Re: Memories (74,555) (74,565) by Lexingz from Estonia
That is a good idea. I remember that moment. Was a great special that was.

Do you know what Carlos wrote? No. So you have no right to judge me.

Scientology (74,563) by Tijl from Belgium
The article on the business breakup between Packer and Ratner sheds new light on the end of the romance. With Tommy Davis as JP's wingman the outcome for Mariah could have been a lot more dramatic than it turned to be. Scientology is not to be messed with and as the wealthy woman she is, Mariah was an ideal victim. Unfortunately she joined a Russian cult. To be continued...

Lol, that's just Stella. And you are right, never ever would have thought she would do a silly reality show. Mimi has no where to go but up in her career now, I hope.

Carlos vs Andrew's messages (74,561) by Sheila from United States
I personally think they are both negative but Andrew's messages don't get censored as much, double-standard much?

Re: Mariah the songwriter (74,559) (74,560) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
Most of your posts are nonsense, so . Anyways would you rather people provide some ideas, which may or may not be picked up by Mariah. (Who knows? Did you ever think she'll do a reality show? A match.com ad? A GoW ad? No right? Things change.) Or would would rather people go back to criticizing her, taking jabs and all? No one is forcing her, nor can they force her to do something she doesn't want to but it's better that the board has something new to talk about and pitch in ideas for fun instead of the usual stuff.

This conversation is nonsense. Wanting Mariah to let others wright for her doesn't make any sense. She would never ever do that. I mean, come on guys.

Re: Mariah the songwriter (74,550) (74,558) by B from USA
Infinity was written by five people. Mariah probably wrote the verses and let the other four handle everything else.

Re: Nick appearing on Wendy Williams (74,553) (74,556) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
Ya she announced it and she said it after she did a small story on the Easter picture they posted. She said she thought it was cute and after celebrating with Mariah and Dembabies he went to visit his other kid on the same day and Wendy was like he seems like a really good father and she said his ads for St Jude's with the kids on his lap and all make her go "aaww". Haha I think we can be sure he'll be asked about Mariah, let's see how he handles it.

Memories (74,555) by MusicfanJ from Germany
Because of a tribute to Barbra Streisand I just found out that Mariah sung a snippet of "Memories, like the corners of my mind" from "The way we were" while she did the Homecoming Special in 99 right? I think it would be a great cover for her. She could make a Mariah ballad of it. Just dreaming.

Re: Happy Easter to Mimi and her family (74,548) (74,554) by MusicfanJ from Germany
That pic looks like a nightmare just because of the three people in the middle. Lol. Why Mariah are they around you all the time? So unnatural. I watched "Maleficent" yesterday, the dark fairy seemed very nice compared to Crustella. Hmm I'm giving up on this, I'll never understand it.

Nick appearing on Wendy Williams (74,553) by RibbonB from USA
Wow, I just heard that Nick will appear on Wendy Williams' show this coming Thursday. This should be very funny, or interesting anyway. Wendy seems to have warmed up to Nick over the years. She used to be very adversarial to Nick, as she is to a lot of celebrities. Can't wait to catch this clip later that day.

Yes it was great to see their Nanna Beth there with them. I thought it was so cute when they referred to her as that on that Christmas video a couple of years ago. Those kids have so much personality.

Re: LA Reid has no choice (74,535) (74,551) by T from USA
I don't know, she did way more promotion for MIAMTEC than she did for Memoirs if I remember correctly. For Memoirs she was so caught up in Precious and her new perfume. All the promo appearances were either pushed back and cancelled. Yes she had more singles that were released but none were really promoted heavily with the exception of Obsessed. For MIAMTEC, the promo actually started with American Idol and #Beautiful, then she went on to promote #B a lot. With YME she did tons of radio interviews and even appeared at the World Music Awards. She even lit up Times Square. That would be excellent promo imo for a new album, but first and foremost the songs have to connect to the people.

Yep, "acting so corny like fritos" stands up there as one of her greatest ever lyrics and there's absolutely no need for anyone else to step in.

So much for hoping they weren't there. Lol. Anyway I'm glad that Mariah and Nick's mom still seem to have a good relationship.

At a quick glance: "I think Bruno and The Smeezingtons would be excellent for a 1990's Mariah throwback songs" (74,542). "She should work with Miguel and Happy Perez" (74,440). "She should listen to Bruno Mars' Unorthodox Jukebox" (74,379). "She should collaborate with Frank Ocean, Miguel, and The Weekend" (74,368). "She needs to work with Bruno Mars and The Smeezingtons and Miguel" (73,521). Repetitive, am I? Lol. You put the B in banal, buddy.

Re: Happy Easter to Mimi and her family (74,539) (74,546) by RibbonB from USA
Stellar even went to the Potter's House Church with Mimi and Roc and Roe. So I know things are still tainted. I just hope Mimi isn't doubling down on the contrived drama, on the low this time. This is a time when even Mary J. Blige is tweeting curse tweets to her ex husband all the while promoting her forthcoming CD. These are "desperate" times for divas. Janet pops out a baby at fifty and files for divorce before introducing the cub to the public. "Promotion" is a long game these days, with lots of personal life drama at stake, or so it seems. But as for Mimi, at least she is going toward church diva instead of club diva, for the season at least. Lol. Oh now I am reading that MJB said her twitter got "hacked" that she didn't tweet those foul things about her ex. OK then.

Re: Mariah the songwriter (74,513) (74,545) by B from USA
Mariah doesn't need a cowriter for her lyrics, she writes her best lyrics she she writes alone. I don't care if she interpolates a sample or two into a song but she doesn't need several other cowriters like Crystal who like JD seems to be stuck creatively in the mid 2000's.

You're Mine (Eternal), Infinity, and I Don't have all charted. With better promotion and execution (and material) she could easily score another hit. Especially since it finally seems like LA and Epic have decided she's still a viable asset.

Re: Letting people write songs for Mariah (74,530) (74,542) by B from USA
I think Bruno and The Smeezingtons would be excellent for a 1990's Mariah throwback songs ala Someday. Or an epic ballad. When I Was Your Man is basically the male version of We Belong Together.

Re: LA Reid has no choice (74,531) (74,540) by B from USA
She needs the right promo not riding the subway in an evening gown or taking her children to the playground in a evening gown. She also needs to give straight forward answers when she's interviewed because she turns off a lot of people when she rambles.
