Re: Stella IG (60,837) (60,844)

I noticed that too Mimi L. As soon as I read the statement from "Mariah" on Brussels I knew it was all Stella. It's almost like she is playing with us now and doing it more to tick us off. Example all the posts about Mishka and filming and getting glammed up like she is the one people want to see. I don't know what is going on but I always thought Mariah seemed like a smart businesswoman who could see through certain things. The way this girl is literally always seen no matter where Mariah is, right next to Mariah. It's really getting disturbing. It seemed off to me back when she was on the yacht with JP over the summer and she never had any privacy. I really think she wanted the name of the show to be Mariah's Squad as in her and her daughters. Oh and throw in a little Kristopher B and a few others. But she wanted to be the star. I'm sorry, I may be wrong but I don't like the vibe I'm getting. And when you mess with fans and call them haters all over the internet because we are only looking out for MC, then you need to have a refresher course on how to deal with the public and I'm not sure if I were a star on the magnitude such as Mariah Carey I would want a woman holding peace signs with seeing eyes and duck faces and her tween daughter representing me.

Happy, happy birthday to one of the greatest artists ever known in the music world. All my best wishes to our empress. May she always be happy and surrounded by love, be a great mother to dembabies, all her problems solved and always be successful and continue to influence and touch people's lives, like she always did to us lambily. The woman is 46 yet be lookin like 26. Once again, happy birthday to our beloved diva.

I couldn't agree more. I really don't like Stella. Frankly, I knew very little about her until I saw her constantly being in Mariah's shadow and her being unprofessional. I would understand if she had to be there since it may be part of her job. What I don't understand is why her children are being part of Mariah's squad and constantly in the pictures with Mariah. Doesn't she go to school and why is she part of this tour? And I don't understand her behavior to the media. She is very rude and the way she disses people and let people wait. It's not a good thing. Mariah needs someone that will be though and determined, but you have to be smart too. And clearly having an attitude and pissing of media and fans is not the way to go. She certainly has not impressed me. A manager should be in the shadows, not visible. I really hope she does not live with Mariah. There should be a line between personal and business. When the lines are too blurred then bad things can happen.

Mariah checks Stella and puts her in her place. Ok, lol a bit of an exaggeration dahlings. Let's hope all works out well in the end. Remember Stella, if Mariah doesn't get her 19th #1 off the next record you're getting the heave-ho. I kid.

Eligibility for Best New Artist Award has always been questionable at the Grammys. They came under fire when Whitney wasn't even nominated back then, when Shelby Lynne won (her case even more controversial than Meghan's as she was around for an even longer time). I like Tori, she does strike me as a younger, less gifted Mariah. She gives more of a "serious artist" vibe while Meghan can come off as kitschy, especially on her first album. However, the latter has shown growth on her material for her second album thus far, something that I honestly thought she won't be able to do not because she can't but because it's often hard to move on from a specific, distinctive sound you have started your career with, let alone on your sophomore album. Being an artist is about taking the next step forward especially after considerable success, where it's tempting to just rehash the same formula (just like Mariah dove into R&B after Music Box, then into hip-hop with Butterfly, and then urban with Rainbow) even at the risk of alienating your fans. To be fair, I haven't heard any new material from Tori Kelly's next album yet and I'm ready to be surprised (she better do something interesting with that great, malleable voice as clearly her first effort isn't really doing much for her), but for now I can rest knowing that this year's Grammy for BNA wasn't just wasted on someone undeserving.

Wow. I hope she meets a real Russian dictator that puts her in her place because she's not a star, she's a manager that is using Mariah to gain fame and stardom for her and her kids. Mariah start wising up, she's using you and this reality show to gain fame. Fire the Russian.

