True. And did the European leg of SSFT sell around 55-60% mostly? I don't think that's correct.

Google spanks. You can see the nude coloured one when her dresses are really low cut. Wow a lot of sudden unloading.

Celine's Beauty and the Beast (73,604) by darrian liu from taiwan
After I heard her song in the new Beauty and the Beast, I couldn't help but imagine if Mariah sings another song for Disney. Almost Home was amazing in every way (I still cry while listening to it). If she trains her voice to be able to nail those big Broadway belts again (it doesn't have to be of ridiculous heights like in her prime, just the mid notes like from B4-D5, it's not like her notes are bad there but her vibrato is noticeably absent), she would do amazingly with a Disney song.

I don't think so. Danielle was busted at the Buffalo airport and was flying to NY. Mariah is in LA and Danielle hasn't done her hair since Mexico.

Re: Mariah's legacy (73,598) (73,602) by darrian liu from taiwan
Barbra and Celine are incredibly reverred in the industry and the public. Both of their voices are in better shapes than Mariah. Have you guys heard Celine's How Does a Moment Last Forever from Beauty and the Beast? Her vocals are super clear, crystalline, and effortless. Compare that to the vocals of I Don't. I Don't's studio vocal is the worst vocal performance Mariah has ever done in studio. I understand that Mariah has nodules. But if she took serious care of her voice, she would sound incredible. If she took her vocal training seriously, she would sound amazing.

Haha I can't deal with you reducing Stella to her smelly leather jacket and her weave. This board is crazy.

Re: Mariah's legacy (73,598) (73,600) by Webmaster Eric from the Netherlands
I'm sorry, but your messages make me nauseous. You don't like how Mariah reacted to a tv-show, you don't like her voice or the way she looks in a bikini. You suggests that Mariah is taking drugs and now you're complaining about her album and concert ticket sales. You haven't said a single nice thing about Mariah, so what are you doing here? Even Andrew sometimes says nice things (although it's very rare).

If there is any "wishy-washy"on this board it's you dahlin'. Go back to your old posts and see how many times you have gone back and forth between "Stella made Mariah relevant again and upgraded her fashion sense", "Stella's daughters got Mariah's image popping", only to go back to "how Stella's kid are fame hoes and someone should call CPS" and the "lambs blame Stella" bull crap, only to oscillate and then go on rants about how "Stella is leeching off Mariah by surrounding her with her squad". Then you go back and forth between "Stop hating on Mariah" to "Mariah is a hot mess", "Mariah looks like a tranny in the bath tub pictures", "Mariah looks medicated during Carpool Karaoke", "Mariah didn't sing and looked out of shape", then you went on a rant about how Mariah is so out of touch with reality that she didn't bother to go and greet her fans at the lamb party. I don't swing back and forth, I have my opinions and I stick to it. So don't pull your bull crap on me. Bye love.

Mariah's legacy (73,598) by Carlos Lopez from Australia
Let's check the so called divas who still have a legacy. Last album success:
Barbra Streisand: 2016 album hit number 1 the USA, selling nearly 1 million copies worldwide. Her 2016 arena tour in the USA, all 16 dates sold out.
Celine Dion: 2016 French album 1.3 million, 2013 English album hit number 2 in the USA, selling 1.6 million worldwide. Celine's upcoming 24 date European tour, 400,000 tickets sold in an hour, all shows now sold out. Not to mention Vegas.
Mariah Carey: 2015 Compilation album no 1's, hit number 29 in the USA, selling 29,000 worldwide, while her 2014 studio album went to no 3 in the USA, selling 172,000 copies worldwide. Mariah's latest tour with Lionel cut in half with poor ticket sales, still no shows sold out. Last year's 22 date European tour, no sold out shows, most shows selling between to 50-65% capacity.
Why is the biggest selling female artist not able to sell out concerts and sale albums like the other two legacy divas?

Re: Male fans, are you being extra mean to Mimi? (73,595) (73,596) by Carlos Lopez from Australia
Her whole persona is based on her image, she can improve her voice with training and quite the alcohol. She needs do excerise instead of [censored]. Mariah had a beautiful body prior to her pregnancy but she did not loose the weight with hard work but just [censored] which caused the change in body shape, especially her waistline. I know I might sound harsh but she needs more discipline, with her voice and body. Let's face it all, the revealing outfits requires one to workout, otherwise cover up.

Male fans, are you being extra mean to Mimi? (73,595) by Sheila from United States
Mimi L is wishy washy also but most of the negative comments that borderline hate usually come from the gay male lambs. I'm not sure if you expect your diva to be perfect or close to God. It's not realistic, Mariah is a human being and imperfect. Her nails are not going to be perfect. Her weave/hair is not going to be perfect. Her make-up is not going to be perfect. Her voice is not going to be perfect. Get over it. Read your comments, some seem extra harsh.

Each negative comment - Carlos Lopez (73,594) by Sheila from United States
Carlos you dont seem happy. Each one of your comments about Mariah is negative. Take a deep breath, think about why your [sic] in a bad mood and why you are putting the body shame move on Mimi, is your body perfect? Probably not. Girl, please get a life.

Mariah thinks Latin is a race (73,593) by Carlos Lopez from Australia
When the breakdown of George Lopez, a Mexican-American DNA test result revealed he was of European, American Indian mostly, Mariah Carey asks the question where's the Latin part. It baffles me that Mariah's dad is half Latin-American yet she does not know or seem to have taken interest in her Latin culture. Mariah, Latin is not a biological race, but usually a combinations of races or just white, black or Indian.

