Re: Morgan, Alison, Mariah (60,427) (60,430) by Butterfly from
Yes, a house would be nice for Alison. Just so she's safe somewhere. If Mariah doesn't want to give her a monthly payment, she can send a package with food, daily needs every few days via Fedex. A house, food and medical care.

Re: New and fresh era (60,401) (60,429) by Warren from Trinidad & Tobago
You are so right. Hate to say it, but that little girl (A. Grande) was actually pretty good hosting SNL this past Saturday. I genuinely laughed a few times. Her J. Law impression was sick. MC needs to find a way to make herself relatable and funny to the general public again.

Stella (60,428) by Giovanni from USA
Lord, this whole Stella situation just keeps getting worse. She needs to be more classy and professional. She's managing someone very legendary and iconic. I really hope she does care for Mariah and her having more success. And not about getting her 15 minutes of fame.

Re: Morgan, Alison, Mariah (60,421) (60,427) by Lee TS from USA
I actually agree with what you said with Mariah financially supporting Alison. Mariah doesn't even have to lift a finger and money is no object to her, especially since she's getting married to a billionaire. Like, Mariah can set Alison up with a comfortable home out in the country, think of Billie's mom in the end when she cleaned up her life. And Mariah can even hire a handler or conservator to control the funds so Alison doesn't go sneaking around doing God knows what. And they can report back to Mariah on Alison's progress assuming she goes to counseling, etc. She doesn't have to be in contact with Alison whatsoever. Ugh, it's just tragic. Here you have one sister living the glamorous and fabulous life while the other is a total mess. Mariah doesn't need to do anything for Morgan but hopefully one day they can all reconcile. Hope Alison can triumph through these health issues.

Re: Shawn Mcdonold (60,422) (60,426) by Giovanni from USA
And why should someone give their siblings a monthly salary just so they can blow all the money on drugs or alcohol? From what I've read over the years, Mariah has done more than enough for Alison. I don't usually like to comment on family matters because I feel it's none of my business. And I don't know Mariah personally. But I just wanted to make a point. Alison is a wrong ass woman capable of taking care of herself. She comes off a very lazy individual. I'm not about to support a brother or sister hooked on drugs who won't make the effort to get help. There's only so much a person can do. I don't feel sorry for her at all.

Stella / noise (60,425) by Chicago Lamb from USA
Stella and the new team is the best thing that's happened for Mariah since Benny Medina. Everything else is just noise ie tabloid bs, etc. Finally Mariah has a solid team with a solid vision and she's moving forward. Be happy about it.

Morgan, Alison, Mariah (60,421) by Butterfly from
Morgan, Mariah and Alison all had a bad childhood. Thankfully Mariah is rich and never have to worry about money. I'm sorry but that's your sister. I don't care what she did in the past, present. You buy her a house, send her a monthly payment for her daily needs and pay her medical bills. [...] Let Morgan and Alison sign a NDA. Take care of them. You don't need to be in their life just let them have an easier life. Alfred would have wanted that. You don't go to fancy restaurants when your sister, mother is living in a car without food and a roof. What kind of person are you? I could never do that even if my sister, mother or brother hurt me. You don't have to be in her life but at least make sure she has a roof, food and medical needs. If she dies her family will send tweets or whatever how much they loved her blah blah blah but does it matter? She needs you now when she's broke. I don't think Alison and Morgan would have gone to the tabloids if she just paid them a monthly payment. What's 5k a week for Mariah? A 1 million house? She can't sell her house if it's on Mariah's name. Mariah doesn't owe them anything but still wouldn't it be nice if Alison had a beautiful house, a car and a monthly payment to be well taken care of?

Morgan and the article said what? (60,420) by Nikki from usa
I'm still rolling from the "six months" thing. Mariah and Nick were married for 6 *years*. Are we just making things up as we go? Nick hooked up with Mariah because MC thought he was cute? That's funny, because I could've swore I saw Nick on shows throughout the years naming MC as his celebrity crush before Mariah knew who he was. More to the point, why can't Morgan help out with his sister's bills? When has he ever helped her? After all he's "independently wealthy" like Mariah is according to their father which is why he left $600,000 to Alison in his will. Sure, she blew through it in 2 years flat and was found hooking again by '05, but that's not the point. How did Alison afford to be in Hawaii? Where is that money coming from? Mariah's mother has no problem contacting Mariah and how come we haven't heard Morgan say anything about her? Is she by Alison's side? The only thing I don't get is if Morgan hasn't talked to MC in 2 years and MC has cut him out than there isn't a "refusal" to do anything she's simply not reading or accepting anything with their names on it. If Alison hasn't gone through with this surgery yet as these articles claim she needs it done and not had it done than there isn't a medical bill for it yet. Sounds like they're trying to get cash.

