I kind of knew it was going to be very short, so I decided right away I wasn't going for that ticket. Every person is different but I will never understand why people go in debt for something like concert tickets and everything that goes with that. For me, if I don't have the budget, I'm not doing it. Don't let the negative feeling rule the fact that you did meet her, even if it was brief. What did you expect? A moment of splashes and festivity? Becoming best friends and staying over in the butterfly room at her Tribeca pad? Get real guys. Somebody read the bases before buying their tickets? "Opportunity to meet, photo opportunity, nothing more." No one said [...] etc. Simple, what said in the foundations of purchase? Few, almost anyone, written, "I met her that's good." Only complaints, you are fans or foes. We are talking about a "big star" which years did not make tours (another example U2, do concerts for decades) least in Europe and facing attacks and Belgium, the artist being "American" and just focus for an explosive disaster. She couldn't canceled the tour and point, for their safety and that's all. She stayed. Clearly Mimi is making this tour exclusively by us, his fans. Does someone made accounts how much she will has net to her pocket? Almost nothing. Mimi earns millions in "Las Vegas" without leaving her residence. Almost daily concerts, in all Europe. Singing live really well. You can not jump hours with everyone, it would be chaos, and would not have forces for their next concert, the next day, in my case. Marissa humble? Who are you to judge me? Yikes (61,121) by Todd from Melbourne, Australia It's like an episode of Oprah up in here. So here's my Oprah-ism: You can't change the past, so stop trying or dwelling on it. Just quietly though, I'm not surprised. I'm probably going to get annihilated for saying this, but generally people who are as beautiful/wealthy/successful as Mariah don't give a lot of thought to anyone outside of their immediate circle. The whole "being connected to my fans" is likely a PR/marketing thing. Does that change anything? No, because regardless of the type of person she is, she's still an incredible singer and songwriter, which really, is all I'm looking for from the woman. (Friday 8 April 2016; 1:56)

Meeting you and having the opportunity not just to see you again in concert but have my extremely brief time with you means more to me than you will ever know, but I have to say these few words. You have inspired and encouraged me so much over the years, your talent, character and ability to make me feel like I'm a special and worthwhile person has been otherworldly. I feel like we are kindred spirits. I'm an anomaly in life, and I feel you are, too. But you own it, you accept it and you embrace it. That makes me feel it's ok for me to do so, too. Thank you so, so much for everything you have done for me from afar. I know you're not perfect, and I love that about you. It's what draws me to you, time and again. I know that you're a diva, I know that you're out of my world and in your own, but just admiring someone like you, who I feel represents outsiders, makes me feel acceptable. And why does she charge for it? She doesn't need the money. The whole thing is sorry if you ask me. A meet and greet should at least be an hour. Connecting with the fans (61,110) by Marissa from USA Tiina, I am sorry that you experience didn't go as planned. I understand why you treated this situation like an investment by getting a new outfit and your makeup done, because by the looks of all of the meet-and-greets we've seen on her TV specials, it does seem like you would have had a much fuller experience than a 7 second encounter. It's misleading. My question is that since she doesn't run her social media anymore, has very rushed meet-and-greets, and does an extremely low amount of interviews compared to other artists, where are these mythical moments where she actually does "connect with the fans?" Connecting with the fans was back when she was actively on Twitter, writing her own captions on Instagram, leaving voicemails on her website, or back in 2011 and 2012 where she would post a lot of candid videos to her YouTube page of her traveling around the world and her creating of Worldwide Lamb Day (or whatever it was called). Her being busy is not an excuse for her pulling back because she has always (caps) been busy. One might argue that Mariah's World is an opportunity to connect with the fans, but it still is a show that needs to pull in ratings, so there will have to be staged stunts and scenarios in order for it to look interesting, so the candor we were getting from those YouTube vids back in '11 and '12 probably won't happen. Now "the special connection I have with my lambs" just sounds like a regurgitated line that doesn't carry that much meaning and it's disappointing. (Thursday 7 April 2016; 21:06)

I can see how none of it would matter while having your pic taken with her but now that it's over and done, you're absolutely right to be dissatisfied. This is supposed to be meet and greet, not photo and bye. I agree with Martyn too. Stella and management might be pulling some of the strings but it ultimately comes down to Mariah. I was pretty much out of money when they announced the tour (why would they announce it in the middle of the Christmas season when everyone has already spent crap loads of money?) so I couldn't do the meet and greet. It's sad to think lambs in different countries got differential treatment based on where they're shooting for the docuseries. The whole team including Mariah should've been prepared for giving each lamb enough time with her. People paid a lot of money for these tickets. Mariah should hold up her end of the deal too. Look at it like this, Mariah is equivalent to the queen of England, in a sense, or even, let's say, the Pope. She is willing to mingle with the "peasants" for a hefty fee, but only for a few short moments, then she must move on. She will never be one of us ever again. She is high above us now, she has been for a long time, and we just need to accept that. She was a "regular" or "normal" person at one time in her life, but she has been away from that for so long, that she is can no longer relate to us, or even cares to. It is what it is. To be honest, I don't believe that she "loves" her fans, in the true meaning of the word. She loves the money, and success, that her fans have given to her, plain and simple. As a fan you have to be willing to wait for hours for her to arrive, and pay hefty fees to be able to meet your idol. Is it really worth it? That's for you to decided. Mariah is not the same person she was long ago. It's obvious to me, not that there is anything wrong with that, it's just plain and simple truth. Now, please don't shoot the messenger.
