The fact that she's doing that interview is a setup for ridicule. Why not do that interview with Gerardo Rivera while riding a reindeer yeah that'd be fun. If she was sitting upright or standing for the interview it wouldn't have mattered if she didn't know about the shooting prior to the interview because she wouldn't have looked so inappropriate. Mariah has lost touch with reality and she is living in her bubble and that's the awful truth. She looked swollen in the face and it wasn't a good look. Sorry I have to say it. Re: (78,633) (78,637) by Licia from USA I don't know who's really being truthful in this situation, but because of how crappy Mariah's current team is I take anything that they say with a grain of salt. They never admit to any of their mistakes. It's almost always someone else's fault. Either way the network or her team dropped the ball and put her in a messed up position that she wasn't prepared for. If her team knew before hand they should have said no to them asking her anything about it and canceled the interview. If the network told her team, they should have still verified that it was ok with her beforehand or canceled the interview all together. I doubt that she would have wanted to continue this interview sitting in front of a Christmas tree talking about this tragedy. (Tuesday 3 October 2017; 13:45)

I think this was done on purpose by Pier to put Mariah on the hot seat and in this social media age we live in this would've been New Years Eve all over again had her response been lacking. So unprofessional and distastefully done. She should have been informed maybe during a commercial break or something, not taken unawares like that. Shame on him. In my youth I collected every foreign release I could to make sure I had every remix just in case she ad-libbed a line differently. I downloaded all her concerts from torrent sites to make sure I had every different line. That dried up in later years but the thought of there being unreleased material out there is unbearable. A picture disc on vinyl is great, but I would have loved, as you say, all the remixes collected (and some new/previously unreleased ones, especially the Butterfly remixes), a retrospective from MC about each track and the composition etc., footage from the Butterfly tour (again, unreleased would be great), and any tracks that didn't make it out of the recording sessions alive. It's a great body of work and I wish she would have given it the attention and love it deserves. Maybe for the 25th. (Monday 2 October 2017; 22:03)

I just think an album as iconic as Butterfly deserves more than a picture disc for the 20th anniversary. Bonus tracks, Mariah commentary on the making of the album 20 years later. concert footage, Mariah talking about the impact of the album on her audience. The possibilities are endless, but it's like Team Mariah always choose to put forth the smallest amount of effort. It gets tiresome. Mariah is a legend, and you can't put forth a little actual work? Mariah and Vegas (78,626) by Tameka walker from United states First I would like to send my heart felt condolences to Las Vegas and Puerto Rico and everyone that has been going through something lately. Second I know people will try to make the interview with Mariah this morning somehow her fault. She was booked for the show ahead of time and had no knowledge that some crazy person was going off. But I know that if people could they would blame her for everything wrong in the world. I know as a fan she sometimes doesn't make the best decisions but she is not the blame for everything single thing that goes wrong in the world. I know people find it hard to believe but she isn't. I don't know where all this hate comes from, why people hate her. I myself love her beautiful voice and songwriting that are both legendary. (Monday 2 October 2017; 19:15)

Once the show found out what happened they should have ended the interview and someone should have told her what happened off air. If I was her manager and Piers or whoever at GMB asked me can we ask Mariah a few questions about the tragic happening in Vegas, I would say can we please reschedule. This is an inappropriate time.
