Re: Mariah is cheating (62,568) (62,617)

I love Mariah Carey but I won't be delusional. She has been getting wasted to the point of having her clothes fall off and she's becoming this completly different person. She's always with Bryan even when she isn't doing business with him. I seen a picture of Mariah wearing a robe at night and Bryan wearing it the next day. It's all very strange and when Andy Cohen tried talking about him she shut the it down real quick. And to be honest I think Stella made a deal with TMZ to get like 4 or 5 nip slips. I've been a lamb for a while now and this just seems like Mariah is in on it. When she was in the car and Stella pulled up her shirt for her, Mariah actually moved her hair out of the way so they can get a good shot of her nip. Sorry but it's my opinion.

You obviously don't read the board often if you're questioning my loyalty as a fan. I'm one of most positive fans here. But I'm not afraid to give negative opinions about Mariah or any other people. Especially Stella.

Haha Marissa, Mariah cartwheeling is a video I think I can watch on repeat for the rest of my life. But jokes aside I too want to know why Mariah didn't get the award. I thought she was getting it in 2015 when she returned to BBMAs after years and then again this time I thought she will get it this year, but alas. Why they always delay her honors (walk of fame, BBMAs etc.) is beyond me.

The iconic Mariah Carey (62,614)
by darrian liu from taiwan

Mariah should be honored with an Icon Award. How can you not be awarded with that when you literally broke barriers between two very contrasting genres and make it the prominent face of pop music landscape? Mariah deserves to be more celebrated and awarded tbh, remembering her huge impact on the industry. Yet Jennifer Lopez received the Icon Awards first when her impact is much smaller than Mariah's.

Why tear down other artists? (62,613)
by BIGGEST MC FAN from UNITED STATES

Every time someone gets a #1 or an award there are some members here who say stuff like "Mariah is way better and more deserving". That is really petty and shows how desperate and threatened you are. Let these artists live. Mariah hasn't been putting in the work to be at the top since The Emancipation Of Mimi era and frankly has cheapened her reputation and image by being shady, going on American Idol, doing duets with the likes of Justin Bieber. Which would explain why she isn't being honored like Whitney, Celine, Beyonce, etc. even though we as fans know she deserves it.

My theory on the last year and a half (62,607)
by Amber C from USA
| |
|
|
For starters, I feel this marriage to James Packer thing is a hoax. I believe everything happening right now is a hoax. I feel Mariah has sold out. A contract with E? Forget it guys. As lambs you must be observant. That crazy red head has used Mariah and gotten her to sign contracts. You don't believe me? Well look at this: when was Mariah introduced to this woman? When she signed with the new label. What did that label do? They brainwashed Mariah into thinking Infinity was it (when really sane Mariah would have never released such bull). They then milked her by making another greatest hits, but not just any greatest hits, I believe Mariah's final album (not final single). They forced the legacy artist label upon her, like they mocked Jesus and smudged the "king of the jews" upon his cross (tab bit dramatic I know) but listen up, they are writing her off, little by little. No one around her actually cares about her. Things have gone from bad to worse. Mariah knows they don't want her around but she's signed too many contracts in her life and this reality tv show is the peak guys. Call me a pessimist, but I'm actually an observant fan. Please think about everything and put it all into perspective please. And that tattoo on Nick's back is so obvious I'm surprised I never though about it. Please look at it again. I feel like Mariah needs to run away. Why does she always mention how she would rather still be in bed, but has to do what she has to do? I think Mariah used to love all this fame, but now she mocks her persona. In normal circumstances people create a persona which others mock. But no, the Mariah inside of her is looking at the persona she has created and mocking her own persona. Do you all understand? She has given up. Lol. It's sad idk why I find it a bit humorous, it's actually really sad that had happened. She is not in love with James. James is not in love with Mariah. It's a hoax. Go watch Mariah's interview on Watch What Happens, when they talk about Nick, all of a sudden we see a more realistic Mariah. Now go watch when Nick is on the show and they ask about Mariah. He knows every small detail. Andy asks whether Mariah was referring to him in "Don't explain" as the cheater. He tries to let it slide, but truthfully he pointed out specific details about the song, which Andy did not mention. I mean just go watch for yourself. My point is [...] still in love, and they are not even divorced. Even Steven Wonder. I'm eighty percent sure they will not be getting divorced, and although they hate each other they are still in love, and Nick has too much to loose (dembabies) if they divorce. I sound crazy, but this time by next year it will be clear, that the last year and a half was the actual fall of Mariah, not this comeback they're going to try to call it. It's all an illusion. Hollyweird. I'm glad fans on this page are starting to wake up, if [..] going to deny the real down fall of Mariah (like Nick's back tattoo illustrates), then you will be left behind, done with enemy of progress lambs. Stella is hired by the record company or who ever to do her job. Not what Mariah wished, but what is wished for Mariah. The objective is to distract Mariah from the music. To inhibit any more hits. What the fudge is all this touring and greatest hits about? Distracters? Yes. Time wasters? Yes. Nick is Mariah's only true loyal friend. Mark my words. He left her because she wasn't being strong. He tried to help her, but she didn't want it. We all look up to M, but even Stevie Wonder could see, she has lost it. And I bet you he wants full custody, if she forces a divorce. Please read between the lines. I feel Nick is the most fit parent. Hands down. Be real.