Morgan (60,418) by darrian liu from taiwan
Wow. Just wow. I'm amazed by his persistence on trying to blackmail money out of Mariah and selling out on his own sister to gain money. Selling bad stories about Mariah? Mariah has helped Alison and Morgan lots of times. Where the hell did that money Mariah gave to Morgan to start a business go? I'm not even sure that he actually used it to start a business. And Alison should've kept her mouth shut, remembering the numerous occasions where she misused the money Mariah gave to her and remembering Mariah basically raised her son. So I guess Mariah is an alcoholic evil witch who's obsessed with her Jack Russells and diamond rings to them now. Glad to see that people give their support to Mariah.

What I love about Mariah (60,417) by Travon..SweetSweetFantasy from USA
What I love about Mariah is she pays the tabloids dust regardless of how bad they make it seem. She trusts her fans and the general public not to come to judgement. I am telling you the woman just doesn't care for it. Mariah just posted this on facebook after not posting for like 3 weeks. "I've arrived in Glasgow. Excited to see my lambily and kick off my Sweet Sweet Fantasy tour." From what I hear on UKMIX and several outlets her venues are selling out quickly in Europe. Last I heard there were only 300 tickets left in Birmingham. O2 arena is close to being sold out. Slay them with music my lamb queen.

Getting out of hand (60,416) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
This is getting out of hand. But well Stella should have known that when she unwittingly decided to call out a tabloid magazine. Now they will dig up dirt on her and her family, exaggerate stuff and print it because obviously tabloids are trashy as it is and if you are going to go out call them "idiots" they will jump on you more. I am still scratching my head over why Stella decided to lash out at the tabloid. The story wasn't negative about Mariah so she wasn't protecting Mariah, she was protecting herself. And if this was a publicity stunt to get more hype for the reality show, I swear I'm done, because I would never want Mariah's brand to stoop so low that she has to invite "ratchet-ness" and publicity stunts. Also if there is a pinch of truth in the whole "Stella filmed a pilot for her own reality show a while back", it fuels my concern about her being a fame seeker.

Re: A bitchy man is never cute (60,406) (60,415) by Sarah from Netherlands
You've never seen her brag about het success? You've never watched her on AI? Don't get me wrong, I think it's totally within her right to talk about her achievements. Funny how there's a double standard that with women it's called bragging though, while men can just "talk about their successes". But yeah, I digress. She does brag, albeit with carefully chosen words. And she totally can, she worked for it.

Re: Reality show (60,410) (60,414) by Gilles from Malta
Hello, yes a documentary of this kind, putting the artist side first row. Creativity from scratch, rehearsal, working on samples, making some sequences, working on remixes or working on some demos, ideas from MC and differents musicians or producers, collaboration with others artists, details from the tracks. Something we can find for example in the TV show EmpireĀ (that's why I think it is so popular), some raw moments, piano and voice (I realized that everybody enjoyed the performance in Vegas of Thank God I Found You, because it is a raw moment and she let the emotions and her voice go), or for example everybody turned very excited when we got the trailer for The Art Of Letting Go shot as a vintage movie, MC in front of an orchestra that was wow. What I want to say, now a day we all know MC from the outside, TV, magazines, web and other media, but I would prefer to know her in a better way from the inside. That's one of the reason why I loved her when she started. We have that connection only when we have a new album because of the lyrics and her music. Anyway I hope it will happen.

Disgusted by Morgan's antics (60,413) by Marissa from USA
I am disgusted by Morgan's smear campaign against his own sister. First the "she's an out of control drunk" accusations during the period when her image and career was rising from the ashes, now she's some horrible person that doesn't give a shit about her family? Mariah's a witch, but Morgan's just gonna leave out the fact that Mariah has ensured that Alison's son has had a normal and prosperous life in comparison to the life he would have had with his mom? That's the ultimate good deed that you can do: taking care of someone's child when the parent is in a bad place. Not to mention that Mariah's helped Alison numerous times and those were usually life or death situations as well. He's using Alison as a pawn in his campaign to ruin Mariah's image. He doesn't care about her. And if he truly wants to help Alison, talking shit in the news about your richest family member is the dumbest move you can make. Any glimmer of hope that he had that Mariah would step in has been sabotaged by his big mouth. Does anyone understand the concept of loyalty? As many opportunities that journalists have provided for Mariah to talk trash about her siblings, she declined every single time. If he really does have beef with Mariah, fight fair. Don't take it to the press when she's never done that to you. (Fun fact: Isn't it strange that Mariah would always say that Morgan hates when she talks about him publicly, but now he can't shut the hell up himself?).

Re: Morgan (60,409) (60,412) by Lee TS from USA
I know it's not Mariah's responsibility but no matter what that's her sister, her own flesh and blood. But besides M, isn't Shawn a successful lawyer? I'm sure he can help with his mother's medical bills too. It's all around sad however you look at it. But if Mariah does turn a blind eye to this situation, then I guess we can expect Sunflowers for Alison on the next album. I hope Mariah tries her best with the kids, the cycle can continue and this could very well be Roc and Roe in the future.

