Re: Mimi L. (64,316) (64,324) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
I agree with you and I too think she needs to be completely in a zone for her to kick off a new era, because if this fails too, there is no more chance of a big comeback. I wasn't asking for new music, I was just saying she did say she is releasing stuff and all but nowadays it seems like music is the last thing on her mind and that is sad because I don't really care for Hallmark deals and GoW ads. Those are pointless. Either she goes for big budget movies/soundtracks or leave it because otherwise she is cheapening her image. I would hope that I am wrong and that she is working behind the scenes on music.

Re: Tragedy in France (64,319) (64,323) by Andrew from UK
Adam I'm normally one to agree with you but am surprised at your post. White people? That's completely bizarre. I think fan backlash as made her realise silence is not an option in this day and age. I hope that's the reason. White people? That's so far off my radar I'm a little shocked. And how can anything be too little too late? I'm the first to criticise where I feel it's necessary, but when somebody makes a move to correct a wrong they should be supported in doing so. Otherwise we would all be punished eternally for past wrongdoings. This doesn't sit well with me. You can't be damned if you do and damned if you don't. That's markedly unfair.

Cute pics (64,322) by RibbonB from USA
Mariah looks very good in the pics of her and Roc and Roe. Nice to see her look relaxed, more natural posing with the babies.

Photoshopping is a given. But something else looks even weirder in the pic. You know when you resize pictures when editing documents and make one a bit too narrow that it messes up the aspect ratio and slims down/distorts everything in it? That's what it looks like - a picture that's, for explanatory purposes, is actually 10 inches wide but compressed down to 9.

Message about Nice (64,320) by Ian from United Kingdom
Puts a message about Nice on Twitter, cool, a few hours later puts a posing picture with the caption "having a splash", so not cool. I wonder if she is even aware that she has a twitter account.

Re: Tragedy in France (64,306) (64,319) by ADAM from USA
Or maybe she just cares to speak up when it affects white people. I don't know how else to interpret it when she completely ignores the tragedies that have affected gay people in Orlando or the Black Lives Movement. I'm not suggesting she has to speak up for every movement but when you cherry pick what you support like she does it leaves you open to every opinion. Here comes all the dissenting opinions now and all the comments about how Fly Like A Bird and Outside and tokens of her appreciation for these minority groups. No thank you. It's not good enough. Flaunt your diamonds and endless self promotion of your body somewhere else.

Clash cover / many faces (64,318) by Natalia from Italy
Her body looks awesome. Yet again another face that looks strange to me. You can't see her nose or mouth just one eye. This is awful. What's the point of being on the cover of a magazine if your hiding almost your entire face? She is a few inches away from looking like cousin It. She has to have had some work done on her face. She looks nothing like the Mariah from even a few years back. If this is true I wish she would just stop. There is no need to modify her face. She was so beautiful as she was. It's so strange to me. Then what is even more strange, is when my post is censored by the mod when I mention that she possibly had plastic surgery. Is it really necessary to censor this? It is a valid concern. I don't feel that this is disrespectful. Please explain why I am being censored.

Clash (64,317) by Andrew from UK
Okay so Mariah needs therapy. There is something seriously not quite right with her. If you'd been lambasted time and time again in recent years for airbrushing your not thin body to look thin, you'd give it up. You wouldn't keep on with it. I don't know who they think that is on the cover of Clash but it certainly isn't Mariah Carey. [censored] It's embarrassing. How can one woman have so little shame?

Mimi L. (64,316) by Giovanni from USA
I get your frustration about new music. I want new music too. But I don't feel right now is the time to start a new era. The release of a new single has to be at the right time. I also want to know what happened to rumored song with Diane Warren. Earlier this year I tried to find some info about it on Google and found several tweets from Diane that said she was happy to have worked with Mariah. And tweeted "that song is crazy". So apparently did Mariah already record the song? The tweet was from last year.

Clash mag (64,315) by Giovanni from USA
I love the picture. Personally I would have liked more clothing but meh, she looks great. The question is did she use Photoshop?

Leave Mariah alone (64,314) by Giovanni from USA
If I was a successful singer like Mariah I wouldn't be tweeting about a tragic event that takes place. What good does a tweet do? Life doesn't stop just because something horrible happens in the world. She's living her life so why don't you all do the same. Especially you Andrew. Nobody cares about a damn tweet.

Yes, I have been wishing she would make a true gospel album for a long time. Real "sanging", hopefully. Maybe if she does a gospel cd Stellar and her team of ace crack leeches will melt away. Lol. Prayers insert praying hands emoji here.

I liked it too. Very Barbie meets Bianca. I would have definitely liked it if her whole face was visible, but maybe it is visible in the pictures inside. I hope it is accompanied by a good interview.

Message about Nice (64,311) by RibbonB from USA
Cool Mariah or her people made a post about Nice. They made one about Belgium and others before that. It changes nothing, but cool. But here go the too little too late comments. At least she sent up a prayer.

Stella's company is called "Wikked Cat" if I am not mistaken.

Re: Tragedy in France (64,304) (64,305) by THE TRUTH from USA
Sorry but too little too late, we all know it. She realized it was going to cost her and she had to climb out of her lavish bubble and say something almost a day later. On another note, a friend just texted me to ask if I knew Stella's company is called "Wikked". How appropriate. Evidently this whole witchcraft element is nothing new. In one of Mariah's earliest interviews she mentions her mother's interest in the occult.

Re: Tragedy in France (64,302) (64,304) by Martyn from England, UK
Mariah has tweeted about the tragedy in France, she said "My heart grieves for the people of Nice, near where we are now. Praying for more peaceful times for France and for all around the world." I actually think Mariah herself may have tweeted this because it isn't dripping with hashtags.

Re: Tragedy in France (64,293) (64,302) by Julie from France
I just feel the same regarding Mariah and Stella attitudes. Stella posted one more hastaged bullshit picture of her rich life and I couldnt help but post a comment in reply on her FB. Hope someday she will understand we really don't care about her life, even more when a tragedy just happended next to her holiday place. I'm so sad this woman is dealing with Mariah's career and maybe influences her behavior.

Re: Um (64,300) (64,301) by Luke from United Kingdom
To be honest I'd rather they keep quiet about music. I'm sure she's got stuff in the works but we don't want another Infinity which was supposedly another We Belong Together because everyone hyped it up, only for it to flop.

Re: Um (64,299) (64,300) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
Absolutely no news about music. What happened to the Diane Warren collab? What is up with the JD collab which will supposedly be her 19th #1? What happened to the single she said was coming "soon"? Nothing.

Re: Um (64,295) (64,299) by darrian liu from taiwan
I agree completely. Mariah should get a much more competent manager than Stella. If only Stella manages Mariah as well as her attempts in publicizing the Bulochnikovs, Mariah's image would be much better. This era frustrates me so much because eventhough Mariah's performances are really consistently good now and her live vocals as strong as ever, Mariah seems really lost and her focus isn't on the right place.
