They don't outnumber the fans that see it for what it is nor the general public but they are there and there's more than a few. They think her stupid behavior, trashy dressing, and fake relationship with Tonka Toy is cute, and that her poor performances should be ignored, and that anything that goes wrong be blamed on everyone and their mama as long as it's not Mariah. They think that everyone else should think the same way also. On the other hand, it's hilarious because these are the same ones who will then turn around and constantly question why Mariah isn't respected, why everyone picks a part her performances and no one else's, and basically why the whole wide world is against her. We have every right to express disappointment in the person we have supported for over two, count 'em, two decades. I've been there since the beginning. But at the same time tell the other real fans who lost interest in her latest projects for "goats"? It should bother Mariah that her fan base is falling apart. Mariah from 10 years ago would wear this top and she would look cute in it. But now with the bigger boobs and more weight, it's just not a good look. Her boobs are practically falling out of the black top. The top itself is fine, but if she wants to wear things like this, she would need to try and go back to the figure and bust she had 10 years ago. Otherwise it's just a hot mess. Whatever happened to the trainer she had that made her do water aerobics and got her into the shape she was in for Touch My Body? The rise of YouTube, the downfall of Mimi (75,541) by T from USA We know Mariah has had self esteem issues her whole life. Anybody who would believe that they have a bad side off one comment clearly does. But she dealt with it and in the '90s she was younger (prettier) and there weren't as many uncontrolled photo opps. Now as an older Mariah (who is trying to stay young looking with questionable methods) and the ability to upload her image at any given time must be driving her self esteem issues through the roof. Think about it, in 1995 if she had a bad performance it wouldn't be everywhere the next minute. As social media started to really rise to the levels it is now Mariah's career started to falter. In correlation. I'm looking at you 2008. Blogs like Perez Hilton started to become the voice and Mariah was a hostage to public opinion. For someone like Madonna with a thicker skin we didn't see the effects right away, but for our sensitive Mariah it must've have been hell. She carried on anyway and still tweeted throughout 2009 but after 2011 when she had her twins, her body changed and she was now 41. I noticed a big difference. And after Rockerfeller tree lighting incident she stopped using her own social media altogether. I can only imagine the hateful things she read about herself on there. Now with the NYE debacle there is no chance for her to ever feel safe or comfortable performing. Her esteem is shot and she is too guarded. Which is now a perfect mix for someone like Stella to "protect" her. Mariah's star was born at a time before social media and YouTube, I think she's tried her best (and her talent has kept her around) but like many artists she has found it hard to transition to this new era. The post 2010 technological landscape. Like in the '80s when some acts couldn't continue because they couldn't transition to the new MTV music video age. I feel bad for Mariah in this regard, she was once the most beautiful singer on the scene. But she warned us in 2008: "If there's a camera up in here then it's gonna leave with me when I do. The dramatic entrances and exits are sometimes more about making that fan feel better. But some critical things are the die hards, who have become apathetic and or just tired of the antics. Number of fans don't relate to sales at all anymore, if ever. It's funny that on NC's newest vlog he said he quit IG because it was time consuming and made him no money. Perhaps Mariah and her teenage manager will finally come to that conclusion because the 12 year old fans have to get their older parents to buy their music and perfumes etc. Lol. I really don't get MW and the lies though, because that seems to have turned off a lot of people where even the die hards don't want to watch her actively make a fool of herself. That's why I said well at least he threw her a nice party (Butterfly MC event) before he left. Either way, I just thought LA Reid dropped some interesting tidbits. The world rejoice on that performance and I really felt sad for Mariah because it's unfair that she's not celebrated like this anymore but then again, it's also her fault because she let those fail live performances to happen. I wish she saw Celine's performance for her to take down notes because that's what you called great production. If I can describe Celine, it's not "amazing" anymore but rather a "strong work ethic". I thought it was very good and to me she took the schmaltz out of the song with her new voice and melody choices. Damaged is a strong word. [...] has changed, evolved, just like Mariah's. Mariah does have some say in it I'm sure because she was going to drop it at the end of the month that her tour was starting. I read somewhere that it was supposed to coincide with her tour. She would need a miracle to sell anything substantial with all the trashy shit she's been pulling left and right, not only music wise, but also image wise. She's definitely given us the middle finger, but Karma is a big fat bitch. Many of us fans who haven't left are just waiting for a glimpse of that Mariah we used to love to emerge, but it seems that it's never going to happen. As I said before, she's about to have a rude awakening. There's no way she could gain enough people to buy her upcoming music with this circus around. Everybody knows her relationship with Tanaka is fake. Everybody knows many lies were told on Mariah's World just for money. She'll see the fruits of her doings pretty soon. Mariah as sure as hell doesn't. Truth is they were never (all caps) real fans to begin with. And Mariah is still yet to disappoint musically, and until she does, I have absolutely no right to judge or even analyze her every move. Mariah has been in this business a long, long time and I believe in her and still trust her judgment. She's smart. Forget all that bickering and complaining about Stella. I personally don't have a problem with Stella. We're still yet to see her prove her worth by managing an album release, and era. She needs a major image overhaul. She needs a good marketing tactic, something Beyonce's team is really good at. She should take several notes on how Bey's team handles everything, from the visuals to the performances to the release of the album itself. Her last two album campaigns have been impeccable in execution. She also needs to back her reputation up with consistently good performances. If she wants to lip, lip away, but make sure to use new pre-recorded tracks instead rehashing the same old tired recordings from the 90's and 2005. For me her lyrics were never better than on the Butterfly album. (Also Daydream and Charmbracelet come close to it.) But the songs need time, I remember when I was almost disappointed after Daydream. I have to be in the mood too (for enjoying Butterfly.) What I love about it, that it still sounds new from the production. And "Whenever you call" is one of my favorite ballads. When she sings: "You can turn to me and cry, always understand that I, give you all I am inside" I swear, it's so hard to hold back tears, after listening that part. Only MC can do that. I believe that a woman's self-respect is not determined by the amount of skin she is showing and I don't mind if she wants to show skin. But the problem is the style of clothing she chooses to wear is really unflattering and weird-looking. The new black top looks super weird and doesn't flatter her in any way possible. I'm being redundant but hands down Idol era Mariah was slaying in every single way possible, fashion-wise. Mariah needs to go back to that era. (Monday 22 May 2017; 14:47)

When Mariah was at the camp in 95 or 96 she really touched my heart. She was so natural, humble and super sweet to the kids. You could tell it wasn't a show, it was real. I never saw a woman more adorable than her at that time. Mariah needs to go back to NY, I have a feeling that not only the circus is poison to her, also California is not her place. She should stay away from plastic/fake Hollywood. If the circus won't stop she is slowly but clearly destroying herself as an artist and more sadly as a person. Now it's not too late to change it.