Mariah's body? (73,592) by Carlos Lopez from Australia
I don't under how Mariah looks gorgeous in her gowns, dresses and staged outfits just as nice as the other curvy stars such as JLo, Kim Kardashian, yet in bikini or swimsuits her waist is [censored], her body looks [censored], [censored], [censored], [censored] but yet flat stomach, don't understand how that combination happens. But yet JLo and Kim look gorgeous in bikinis. How is that possible that Mariah can have a transformation in a gown or dress?

Celine vs Mariah current voices (73,591) by Carlos Lopez from Australia
I keep reading that Celine Dion lip syncs just as much or even more than Mariah Carey, but she's more disciplined in her craft, hence she gets away with it. I would beg to differ, yes she might lip sync certain notes, but her singing voice is at a much better place than Mariah. Celine can sing at a drop of a hat, during interviews, when asked to sing, she will eagerly sing along and ad lib, while Mariah will have excuses that she's been up all night and refused to sing. Another great sign that Celine Dion is still a great singer is that she's always doing tributes on award shows or singing duets with famous singers in France in variety shows, while Mariah would shy away with all this spontaneous singing due to not having control of all her technical help.

Real reason for rescheduling of tour (73,589) by Carlos Lopez from Australia
I believe the tour was rescheduled due to poor ticket sales. The whole knee operation is a cover up. With the new dates they only kept concerts that were selling well. I believe having Mariah on the tour effected the sales of tickets. As many Lionel fans or casual fans were refusing to attend because of Mariah. Let's face it, Mariah does not have enough of a concert following to fill out those big venues, only Lionel could. Plus the ticket prices have reduced dramatically compare to when they were first release. I knew this tour would be a disaster when they announced the paring.

The thing is, I don't think you can negotiate co-dependency terms, even hypothetically. Eventually the person, who is co-dependent would cross the boundaries set in place. They will need more than what you're giving because you're more than likely going to set a line that is way below their bar of need. I just can't see it being possible. My answer would be no (unless I had a sick child and hospital bills were mounting). Stuff like that never works out. The other person starts to suck the life out of you because you're freedomless. Not worth the money in my book.

Edward I said the same thing when it comes to Nick. Anyone who doubts it should look back at the interview she most recently did with Kathy Lee and Hoda. As soon as Nick's name came up, her eyes lit up and that genuine realness came through that you just can't fake. Same as it did on the episode of MW that Nick and his mom were on and as we most recently saw on the red carpet. I do believe Stella stormed into Mariah's life when she was incredibly vulnerable and low. I honestly think this divorce hurt Mariah more than she let on, and she never really let herself get over it. I hate that Stella may be taking or has taken advantage of that. Even if she felt she is being good for MC and empowering her or whatever, she should be encouraging her to let her breathe a little. This codependency is not healthy and not lying MC heal from her marriage dissolving. But again, it may be Mariah herself who doesn't want to face the reality or abandonment of being alone. I do remember while she was married to Nick and towards the end she would often refer to him as the "abandon-er" and especially now that all her prior circle is gone, she has no one but Steller to fill that void. Apparently Tanaka isn't enough.

Winter storm Stella (73,585) by Mara from United States
So my fellow east coast friends, we are bracing ourselves for the storm of the last two decades per our weather channel. Of course it is named Stella. Too bad MC wasn't in her NYC apartment as these storms are few in NYC and I'm sure Roc and Roe would love to sit in and watch the city blanketed with snow. It's a shame MC has pretty much given up her New York card for Stel-LA Land.

Re: If the price is right: question for lambs (73,577) (73,584) by Mara from United States
Marissa isn't really answering your question or maybe it is, I don't think I could literally give up everything, but it does seem like Stella isn't in a way. She - Stella - is the one who seems to live her life just fine and have her father around, her sister, her cousins, whomever and it's MC who take around Stella too. It really is strange. I wanted to point out that literally since Stella was introduced and played a part in Mariah's life, that we seriously haven't seen MC out once anywhere without Stella behind. I really find that alarming. It's almost like Stella has to always be in somewhere watching. Why? I don't care who you are, why do you need someone with you 24/7? It just makes you feel like MC is on house arrest or something or Stella is the gatekeeper. I can't understand why she can't even go to something like he likes of the Kids Choice Awards with her children and their father and not have Stella and her daughters there. Ok, maybe Stella wanted her two to be there since the kids. Everytime I think MC is actually out without her, there is a car or a sighting of the black hair or the black leather jacket somewhere. It really has been every single MC outing since this woman has been around. She is never without her.

Re: Article: Mariah and the twins hit the Kids' Choice orange carpet (73,581) (73,583) by RibbonB from USA
Correction, I don't blame Nick for not wanting to participate in this MW circus act, especially if Stella was a part of the problem. M. will have to pay for her dates from now on if she keeps Stella in the mix, because no man can have a real relationship with a woman and a team especially if the team lives with her 24/7. She wants to be on that stage and hired a "best dumb ass ever" Toynaka to play along this time. Her words. Stella already joked in her wack comedy routine that she doesn't like sex, so she could be a bloodsucker/puppetmaster indefinitely.
