In the fullness of time, the message seemed genuine as they also mentioned "Lead the Way" which then appeared on Glitter. I'd love to hear it. The interview was planned to be about her upcoming tour to celebrate Butterfly (or perhaps for the Christmas shows?), hence her lying across a chaise lounge by a Christmas tree. Butterfly bonus tracks (78,614) by Edouard from France As much as I always love discovering bonus tracks and songs that did not make an album, I believe Butterfly has to stay what it is and shouldn't be subjected to any kind of rework, deluxe edition and whatnot. (78,611) by B from USA Mariah and Epic should release a collectors edition of Butterfly with a second disc containing all of the remixes and Lead The Way which was written during the Butterfly sessions, a DVD containing all of the music videos, the VH1 special Mariah filmed in a butterfly garden to promote the album, and Around the World. Mariah's Butterfly documentary (78,608) by B from USA I hope Mariah and her collaborators talk about the writing and recording of each song and they show Mariah performing each of the singles. I pray Stella, Brian, and Stella's children do not make appearances. As I am almost 40, vinyls have always been part of my life so I've always bought them. When I like an artist I buy the vinyl. If I like an artist I buy mp3, if I love the artist I buy the vinyl. Now with Butterfly vinyl on the way I am only missing Daydream (to expensive for me to purchase ) and MIAM that to my knowledge was never pressed on vinyl. As a huge Janet fan, I was in tears listening to them breaking down their creative process. It shows and proves that Janet's vocal talent should not be underestimated. The woman knows intricate harmonies like the back of her hand and has a very good ear for what sounds great (didn't know the vocals for If was that complicated). She's definitely a genius at what she does. Weren't there plans for her and Mariah to collaborate around 2006-ish? I hope that materializes sometime in the future. My top 2 favorite female artists working together would just be divine, I probably wouldn't be able to handle it. And yeah, at 51, Janet can still give Beyoncé a run for her money and then some. Re: Butterfly saved my life (78,588) (78,602) by Terna from Nigeria Thanks for this post Eduoard, it's an amazing feeling words cannot fully describe hearing yours and others experiences with the Butterfly album and how you, I and millions of others connected to and still cherish and play that particular album. Mariah was hurting when she made that album, and I guess her healing came from its crafting and completion, she had a platform to be heard and the world her audience. But even she didn't fathom that in the process she was creating something bigger than her, that would heal so many others infinitely. (Friday 29 September 2017; 18:13)

I came out to my family and experienced the highs and lows of my first real love. Mariah's Magnum Opus quite literally may have saved my life, just by giving me the ability to sing through my pain.
