New era (61,061) by Giovanni from USA
I also believe that we'll be getting another "Daydream" or "The Emancipation Of Mimi" era with the next album. Mariah must have at least two or three number one songs ready to go. But she needs good videos and promotion.

I absolutely agree with you. AYNAF is one of her greatest hits. I wish Open Arms was also in the setlist.

Re: Mariah was fabulous in Helsinki / Andrew (61,059) by Tiina from Finland
Yes, of course I paid for it. And it wasn't cheap. I must say, for all the money I paid, one thing that was disappointing was that the meet and greet was extremely rushed. It wasn't really even a proper meet and greet, it was just a few seconds with Mariah to take one picture. And when I say a few seconds, I mean literally. All in all I spent probably 7-10 seconds in her presence to take the photo. Don't get me wrong, I'm very thankful and blessed to have been able to do it. I also understand that the schedule is very tight and I didn't expect to be able to sit down and have an hour long conversation with her talking about how much she means to me. But it's not right that we pay so much money for the meet and greet only to be rushed through it. I just saw the photo they took of me and her last night and although I'm relieved that it turned out pretty good, I look distant and my hands are in an awkward position and what's upsetting is that Mariah isn't even looking at the camera. It was because there were so many different people around rushing us and the security guy told us to not try and grab her before we went in, so I was nervous because I didn't want to do anything wrong on top of being nervous about meeting her and looking decent in the photo. What I don't appreciate is that I paid 700 euros to be able to meet her and for the photo opportunity and they couldn't even wait for a few seconds for me to be able to exchange those few short words with Mariah without feeling like I risked the photo I paid so much money for and then for us both to get in position to take the picture. That would have taken maybe 5 seconds. They started taking photos right away and it all happened in a blink of an eye and then they rushed me out. Although I left there feeling emotional and happy about meeting her, I was also scared that the photo would turn out to be a disaster. Some fans got blurry photos even though these pictures were supposed to be taken by a professional photographer, at least my photo is in high resolution. I still feel like it was worth it, though, just because I love Mariah so much. It was just way over priced. We didn't even get front row seats.

Pic (61,058) by Giovanni from USA
Whether or not that pic was taken with or without Mariah's consent it's still a bad pic regardless. I feel Mariah sometimes tries too hard to be sexy. She needs to let those "Honey" and "Rainbow" days go. She isn't in her 20's anymore. To me she's the sexiest when she's covered up in a glamorous ensemble.

That growl (61,057) by Warren from Trinidad & Tobago
At 0.11 in this link. The confidence in the walk and just everything just seems like a whole new Mariah. I love it. I can't wait to see what's next. And f.y.i. clearly this is 100% live.

Adele (61,056) by Giovanni from USA
I agree that "When we were young" was a poor choice for her second single. She should have went with "Send my love (to your new lover)". I will say that after giving "25" another chance I like it much more now. It's definitely growing on me. "Water under the bridge", "Love in the dark", "Sweetest devotion". And I wouldn't count her out just yet with "25". There are plenty of songs on her album that have potential to be another number one. What I'd like from her for future albums would be more up tempos, jazz and some gospel.

To whom it may concern (61,055) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
I see some people (well actually just one person) try stir up a fight with me when they themselves are always complaining on this board. I am choosing to completely ignore this person from here on. Simply not worth my time. You know who you are and this is exactly what I feel. (Mainly the you don't exist to me.) I wish you well.

Article: Mariah hasn't sung her biggest hit once on current tour (61,054) by Gilles from Malta
True in a certain way. Before touring she said that she is going to sing differents songs from her repertoire and adapt the setlist to the countries. In fact in Luxembourg "Anytime you need a friend" was number 100 for like a month and a half and she didn't sing a single note of it. Anyway we are just happy that she performed here. But she shouldn't have said such a thing before.

Article: Mariah shows off her incredible figure in tight red dress (61,052) by jonny from china
I talked to one of the people on Mariah's payroll list and they said some of her past managers had to be let go for temporary reasons not personal reasons. Tthis sounds nothing like Mariah because by now all lambs should know how Mariah talks and I don't think this sounds like something that will come out of her mouth.

