"Utopian unicorn lambs" "minority"? No thanks. All of Mariahs loyal fans are unparalleled and we all are in the minority at this point. A legend can sell albums without loyal fans. It's called matketing to the right demographic and hype for the project. Comparisons unnecessarily not needed. I do agree with your post about her social media though.

I could run her accounts better than they're being ran now. I think these has to do with Roc always saying these people. She was too lazy to finish or couldn't remember.

Haha. Aside from living as well I'd say the best thing from this last year has been her working the intro for Emotions and singing the climax for WBT.

Lambs defending Stella (64,372) by G.G. from USA
It amazes me that some of these lambs despise J-Lo, Nick Cannon, Tommy Mattola and Nicki Minaj, yet they defend Stella and her family. How are you guys that blind? They exude cheap, tacky, fame hungry behavior. They don't care about MC, they care about the come up they thing Mariah can give them. The Bulochnikov train is driving Mariah off of a cliff and you guys are too blind to see it. There is one girl in particular, on Instagram, who was calling Stella out. Then Stella offered to put her on Mariah's World, and now she sings Stella's praises and attacks lambs who call Stella out for her crap. Sad.

Re: Petition or nah (64,368) (64,371) by Marissa from USA
I like the idea of hitting JD up, but I think we need more than that just in case he doesn't tell her. Maybe contacting Kris Buckle, Tanaka or DJ Suss One will work too. I don't necessarily think they'll show Mariah the petition directly either, but I am trying to increase the pressure on them by letting them know that we are not going to keep leaving the same repetitive complaints on Stella and Mariah's Instagram forever and do nothing else. For all we know they could have installed apps to block social media comments, so our complaints could have been falling on deaf ears anyway. But we all know how impulsive Stella can't handle it when people talk shit about her in the media (remember her Page Six lashout and the "Stella is improving my finances" TMZ bs), so she just might fall into the trap and either respond or do something about it. The press caught wind of us being furious with the lingerie at the club stunt, so if this is spread widely among the lambily it might gain the same level of attention.

Re: Petition or nah (64,368) (64,370) by Adam from Usa
I have been thinking about this for a little while myself I just wasn't sure how to go about it. Contacting JD wouldn't be the best idea after how the lambs treated him with the release of MIAM. I think the better route would be to try to get the attention of Rae Rae Jasmin or B Scott. I feel like they might have a better chance to let her know that we are all concerned. I could care less what Mariah chooses to wear (or not wear) but it worries me that it seems like the connection that she once had with us is lost. It's part of the reason that I have been a fan all these years. Just my thoughts.

Where did you hear that Tommy and Mariah still speak? She subtly drags him in every single interview when he's brought up and often won't even speak his name publicly, so I'd be shocked if that was the case.

Re: Petition or nah (64,365) (64,368) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
We don't even need proof to make anyone believe it's not Mariah. The woman who wrote Looking In and Petals will never be the same person making embarrassing errors and spelling mistakes in the captions. We should maybe all hit up JD to show our concerned posts to Mariah. Because the Bulochnikovs won't let Mariah know about this petition.

Re: Poor Mariah (64,363) (64,367) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
Ugh yes B, yes. And what does "these Dembabies" mean? So weird. She is so lazy that she picks the worst fan collages to post. Like the picture of Mariah at the GLAAD awards. There were so many good collages or she could have made one in a second, but no she chose the worst. Plus instead of the random posts, why not take nice full length photos of Mariah's good fashion moments and post them instead? Like Mariah used to in 2013 during AI. Her instagram is a mess. No one needs to tell me to lay off a 13 year old. I wouldn't attack the girl, but if she is given the job of an adult, she needs to either step it up or hand it over. Stella is quite the piece of art letting her daughter take all the heat on Mariah's social media because the fans are going in on Mishka.

Petition or nah (64,365) by Marissa from USA
The worst part of this era for be has been the disconnection from the fans. I'm tempted to start a petition to ask Mariah to come back to her social media in hopes that the media will catch wind of it and the issue can no longer be ignored by the Bulochnikovs. We could use that picture that showed Mishka's name next to the title "social media manager" as proof so the Bulochnikovs couldn't pretend that it's actually Mariah who's been posting the bullshit. We would all need to share it vehemently among the lambily. I truly think the lambs at large hate the social media change and the utopian unicorn lambs who agree with everything the Bulochnikovs do are in the minority now, so I think most people would get on board. What do you all think?

She needs to hire someone to run her social media accounts. Tagging Nick and the horrible hastags and what's with these in between the hastags.

Re: A question for all (64,353) (64,362) by Marissa from USA
Damn, you all are reaching for answers. I think considering the travesty of MIAM that Mariah emerged from we have given this era a lot of bonus points that it may not have deserved. That's especially why I made a point to ask what else was great about this era besides her voice. Getting her voice back together is no small feat, but it's not being applied to any new music so I can't fully jump for joy about it. If I had to answer the question, I would say her getting her body back in shape has been the best part.

