What a way to kick off a tour pulling out some oldies but goodies, her confidence was definitely off the charts. Also she proved with proper care and maintainance Mariah still has the goods of her gift her amazing instrument. Here is to a successful European tour and beyond. On another note, We Belong Together from opening night wow.

Around the World (2002) / "reality" (60,491)
by Billy from Greece

For those who were quick to get caught up in the "reality" rumors, have you forgotten the VH1 special "What It's Like: Mariah Around The World" from the Charmbracelet era? It's not the first time Mariah has done this docu-series thing.

I really love Mariah's shorter haircut and brighter color. My first wish was for her original brown color and curls but this is a good alternative for now. I don't like her JLo-esque body suits. It's funny because lambs always claim JLo copies Mariah, but I think her wearing these bodysuits are the most overt way of coping a style that while isn't new is widely popularized by JLo. Mariah's weight loss looks great but let's be real and call it like it is - Mariah does not have a tight, toned dancer's body so should leave those costumes for JLo and Beyonce.

This woman is not messing around haha she means business. Just look at the guy in the background when she does the high falsetto in the climax. I love seeing her team excited and supporting her. The proof it's live is when she pulls her head back on the belt. She never stops amazing me.

When you believe Glasgow (60,484)

This song has always been my favorite duet ever but after watching this performance last night. Wow it hit me, am I glad to be part of the generation that got to experience two of the greatest singers this world will ever know? Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey sing a song so beautiful. The tears welled up as I watched the last of the true divas do what she does best, sing her heart out and connect with your soul. Thank you Mariah for singing this song.

Yes. I knew it, and I told you so. "When you believe" was great. I'm happy for the set list too, but keep it mind that it will change according to the charts of each country. Although I would loved to hear Honey. And just one thing about the outfits, she reminded me of Beyoncé which is not a critic but I would loved if there were a little skirt (I mean in the opening sequence and also during the black outfit segment) as far as my opinion matter, I'm satisfied.

Oh Mariah (60,482)
by Lee TS from USA

She looks good, sounding good. After her statement on the docu-series it seems like things are coming together. Besides her family stuff, it's exciting times for Mariah and the lambily. I never thought I would see Mariah in a JLo ensemble, gives me hope maybe she'll wear a jumpsuit one day, preferably for Andy Cohen. I love her finale look, very beauty pageant. I'm not really feeling the black ensemble because you can almost see her hello kitty. I freaked when she did Loverboy and happy she decided to bring back WYB. Keep it up Mariah.

I think one glaring miss from the set list is Without You. Didn't that song hit #1 in Europe? Anyways, if she is to tour Europe, her set list should include songs that hit the top 10 the mix that with obvious favs like ABMB, etc.

I'm really happy to see that she isn't standing there stiff to her up-tempo songs like Obsessed. Seems she has her confidence back. It brings a lot more energy to the performance when she moves. Either way it was great to see.

I love it. I can hear her singing the intro to the show, something real quick and catchy, "This is Mariah's world, oh oh, uh oh, oh yeah, it's my world." Ha ha anyway. Love the new title, love the new hair, she looks fab. Rock it MC.

Mariah is feeling herself (60,474)
by Marissa from USA

Yes (screaming from the top of my lungs). Mariah is looking so hot. From the videos I'm seeing, she is bringing a level of confidence to these performances that I don't think I've ever seen from her. That short glitter era Farrah Fawcett flip wig almost snatched the soul out of my body. I never thought I'd see the day where she'd change up her hair even if it was a wig. I love it. The silver Swarovski crystal leotard is life. Her voice is on fleek. I'm so proud of her and wish I was in Glasgow witnessing this greatness live.

The hair. I love Mariah with this length. It makes her look younger and freshens her up. I love it. Really takes years off her. That opening ensemble is hot. I remember first seeing Mariah come out into the audience opening with Heartbreaker during the Charmbracelet tour with that draping silver two piece outfit. She looked like a diamond goddess. The other black outfit I saw looked amazing too. I'm loving the fierce MC. Cannot wait to see the behind the scene scenes in the E special. I am so excited about what is to come. I think it will really let the people who do not know Mariah know the inside side to her and hopefully this will do nothing but help her public image. I would love to go along with her in her planning stages of her wedding. Whether we like it or not, this is a part of fame right now and why shouldn't Mariah go with it? I'm really looking forward to hearing clips of AAO and WYB along with Loverboy. I wish there were a few more rare ones in there bit I'll take it. Really loving her look though especially the hair.

Bejewlled bodysuit and haircut (60,468)
by Giovanni from USA

I'm not feeling the bodysuit or new haircut. I mean she looks great but the bodysuit is way too J Lo-ish. I just can't wait until this tour is finished so she can began getting ready for the next era. 2016 will be Mariah's second coming.
