You heard murmurs here and there but nothing confirmed and she stayed silent. Then out of nowhere the song and video are out at the same time out of nowhere. Then the next day she performs the song on the Superbowl halftime show in front of millions of people. Smart. Mariah needs a roll out like this on the next single, the song just needs to be hot. There are many other singers who have excellent vocal capabilities, but most of the time I find myself simply impressed by their technique. That's it. With Mariah though, not only does she possess a rare instrument, but she has a way of speaking to you. Her songs go beyond the ears and reach the heart. Maybe it has something to do with her writing her own lyrics and composing her own melodies. But it's a rare gift that I've found only Mariah can do, at least for me. (Monday 8 February 2016; 3:27)

She has not done the original since the Daydream era. That version was more popular in Europe, as far as I'm aware. The name of the tour itself reflects that, if anything. Mariah singing Rainbow (Interlude) (59,666) by Familitchi from France I felt something in my heart as she sang it and it almost made me cry. So beautiful. That song is amazing. The whole album "Rainbow" was very spiritual to me, Mariah used many nature sound effects in the album such as rain or birds singing. Also for me this album marks the beginning of a new style for Mariah, I feel like Rainbow is the album where she started harmonizing the most. Mariah was coming into herself a lot, finding herself/her true personality and she started asserted herself as in "can't take that away from me". I love the whole theme of the album, the symbol of the "rainbow' which feels so hopeful and bright, as well as her little message on the cover where she talked about human beings: "In a perfect world Human beings would co-exist Harmoniously, like a rainbow A multitude of colors Each layer vibrant and clear by itself But in unison… Boundless, breathtaking, celestial" 16 years ago this still holds true, let's forget about race/ sexuality/ gender/ nationality etc and just all get together. The art of letting go of former collaborators (59,664) by Baby from Dreamville...Where There's No Beginning & There is No End Why is it so difficult for some people to let go of the idea that Mariah will ever work with those who failed her as a friend, collaborator or both? Why would she have to when she has proven it doesn't matter who she's paired with to make it to #1? It's probably harder on Mariah when things go sour because it's personal. The rest of us, lambs andwWolves alike, have no skin in the game at all. There is a reason most of the ex-collaborators (they who shall remain nameless) are always positive to work with her again, while Mariah herself stays mum. That should tell you all you need to know and remove any motivations for wanting future joint musical ventures. But, it seems some of you will push for her to work with people who have betrayed her as you could care less about her well-being. The We Belong Together comparisons were unwarranted however ever ballad she releases will be compared to it. You're Mine (Eternal) has a huge chorus and it's as catchy as the flu. Everything is black unless she's performing or on the beach. It's boring and unnecessary since she's lost the weight.