Oh wow, I didn't read these until I saw G.G. and L.H.'s post. Check out the comments on this picture. People are finally calling Stella out. She also confirmed that her quote in Page Six was true. "Don't believe all the shit you read, that's how they sell papers baby, that's what I tell them to [censored] off." And woah did she just say "you couldn't walk in my shoes for a day or afford them", everyone may not be able to afford Louboutins but dahlin' even you can't walk in your own shoes (literally). Lol even Mariah's manager now has a guard to help her walk. Next we'll see little Mishka also has her own security detail. I am also a little disappointed that Mariah let Stella write the message about cancelling her Brussels concert. The line "eternal love, laughter and light" is Stella's line and she uses it a lot in her posts.

Stella is trying to make the hashtag "Mimi and Mishka" happen. It's beyond pathetic now. There is absolutely no doubt any more that she is trying to use Mariah for fame. Previously it was just a doubt. I really need Mariah to just tell Stella to tone it down now. Seriously, Rae Rae's kids were around Mariah too but did we ever see them at events and everything? Why does Mariah even need a 13 year old in her "squad"? This is turning into a joke. Stella's daughter posted a picture with the caption "She is my favorite Russian dictator." Like girl how many do you know?

Now Stella is in Instagram insulting fans. Lol. The very people that buy Marian's music, merchandice and concert tickets. If it wasn't for the fans, Stella wouldn't even have her job. I hope MC fires her ASAP. She is tacky and unprofessional, and is a horrible representative for Mariah. If she doesn't like what fans say to her then she should ignore them or just block them.

Thank you Andrew. I have been longing for months to this concert. I however believe the decision isn't just Mariah's. There has been intensive debating about the matter with the Belgian government and the U.S. Embassy in Brussels. I hope with all my heart they pick another date because after reading reviews, especially yours, this tour is a momentum for a new era. Love from Belgium. They can not take away our dreams.

It was a smart decision. She's a megastar and her tour would be targeted because of who she is and because her fans are mainly women and gays. She will reschedule.

Next year will be the 20th anniversary of Butterfly and I think Mariah should release a special collector's edition of Butterfly. Include the music videos, tour footage, and new liner notes with commentary about each song including the classic My All remixes and other gems from that era.

I like both. Meghan has better songs than Tori. The only song I've liked by Tori is Should've Been Us. However, Tori deserved the Best New Artist Grammy. How was Meghan even eligible? She wasn't a new artist last year, right?

She's a good artist but people tend to dismiss her because her first 3 hits sounded similar to each other (thus everyone said that she's not a good songwriter). I love "No" but I haven't heard "Watch Me Do". I prefer Tori though because idk why she reminds me a lot like 1992 Mariah.

I notice mad love for Mariah on YouTube. In her video comments there's a new wave of fans picking interest in her music. Makes me smile and nostalgic recalling how I discovered Mariah way back in 1997. That Butterfly tape was everything back then. Lol. Of course it eventually got worn and so I went out and got the CD instead. Lol.

Why not up security with metal detectors, etc? Then offer to donate proceeds to families of the airport attack? I suppose we'll see how this played out behind the scenes when "Mariah's World" airs.

I agree. As much as I appreciate her quick response to that insensitive fan made tweet conversation, I'm freaking out with her "another artist" label. She is Mariah "[censored]" Carey. She is not another [censored] artist, she is Mariah, one of the few artist you will recognize immediately by her first name. It pissed me off so badly that I can't deal with her right now. Is she afraid that she will only be a Vegas "show-girl" after her stint on AI so she do things like that to be talked about. After her "Mariah media tour" last time and now this, I can't. I adore her and whatnot but she's getting on my nerve lately, it's obviously intentional.

Well, they say that the lightening doesn't hit the same place twice. We doesn't know where the terror will be the next time. It could be anywhere in Europe or North America. I think Belgium might be the safest place for her to perform. Since Christmas it has been attacks in both Turkey and Belgium. I must admit that I didn't feel safe here in Oslo, the other day. We can't let them win, by feeling unsafe. Life must go on while we fight for peoples freedom. I hope all her shows will be held, and that all of you get to enjoy her show. Peace.
