1 spot back in 1994. I was devastated at the time and my brother still winds me up about East 17 every Christmas. It would be wonderful if she reached #1. AIWFCIY EP (79,907) by enwar00 from usa YouTube now has an AIWFCIY EP listed with a cute cover and it plays the original video, the audio of Joy to the World, and the Jermaine Dupri remix animated video (which I'm obsessed with). If there's possibly anyone that hasn't seen or heard that remix and video I would recommend checking it out. I feel like that remix layed dormant for so many years probably because of when it came out and is finally being resurrected again. Makes me happy because I have the Greatest Hits CD and of course that's the track that's so scratched up it skips. (Friday 15 December 2017; 23:13)

Mariah, today, is number two in the UK behind Ed Sheeran and Beyonce (wicked tune, difficult to beat). This was the position she reached when it was released in 1994. I still remember where I was when I found that news out. That she is number two again is totally bonkers. Brilliant. Never thought I’d see Mariah’s name that high again. What can I say? If a person was denied access to goods and services based upon a protected characteristic (and the Equality Act in the UK is probably one of the simplest, and at the same time, most comprehensive pieces of anti-discrimination legislation on Earth) they will be punished. Calling the accused "sick" is merely the sort of hate you probably proclaim to despise. I find it difficult to believe that the most popular arena in the world has staff that do not permit someone in merely based upon how they have dressed and from the reports of "it's with the police and I'm seeking legal advice" it is possible there's a lot more to it. She should actually sell them in different colors, I'm pretty sure all her female fans, and some very festive male lambs would buy them too. Read it today in an article very positive about Mariah's streaming record after 24 years. I wonder if she can break her own record this year and get even more streaming clicks on the Christmas days.