Slay queen. Giggles. I to hope this works for Mimi but I still wish Staleah be gone. I actually liked the TI and Tiny reality show that she produced, it was actually warm and humorous. It just seems so far removed from the way Mariah and her show are being treated. Imma wish the Rehashians great success, so they will be too busy to be in Marian's mix.

Celine can't out sing any of those ladies, but that's just my opinion. Both Mariah and Aretha most definitely outsang her during the Divas Live performance. Celine is not soulful at all, but she has an OK voice. Adele is in their league though.

Mariah's World / SA tour / Hallmark (62,603)
by 123 from USA
| |
|
|
Regardless of any future project Mariah has coming, no project (no matter how bad) will ruin her legacy. Her status as an iconic legendary vocalist is set. She isn't on top right now so there is no where to go but up. Even 2014's isolated vocals haven't stopped her from selling tickets in Vegas or her tour. Mariah's World seems tame to other reali- I mean reality based shows out there. Usually the promo has the most ratchet moments playing to draw people in and if Mariah saying she has a rule about fluorescent lighting the most scandalous thing, I'm sure it will be fine. Even Wendy Williams agreed with her, how odd as she usually uses these moments to throw a cheap shot. Looks like she might be doing a South American leg of her tour. I hope it's true so her SA fans can finally see her and she continues to condition her live vocals. Looks like Mariah's World will debut in the fall along with a Hallmark project and new songs to each Hallmark project so something is coming in the fall music wise. One thing for sure is at least the new team is keeping her booked and making money.

Celine is releasing a new French song written by Goldman so I'm not sure why you're saying she's not singing in French anymore or that Goldman doesn't want to work with her. He's not the only French songwriter she works with anyway. She's been working on a new French album. That's what I've been hearing anyway.

TMZ / videos (62,601)
by 123 from USA

I thought it was funny as well as I could tell that Mariah and the camera man were joking with each other. Of course TMZ spun it that she had a diva fit at the mere question of someone singing for her at her wedding and everyone commenting on Yahoo believed it (just nasty comments) saying how dare she say no one, she is full of herself, egomaniac, the usual comments. At this point they are always going to paint her as a diva and everyone believes it anyway, no matter what she does, so diva away. I didn't particularly care for her cussing in front of a teenager but she has been exposed to more than cussing at this point. The instagram videos don't bother me as they are just kids being silly, poor Stella doesn't look like she knows how to twerk that "big ole thang".

Article: Mariah Carey back in business with Hallmark Channel (62,599)
by Malcolm from Asia

I'm happy for her but what will happen to her music? Can she do all of this? Please no more A Christmas Melody type of acting. From what I have seen in all of your messages and all of the online comments about her, all I want this Christmas is for her to have a classier management that doesn't have more agenda than managing their client especially of her caliber. Class is what Mariah's losing now, she had that back in the day. It's really frustrating and sad that from being the ultimate darling of the public, hit or miss you know she's there, she will always deliver, and now we are all here.

Icon Award (62,598)
by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City)

The tribute to Celine was mediocre at best, but her performance and speech were a standard all their own. On another note I do feel Mariah definitely deserves the BBM Icon award, it is long over due but when it does happen as I like to speak positive energy into existence, I would like a masterclass tribute highlighting her greatness and a medley performance.

All I'm going to say is at this very moment I don't know anyone else that deserved that award more than Celine. Celine and Mariah are the last of a dying breed. That dying breed being people with talent. I won't diminish all that Celine has accomplished just because I have more love for Mariah. They are both deserving and both of them have given this industry so much. Mariah will eventually get hers.

Are you really a lamb? (62,596)
by radhames from Curacao
| |
|
|
There was a time I couldn't skip 1 message on this board, but lately there's been nothing but complains. So I just open this website to read the news. Today I said let me give this another try and again I'm like WTF? Are you guys really a lamb? (Giovanni for example.) When Jermaine was her manager, wow, I felt sorry for the dude for so much hatred he got from the lambs. And now Stella. I mean, Mariah isn't a 10 year old child. She may be playing that eternally 12 card, which I love, but come on guys. Maybe Stella wants fame, maybe not, who cares? Do you think if I was Mariah's manager I wouldn't want the world to know that I am managing Mariah Carey? As long as I'm doing a great job, which she obviously is doing, it's okay. Don't you notice how many positive articles there have been since she's the manager? Like that latest TMZ article saying she's a down-to-earth celebrity. I love Rea-Rea, but let's be real, her dancing was so 1901. So she had to go. Look at all the new amazing dancers, Bryan and Anthony. Don't you think all that was Stella's doing? (On a side note, I read a message saying Mariah is cheating with Bryan. Lol.) And if Stella wants her kids to be in club around people drinking alcohol or twerking, that's her and her f****** life. When she said she would do the E. series, so many negative messages. The woman is 46 years old, she needs to do something to reach the younger audience. And hasn't she done that E. Uncut in 2006? I think it's the same but in 8 episodes. If you hate everything Mariah has done lately, why do you guys keep coming to this lamb board and keep criticizing her and everybody around her? I wish we could all come here as a true lamb and show our positive feelings towards the queen. Don't you think once in a while Mariah visits this website? How would she feel reading all these stupid comments her "lambs" writes about her? If you want the 90's Mariah, go to YouTube and watch the videos. I saw her in 2006 and last year in Jamaica. That woman is incredible. Yeah, she lipped some parts obviously but the live parts were also amazing. For me she is the queen and will always be.

