Re: I was born at night, not last night (75,925) (75,952) by 123 from USA
Mimi L and Ribbon B. Since Michael is being brought up I did some research and Michael's death was a pre-meditated murder for the insurance money and Sony catalog. AEG emails were released where they were abusing him and mistreating him. AEG President who admitted via email he slapped Michael, Michael's manager Dr Tohme Tohme, who was fired in March 09 because Michael didn't trust him, Dr Murray (the fall guy), and an old manager who worked for Michael during his early days with Sony who magically appeared right before his death. This video shows all the emails, video footage, and documents of this group of leeches actually planned his death. I wonder if Mariah knows this.

The Lifetime movie filmed from his security team's point of view was actually really good. I was expecting a horrible movie like the Whitney one but this one had all kinds of juicy details. Michael wasn't exactly broke, his finances were being controlled by the leeches. Remember that his card was not "declined", it was "not authorized". I kept forgetting the actor wasn't really Michael. He was that good. From Randy running into his gate and his father Joseph having to come check him. When Geraldo asked Michael in an interview which brother was top dog, Michael answered "Randy" and now I know why. The scene of him shooting the Jet cover showed a bunch of leeches around him, it made me think of Whitney's last days and Mariah's today. The movie made me want to watch more.

I did too but they actually interview people that were filmed during the time. Like the men that rescued the truck driver that was attacked and then hit with a brick. It's worth the watch even if you were around during that time.

Re: I'll do it for money, honey (75,920) (75,949) by Terna from Nigeria
I feel like like she's uninspired, make no mistake Mariah is still a hit machine. But it's not all about only the music anymore. Becoming a mother changed her, it's a greater love. Whitney said it to her on Oprah way back. Even Chaka Khan too went something along the lines of "it's gonna change her" I believe. Apparently they were right. She's just not as driven anymore, nor as eager as in her youth, and justifiably so look how much she's achieved, she's done it all (all caps). Mariah is music royalty, do you guys even realize that?

Re: Janet Netflix series (75,944) (75,948) by RibbonB from USA
You know I can get pretty shady. And stop with the D. Not B. But honestly, the write up about Janet's show is stellar, no pun intended. Even though it is based on divorce, the rest of it seems interesting, her in studio, planning for her tour and parenting. Crustella and team allowed so many tacky leaks, of even tackier themes and actors. The production itself was choppy and reshot to change the narrative vs. any real day to day reality. The stunts vs. music was a fail IMO. I also don't check for Janet Luke I to for Mariah, do all the fabrications of MW were so glaring and distasteful.

Re: Janet Netflix series (75,943) (75,947) by Edward from USA
I agree with you. And Netflix would rather close down than give Mariah an opportunity to direct anything they produce. I think Mariah should stick to exclusively sing and write. She's not even good at doing reality, lol. There's a scene on "How To Get Away With Murder" where Annalise Keating is shown taking off her wig and make up. I'm pretty sure Mariah would've cursed the hell out of E. had she been asked to be shown make-up and weave-less on MW. Lol.

Janet, by the way, is a good actress and has been involved in a lot of successful projects. I don't think she would engage in reality TV out of desperation.

At least you know that Netflix produces quality and classy product; they never create anything looks cheap, or produce anything that's not properly developed start to finish. This should have been the route MC went rather then going with E. Network.

Let's all get along indeed. Just lost a very very close colleague of mine in a freak accident and it just reinforced the fact even more that life is so not about what Mariah wants us to think about her life or who she's dating or whatever she's choosing to do with her's without harming anybody else. Live and let live and look for the good in people.

I would actually watch Janet's show and I bet it will be a much better production than MW. They do learn from Mimi's mistakes.

WTH is really going on? Now reports of Janet doing a Netflix series based on her pending divorce. Divorce has really become a commodity it seems.

OK it might be on YouTube in a week or so. Yes the parallels in their lives are so similar. I do hope that Mariah can break free soon. This whole collection of leeches, handler and enablers need the boot. Terrible.

No I didn't watch, but I lived through it. I remember Rodney King on the news like it was yesterday.

C'mon people let's stop making our lives so miserable by consistantly harassing, discriminating and insulting each other. Let's be intelligent and respectful. Thank you.

Thank you. Those mixes are awesome. My favorites would have to be Someday and the Emotions ones. The Versace on the Floor beat made You're Mine enjoyable. Never thought I'd say You're Mine was enjoyable. Lol.

Mariah Carey/Bruno Mars - Someday/Treasure (75,931) by 123 from USA
I love this. Mariah should just do an album full of songs that sound like they came from the Golden era of music and call it Throwbacks. This Mashup gives Someday a whole new life. Can't help but sing along. "You were so blind to let me go, you had it all but did not know. No one you'll find will ever be, closer to all your dreams than me." Growls included lol.

Just a thought (75,930) by T from USA
If she doesn't sound like her anymore. If she doesn't act like her anymore. If she doesn't work like her anymore. If she doesn't care like her anymore. If she doesn't talk like her anymore. If her face doesn't even look like her anymore. Is she still Mariah Carey anymore?

Ya it's only been a few days, well if you happen to come across any in the near future, do let me know. Michael and Mariah has so many parallels. Growing up poor, incredible voices and incredible artists, both paved the way for many newer artists, both full of insecurities (Navi was saying that MJ praised his dance moves and when Navi praised him back, MJ was like "Me? You really think so?", it's cute since MJ, probably the most iconic entertainer in the world), both having stage nervousness, both being betrayed multiple times and finally just isolating themselves, both falling in the hands of leeches, both just having their kids as family, these are just some parallels. I hope Mariah wakes up soon, Michael himself once said he is worth upwards of a billion dollars and look at where he was around the end.

My apologies Andrew. Had I known that was going to be someone's response I would have left your name out and saved you some grief. They missed the point I was trying to make.