Blackmailing Mariah through media for money (60,411) by May from Denmark
That's what I feel Morgan is doing, blackmailing her with spilling trash stories to the medias about their private life, as if anything that came out of his mouth was truth. Why can't he just keep it in private? Does he really need to go and do a smear campaign to get Allison money? And what about him? What he has done with his life? Didn't Mariah give Morgan money to set up a business? What happened with that? The "witch" made it disappear? Where was he when Allison refused to go to rehab after Mariah asked her to clean herself? Oh sorry, he was somewhere with a bottle in hand. Mariah helped her on so many occasions, she even took care of Allison's children while Allison was doing who knows what. It is so sad to see her own family always trying to rip her but zero thanks publicly when she does. If he can't contact Mariah through her business associates, what about their mother? Or he doesn't speak to his own mother no more? Mariah is obviously not unreachable. And some people dare to judge Mariah because the words of a man who has been in a hole for years. The least Mariah needed this year was something like this. Lucky, a lot of people are not responding to his pathetic begging and are supportive of Mariah. No body truly knows much of what is going on but it has always been known that Mariah did help her sister over and over and even warned her on an occasion too. Their mother Patricia must carry a pain none of us know, because what mother wants to see their children ripping apart each other. He calls Mariah heartless but clearly cares zero about breaking his mother's heart. Jealousy and envy of someone's success, even within family, can be truly corrosive. Maybe if Mariah stopped giving money to her sister was because at the end, she was doing nothing more than financing her addiction, reason why she told her to go to rehab. One day we might know the whole long story, but I'm certain that Mariah is not the witch Morgan wants her to appear.

Re: Reality show (60,397) (60,410) by May from Denmark
I do enjoy watching her behind the scenes because it is also part of her job, it's all the job we don't get to see every time she presents herself on stage. Pretty sure they will show mostly the fun aspects of it but perhaps to keep people on the edge they might do before a "drama before commercials", maybe Mariah wardrobe breaking last second or seeing how she inadvertently leaves the stage for a moment to go backstage to get fix her mic or something and how she deals with it. I don't ever believe it is just "standing and singing", we never have been really shown her dress changing processes and such like Celine Dion in one of her specials, I thought it was interesting to see all the work being done out of the stage. I know what you mean with the track list acoustics sessions, it is always nice to see that. Something like this you mean? It is really nice seeing her working in the studio. But the thing is that, even if she was prepping a new album, they can't show that aspect in the "reality-docu-whatever is going to be" because that would be giving the songs away. Hopefully they will manage a way to still make it fun, interesting and depicting the work of the singer and not just some childish ala Kardashian over the top drama for a broken nail.

DailyMail already has 1200 comments on this unfortunate Morgan situation. Mariah is being well represented in the comments section. About 95% of the comments don't think Mariah should help her siblings at all. People are reasoning well.

A bitchy man is never cute (60,406) by Edward from USA
If Shaw really tweeted: "It's not a rivalry if one artist has several albums that, individually, have sold more than the other artist's entire collection. Tea." And "I still don't know her", more than hilarious, it sounds as if it came from very bitchy person, trying to hit below the belt making comments about something that is not relevant to whether Mariah knows Jennifer or not. Mariah has gone through her career and her numbers have spoken for her time and time again, she doesn't need a clown to make her look like the people who are closed to her are bitchy and somewhat uneducated. I've always thought Mariah kept her class by not reacting on any of Wendy's comments, that's how you do it. If Shawn really tweeted those things, he should be working with Wendy Williams, I don't see the difference. Mariah has thrown shade, yes, but she's always been classy in her approach. I've never seen her brag about the millions she's sold or her success, I'm pretty sure the whole world knows that. And by him tweeting those things it is clear that Mariah really doesn't have anything to do with Jennifer, which is her right, but that was for her to say. I don't think this is the time for a catfight between Mariah and Jennifer, I think those 90's days are long gone.

Docu-series not reality (60,405) by Nikki from usa
I'm no fan of reality shows and it's never sounded like Mariah is either. However, a documentary and a reality show are complete opposites. This seems to be one of those things where the media sticks to what it's used to talking about. Like when they kept calling "Glitter" a "biography" no matter how many times MC put it on blast that it wasn't about her life. The media is used to reality shows, but from what's been said this isn't one of those. Mariah's done behind the scenes before from one hour specials to simple extras from DVD's usually of tours. All artists have. This would be the first time someone's actually turned it into a series though. Following MC's schedule behind the scenes in Vegas and throughout her tour in Europe along with all the things that pop up organically on the regular as last minute obstacles could be really unique and insightful. However, if Stella turns this into another Being Bobby Brown or Britney Spears' Chaotic than I'll have to pass.