Mariah Carey: icon (62,595)
by Anthony Basco from Cardiff, Wales
| |
|
|
For whatever reason that still to this day (and probably forever more will) remains unfathomable to me, Mariah has never truly got the recognition she deserves as the astronomically talented artist she is. For the person with the greatest voice of all time, she also has one of the strongest and most unique songwriting abilities. Whatever happens, as Marissa said, Mariah (as far as I'm concerned) has deserved that award since the release of Mariah Carey in 1990. The fact that she continued to produce album after album of incredible music, beautifully sung makes her worthy of that award hundreds of times over. I've always got the feeling that Mariah is going to be the Mozart of our times. That is, true appreciation will never be realised until she is no longer with us (far into the future, God willing). So no matter what happens personally or professionally, or whatever I may think of X outfit or Y interview, I just want to say to Mariah: I recognise that you are musically a genius, you possess the voice of a goddess, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing that incredible gift with the world. God bless Mariah, my Icon Award goes to you above all others, now and always.

Just been watching this performance again after a while, and I love her look and she sounds amazing, but looking at her here I can not imagine her being surrounded by the likes of stella and her corrupt crew, family. Mariah is far too classy and so much a stronger person to need those type of people around her. I just hope she realises that and gets shut of those nobodies who surround her, soon, as Mariah is class, Stella and crew are trash.

Mariah vs Celine vs Jennifer (62,593)
by Robby from Chicago USA
| |
|
|
I didn't find out, until last night, that the last year recipient of the BB icon award was Jennifer Lopez. And I was like, really? But I am not in the position to judge or question the choice made by BB, not sure if they did choose the winner or if it was a result of voting by the fans. Regardless, it just tells me that anybody can just win this award. No offense to Jennifer but doesn't the word "icon" stands for someone who revolutionalized or started something that is different or at par from what everybody does? I am certain that people at BB are not imbeciles, that they truly understand what an icon stands for but after this Jennifer thing, I am convinced that they purposely changed what this word stands for. Yes, Jennifer is a dancer, performer, actress, but what did she bring to the music industry that is different than what Madonna or Janet Jackson or Paula Abdul have brought to the table? Well, she might be an icon in some part of the universe but I just can't comprehend her being one here on earth (lol). Please don't get me wrong, I respect her as a person, as an entertainer, but as an icon, no freaking way. Now, about Celine, I don't have anything more to say.

Stella and her daughters (62,588)
by Giovanni from USA

Make it obvious more and more in each picture that they're hungry fame. Stella is not mature, classy or professional at all. Mariah needs to fire her asap. She needs someone who is experienced with the music industry. Stella's agenda is to be famous, not manage Mariah or help her be successful. I don't care what she's done for her. She needs to stop being so thirsty and conduct herself the way a manager should. These people are like a poison to her. I'm so over them.

Celine Dion vs Mariah (62,587)
by Gilles from Malta
| |
|
|
Just a few records regarding Céline. She has a beautiful voice and can sing in a beautiful way. That's it. She doesn't write, she doesn't produce. She is talented but Céline Dion's albums are not made as Mariah. We can not really compare them. Céline did stop singing in French for the moment because the producer, writer Jean Jacques Goldman doesn't want to work for her anymore. He did produce and write music and lyrics for her successful hits in French and English on many I mean many many albums. Carol King as well. Céline is a very good and talented singer. I would say interpret. Not a full artist. But now, a full artist, does it still exist? So let's get a bit real. I mean I would say "Icon for the best music Interpret in the industry". Ok? No rancour Céline, just facts. I like you too.

I get it, you love Celine more than Mariah. Celine is the most beautiful woman on earth. She's so much classier than Mariah. She's the best female singer of all time. She is in the same league as Aretha Franklin, Patti Labelle and Chaka Khan. She can out sing them all. She sounds just as she did in 1997. She is also a better artist than Mariah and has been more influential. She has better artistry, musicianship and can write songs too. Her acceptance speech will forever be remembered as one of the most powerful, moving speeches in Billboard history. Even I almost teared up. She completely deserved the award because she's so much more iconic and legendary, right? Meanwhile back to Mariah.
