It is legit. But details are not known as of now. Last I heard tickets go on sale on the 17th of December, maybe we will get an announcement soon.

Silly criminal (58,363)
by Ben from Sweden

This is no joke. Mariah broke into a fan's computer during her mega-sucess of The Emancipation of Mimi, and stole audio-clips of his singing and featured it on a remix of "Say Somethin'" (So So Def Remix). Here's the proof. The fan sings, and calls himself "Melovi". His nickname on the was "Lafa".

The case of the shrinking waist line (58,361)
by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
| |
|
|
Umm how did this happen? Look at that killer waist line. Mariah has been looking all sorts of gorgeous lately (not that she is ever ugly but you get what I mean). She is coming to snatch everyone's wigs (or real hair, which is rare in Hollywood, but whatever). Her fashion is on point, her makeup (which in the middle kind of was a little off) is now flawless and fierce, her hair is like sunshine (love the big waves, compared to the worn out mermaid curls). I have to know who is dressing her nowadays. They are getting all the clothes right. They fit her like a glove and bring out the best off her body. I love the dress she is wearing in this photo. She has lost so much weight and is fast approaching her E=MC2 era look (yes I think she is at her 2013 level now). And y'all actually thought that she gave up on her looks (maybe even I thought that we won't get the 2013/ 2008 look again). But damn did she shut everyone up. The queen is back everyone. Now all we need is a huge musical comeback, and if anyone knows how to make a comeback, it is the Mariah-freaking-legendary-Carey. *ends fan girl moment*

Wait wait is this picture legit? I live in South Africa and I haven't heard she's coming here. If it's true I'm going to die of happiness right now.

Beacon show was... (58,358)
by enwar00 from usa

Amazing, festive and uplifting. Lambily I don't think the YouTube clips do it justice honestly. This woman leaves me in awe live and I am thankful she continues to share her magic with us. I wasn't expecting to be transported back to 1996, because who on Earth stays the same really, but whatever vocal issues were going on last year seemed like a thing of the past tonight. I had chills for half the show and if I had to pick one highlight it'd be O Holy Night, and We Belong Together of the non-holiday songs. I'm fortunate enough to have seen Mariah on all her tours she's brought to Chicago, but it really was a treat to hear the Christmas songs in concert. She truly seems to have become a part of the holiday season. The Beacon Theater itself is beautiful and intimate. The experience makes me even appreciate the alleged trolls of the board, for deep down inside despite the cynicism they love Mariah too and hold on dearly to the memories she's provided them.

Re: Acting brand new (58,331) (58,357)
by Baby from Dreamville...Where There's No Beginning & There is No End

Not once did you compliment Mariah's many amazing performances at the inaugural Beacon shows last year. Not once. But now all of a sudden "we are Lambily". You're such a hypocrite when exactly a year ago you (on December 4th, following Rockefeller) were writing many several consecutive posts like this one: "I'm with you G. G. I'm sick of these excuses. If shaky performances were extremely rare for Mariah I would look for an outside circumstance to blame as well, but this is nothing new. There have been numerous performances that I've cringed at even when she was indoors, was in perfect health (no colds), etc. Her voice has changed. Period. I will always be a lamb, watch her interviews and performances but let's just face reality. I know that a lot of people are trying to hype up the performance because they know that when MC gives a bad performance it makes us look bad, but come on now. " At least Andrew is consistent with his posts. You were wrong for counting out Mariah like she was an old clock winding down. I told you you were wrong and you intimated that I was being condescending and elitist. I was being neither. I was just loyal and smart enough to know you never ever discount Mariah. Especially on such weak grounds, and dem grounds are always weak BTW. If Mariah responded positively to negativity then my point would be moot. But she doesn't, so why then is being loyal, consistently in Mariah's corner, rooting for her and defending her from ubiquitous attackers with sketchy motives discouraged? It's the easiest job in the world when you actually like both her music and persona. You couldn't pay me to stop even if you donated millions to my favourite charity. Last year, as you well know (because I made sure you knew) Mariah was suffering from a cold while in icy wet weather two days in a row in the midst of probable divorce drama and the painful recovery of her body from multiple debilitating injuries. You and your friends had absolutely no compassion for her at all then. Some of you don't even pretend you do now. For some reason she deserved no mercy from a so called "supporter" when so many in the GP literally everywhere with a broadband connection, WiFi and smoke signals. were having a slice of her extremely overblown minor vocal issues with the purest glee that anybody with a heart and good sense would know better than to try and use against her at her most vulnerable. Let alone a supposed "fan". There is something to be said about loyalty. That's how come you constantly end up sharing yourself while trying to unsuccessfully distance yourself from your old posts. Next thing you know, you'll be saying how you think Vegas was always such a great idea. Same script, different day.