Re: Poor Mariah (64,357) (64,361) by TRAVON AUSTIN from United States
I understand what you guys are saying but lets not pretend Nick or Tommy are innocent. Tommy was abusive and tried to sabotage her career. Wendy, Jarule, and even Jennifer Lopez admit it was management to blame. I loved Nick. I believed he was a sweet guy until I saw his behavior during and after the divirce. He says he loves her but then acts like a child when the media can see. I firmly believe Mariah tried to make it work but the bottom line is her priorities during marriage was different than his. Bottom line is, he was 11 years younger than her. He was becoming bigger. In my opinion she helped him more than he helped her emotionally. Mariah's main issue is trust and feeling secure. He ruined that for her. I believe Mariah's actions and behavior could have made it easier for him to walk away. To say he or anyone else is not to blame or is more innocent to put extra highlight or the focus on Mariah's actions is stupid. She hurt her image by marriage to him. 2008 year is a great example. Mariah looked confident, fierce, musically dominant, and happy then. The week after she married, everything started to decline in music sales and priority. The confdent single woman wasn't there anymore. Her and Tommy still speak. She has admitted to it publicly and so has he. He also admitted and apologized for the abuse in his book. The obsession over Stella is ridiculously overrated and at the same time relevant. This notion that Mariah is incapable and can't manage her life or her kids, when she pays her employees not the record label is uneducated, biased, stupid, and a stupid fan bandwagon. I side with Mariah but at the same the lambs are doing the most and talking the most. Madonna 11 years older, is worse and her fans are more supportive of her than the lambs are of Mariah. Then again Mariah speaks to the mentally ill very well. I just don't understand the lambs lately.

Um, let's see, the best thing, in my opinion, from this 2015-16 MC era would have to be (thinking about the music, movies, interviews, fashion, personality) I'd have to say, the fact that she's still alive. It gives me hope for a better era for the coming year(s). Sorry, that's the only thing I like, nothing else honestly. Guys I'm kidding lol. I'd say the best thing is her new stage confidence and the reworking of some of her songs in concert.

Re: Adam (64,357) (64,358) by RibbonB from USA
Adam, I've said months ago that Mariah likes to play the damsel in distress and she brings in people to achieve a goal. Some of her fans buy what she's putting out even if its a bad look. Others from her team jump ship or were pushed out when they don't like the new direction. I think Mariah does this to hedge her bets so if it works they all win, if it fails blame the team. That said, there is a dark underbelly to that industry. I still say Mariah has now chosen to swim with sharks and it could easily end badly. I am definitely one of the ones who speak out though I have no desire to interact with a thirteen year old who now allegedly controls her social media. I am positive Mariah's people read this messageboard. Perhaps this is another hedged bet, she can put out whatever she wants yet nobody wants to interact with a kid on social media. If Stellar signed on for the role as villain, Russian dictator, leech then so be it. She is doing it well and deserves to be treated as such. No matter what, it's unwise for Mariah to have one family involved in her personal life, control her finances etc. Even if Mariah chose it, it is still a recipe for failure. Opportunists look for Areas of weakness to exploit. Whitney died in a tub of hot water while her sister in law/manager slowly walked down the hall, and her manager's brother/bodyguard was no where to be found. Now those family member are trying to sell her Grammy's for money. Lastly, I wish Mariah would develope or display more internal strength to live alone, be strong, raise her children in more privacy. The wider your circle, the more vulnerable you become. I think this crew is in it to control Mariahs legacy, her songbook. Mariah is a tough fighter I hope she wins and always wish the best for her kids.

Re: Poor Mariah (64,347) (64,357) by ADAM from USA
Wow. Spot on. As a fan of MC, I see her choices that's she's made professionally and personally as all her own. I think some people take Mariah's lyrics or confessionals during interviews a little too personal and feel like Mariah isn't accountable for her own behavior and choices. Nick was someone who she fell in love with and is the father of her kids and not the "villain". When they were together she genuinely looked the most in love and it produced the first and only set of children she's ever had. That's no small feat. When two people get together it takes the love and commitment from both ends to make a relationship work and when it no longer works out anymore, it's okay. When two people break up it's because they feel that point, they'll both be happier apart. Why does Mariah have to be taken advantage of? It's so silly. To me, whether it's Tommy, Nick, Stella or James. These are all people who had/have relationships with Mariah and at one point or another were close with MC. We'll never know both sides to anyone's relationship so why do we feel the need to destroy or victimize the other person? We all have been kind, loving, and at times with other people mean, unkind, and drift apart. This includes Mariah Carey. Let's just vote on whether the content she creates is good or not and remember that we are all human even the ones we consider to be supernatural lol. Thanks for reading. No ill-intentions from this post.

Re: The disconnect (64,331) (64,355) by this_is_qhm from the Philippines
So true. As a songwriter, she has been been autobiographical more times than one could count. Of course not all people deal with and react to their struggles the same way. Mariah has been very good at hiding what goes on in her personal life and there are some things that happened to her that we weren't exactly aware of until they came pouring out through her music. She is rightfully in control of what she wants and doesn't want the public to know. However, we are at an era where people treat social media like their diary, and we are led to believe that whatever a person posts is a reflection of what their real life is like. These days, people expect the music to go with the artists image. Take 2 serial daters Taylor Swift and John Mayer for example. John's music was criticized for being a complete 180 from his lovelife. Tay, on the other hand, is almost applauded for revealing too much of her short-lived relationships through her craft. Relatability is the name of the game. Mariah, like every other celebrity, isn't one-dimensional, and there's more depth to her than what we see on the internet. But the more she keeps on posting pictures of her lavish lifestyle in her mostly either ill-fitting or inappropriately racy outfits or lack thereof, the harder it would be for people to believe or relate to more recent personal songs like Cry. or Camouflage, even if they do happen to come from real experience. And the unfortunate fact that a tween is in control of her social media presence is unsettling and is really just sad.
