I always prefer the version of Fantasy (Bad Boy Mix) without the featuring of ODB, though I know most fans and Mariah herself always stick to the ODB version. Yes, the ODB version gave her many credits to bring Hip Hop to Pop, but it's somehow annoying to me right from the start.

Minnie Riperton's "Come to my garden" orchestra and all with a modern take on it maybe. Also an official Stevie Wonder's "You and I" on wax, just exactly how she sang it that night in her lower register. Pure bliss. Her voice is clearer and smoother now so I bet the results would be mind blowing.

I would like to see Mariah do "Like A Tattoo" or "Kiss of Life" by Sade. More so "Like A Tattoo" because it would be something totally different.

Yay, so happy to see another fan loving To The Floor. Now, you almost lost me when you said it was the best song on The Emancipation of Mimi but hey you do you. It's all good, lol.

Mariah is definitely a better singer over all, but Minnie was the only artist that could've given Mariah a run for her money on the whistle department. Her regular voice was just ok, but the woman could sustain and work those whistles like no other. I remember I used to believe Mariah was the only one who could hit whistle notes, until a friend played Minnie's "Memory Lane" for me, and I was like: wow. I know there are a few other artist who can hit those whistles and sustained them, but I haven't heard any of the enunciate while doing them, just Mariah.

Here are my thoughts Edward: 1. Baby One More Time (Britney Spears) - I can hear Mariah doing this one, but she'd need a new concept for the video. Mariah has already been a school girl hooker in a video. 2. Anaconda (Nicki Minaj) - This one is a no for me. Mariah may have the pipes, but she ain't buns hon. 3. Macarena (Los del Rio) - This one might work. Stella could be the background clown dancer. 4. Honeymoon Avenue (Ariana Grande) - I don't know this song. 5. Shake Your Bom Bom (Ricki Martin) - Again Mariah has no bom bom to shake so no.

There's a much better song by Minnie I'd live Mariah to do called "Reasons". It's got more of a punch to it and the sustained high notes throughout are up there with those from "Bliss". Plus Mariah is a better singer in general than Minnie so can really add more to the song. I'd also love for her to sing "The Impossible Dream".

I've always imagined Mariah singing these songs: 1. Baby One More Time (Britney Spears) 2. Anaconda (Nicki Minaj) 3. Macarena (Los del Rio) 4. Honeymoon Avenue (Ariana Grande) 5. Shake Your Bom Bom (Ricki Martin) I think it would bring Mariah lots of new fans, and keep her relevant as she is. It's all about thinking outside the box.

I'd love to hear her do How Can I Ease the Pain. That's a good one. I've always wanted her to remake Loving You by Minnie Ripperton. I heard that she never did this song because people kind of expected her to do it because of the whistle notes. If that's true I understand. It would still be nice to hear how she would sing it though. Although she's already semi did this song, I need a full version of her doing If Only You knew by Patti LaBelle. Is it weird that I'd like to hear what she could do with Memory by Barbra Streisand? I'm having another brain fart. I'll be back with more. Lol.

This old story is hilarious. I only listened to "Why You Mad" once. That is such a terrible remix, lol. I still love the intro to "Infinity" though. Let me put "Faded" on repeat right now. The funniest part is when her entourage got up and danced and gassed Mariah up about the remix after multiple listens. French Montana, Beiber and TI should be slapped for that wack collaboration.

Funny how some consider Boy (I Need You) a fan favorite when pretty much everyone here (except me and maybe 2 others) actually dislike it.

Songs you wish Mariah would do (75,119)

Anyone have any songs they would like to hear MC put her sound into? I was listening to Lisa Fischer today who I still adore and while we know "How Can I Ease The Pain" and her famous high notes in that one, I would love Mariah to do her song "Wildflower" or something like that. I know Mariah has songs similar lyrics wise, but if Mariah covered that without hopes of it being a single and just letting loose on that song I think it would be melodic heaven. I also would love to hear her do something by Sade. I think something sexy and smooth and just a song to relax and "chill" to would be amazing. I can't imagine what it must be like it be best friends to just friends with Mariah and getting the chance to hear her do even a few lines of some of these obscure songs. Unless MC still only listens to MC and therefore doesn't have other music to sing along to, or as we have seen in some online things, when she is asked to sing she replies "not today dahhling".

The question isn't whether she can produce great material, we all know she has it in her to do it. The question is will she do it? Is she in a space right now where she's 100% committed to putting out great music? LA should not have to be in the studio watching and forcing her to do what she always claims she loves to do. She should want to put out the best music but not because the record company or LA made her do it.

I love this version of #Beautiful, feels like a song that would be played by the campfire, while roasting marshmallows and singing underneath the stars. It also has this country vibe to it which complements Mariah's voice nicely.