New music (58,353)
by Ardis Logic from Earth

I love to hear those two words, "new music", it just makes my eyes get wide and peeks my curiosity. During the "Me I am Mariah" era, it seems like she was in a sad state of mind. Now she has a new man, and she seems to be in a very good place right now, and happy. I love when she makes happy music. I can't wait to hear, her new music.

I agree some people seem stuck. I am objective, not deluded, and many times I've kept some opinions to myself because it brings nothing to the table. But nobody can deny that she hasn't improved. She is doing amazing, she seems to be more in control of her voice and is sounding very clear. I don't know what she must be doing to regain the power of her voice back and such cleanliness in her voice, don't think anyone knows, but whatever might be, it's working and I applaud her effort. I will stick to the positive things because she is showing a change, and willing to go for more. I love how she hasn't give up and didn't go into hiding but rather is trying to fix the situation. I really can't wait for new material in her current state, I wouldn't be surprised if she has been already working on something.

Does anyone know where this photo came from. I don't remember ever seeing this photo shoot. It reminds me of her "Glitter" era shoot from which the "Loverboy" cover came to be. Not the face (the face is very TEOM era) but I don't know why the photoshoot reminds me of the "Loverboy" cover shoot. Anyways I feel like this is a new shoot, maybe the one David La Chapelle teased us about? The similarities could come from the photographer being the same. I don't know. Anyways if someone knows about the shoot, let me know.

All I Want For Christmas - Beacon Theater 2014 (58,343)
by 123 from USA

This was Mariah's performance of AIWFCIY on the final day of her 2014 run at the Beacon Theater. This has got to be the best performance of the song in years. I love how she keeps singing even after the song is over and goes for the belts instead of giving you a whispery vocal and making up lyrics and improvising. "What More Can I Say", "Feliz Navidad". She is already sounding better on her first night this year versus 2014. Can't wait to hear how she sounds on the final show of her 2015 run.

Pap photos vs video (58,342)
by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
| |
|
|
I think we can also safely say she is at least a couple of pounds lighter than what we see in the paparazzi photos. In the pap photos of her making her way to Busta's concert, she looks wider, but if you check out the video from the same night of her performance wearing the exact same dress, she looks way thinner and very close to the instagram shot she posted. It's good to see her feeling confident again and hopefully people will now keep quiet about her giving up and not caring about her looks.

Ugh (58,341)
by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter

This picture is straight out of 2005. Like how does this woman stay so gorgeous. I love this dress that she has been wearing to the show, along with the sexy red number. The gold dress just hugs her and let's go at the perfect places. Her hair is perfection. That skin is flawless. Like girl bye, I can't deal with these high standards of beauty she is setting. The woman doesn't age. She is looking better than ever with each passing day but what is adding to her beauty the most is that she looks like she is finally happy and free in some way. I said this before, and I will say it again, she better get a music video done real soon and release it to rub it on people's faces. Plus can we please get started on the much delayed photo shoots. Where are the magazine covers yet? Stella, when are we getting a glimpse of the MAC photo shoot boo?