She looks stunning (61,051) by Terna from Nigeria
Mariah is really looking hot recently. I can say she looks the best she's ever looked 26 years into her career. Even that golden glow she had but lost is back. This woman ain't playing. I have a feeling we are going to get a massive Daydream/Emancipation hybrid comeback this year. I love her.

12 (61,050) by Andrew from UK
Some would do well to remember that the "12 year old girl" is in fact a 12 year old girl, and probably shouldn't be the subject of fangirl bullying. Especially from those who sometimes display mental ages of the same.

Best, sanest, most interesting interview in a while. Finally, some self-awareness in terms of her contributions to music.

Hi, I was able to re-upload the mix on Soundcloud but had to transpose the original track 1 semitone higher and other things to bypass copyright infringement. I even changed the title, just to be sure. It is, of course, "more than just a made up dream" (cit. 2:50) haha.

Some new pictures (61,045) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
There were not a lot of new pictures and I thought instead of making multiple new photo posts, I'll include these 5 in one post. This was posted by a member of her team on their instagram. This is from the interview. This and this are from her tour. This in particular looks a lot like how she did in the "Honey" video when she was tied to the chair and asks for gum.

Re: Pic (61,035) (61,043) by Marissa from USA
I don't think either one of the men in the picture meant to come across as sleazy or sexual. In fact it didn't even look like they could see her butt from that angle. It was just an inopportune photo, but nonetheless rather than something like this being a random paparazzi photo that would fade into the distance in a matter of days, it's on her own Instagram and is now associated with her brand.

Re: Bye Russian mafia [censored] (61,031) (61,042) by RibbonB from USA
Yes I would want her out especially if she said those things on Marian's behalf, or if she just let Marian say them herself. That is not having Marian's back, that is protecting her own image, or just vindictive. We didn't see Stella all up in tiny and t I's reality show. Didn't know about her or cared until she latched onto Mariah. Mariah always has ups and downs. That's life. What she seems to lack is self confidence. I will be glad when her infinity means contentment, confidence, faith and not just be seemingly tied to the next man or manager because when things go south, welp.

Re: Tourbook credits (61,034) (61,041) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
The other company listed does the promotional posts, like her thanking "Airbnb" and "zetta jet" and other promotional things like her concert dates/release dates and such. The main photos, the photos of dembabies, the bad edits and abundance of spelling errors are all the 12 year old. You can clearly tell a difference between the promo/advertising posts and the normal personal posts.

Re: Bye Russian mafia [censored] (61,031) (61,040) by RibbonB from USA
I attribute Marian's success or failure to Mariah. Ultimately she makes the final choices and she has to live with the consequences if they are bad ones. People don't give her enough credit and always treat her like she is subject to every wind and whim, or other people's work. Mariah sings, writes, produces and deals with the public and private work. She can find any team to have her back. She has in past and will on future. Her career like her weight comes and goes in cycles, ultimately due to her hard work. She got to Vegas before Stella, she had had great tours in the past. The only thing Stella is doing different is a different kind of drama. Mariah can do well without it. Mostly I'm concerned about Stella sinfully injecting herself into Marian's world. She really stands alone, but due to her insecurity she hedges her bets. IMO.

Mariah was fabulous in Helsinki (61,038) by Tiina from Finland
I had the time of my life tonight. The show was great and Mariah was incredible, she sounded really strong and I don't care what anyone says, she was singing live. That voice is incredible. She also had great energy on stage and we had so many moments of her just talking to the crowd and she also did a mini impromptu songwriting session on stage. The meet and greet went by super fast because of the tight schedule but what means the most to me is that she looked me in the eyes and I told her "I love you, Mariah" and she said "I love you too." I have no idea if the photo came out good because it was so fast but at least we shared a moment and it was captured. I know you all know but she is so beautiful, even more beautiful in person. I'm just in awe of her. If you ever get a chance to see her live, do it.
