Children that young are more or less synonymous with whomever is their primary caregiver, in most cases that is the mother, i.e. Mariah. Why would he be more involved in the kids lives now that they are living lives so separate he isn't even privvy to their changing living arrangements? James Packer is probably around the kids more than any other male, apart from in-house employees. Certainly a lot more than Thirsty. For children that young, actual physical presence is what counts as they form memories that in turn will inform who they will grow into as full human beings. We only have to look to Mariah's own childhood to see how the absence of a male father (figure) can be problematic later on. I think Mariah is very conscious of who she brings around her children, especially as her significant other. I'm glad she has seemingly found a true partner in her life. She was just so obviously lonely in yet another loveless marriage on top of being the only real parent to baby-children for so long. It's showing in her whole deportment that she's been energised by the drastic changes in her personal and professional life this past year. I love when she is a confident go-getter and loves herself. That's how we got Butterfly. All the haters, who used to suck the life out of her with negativity, seem to have been weeded out one and left her room to breathe for the first time in much too long. We love this because when Mariah believes in herself, she's literally unstoppable. And I can't wait. (Friday 13 November 2015; 21:01)

If you are calling Nick Thirsty then he has a right to know and approve of anywhere his children live. Mariah and her team actually are coming off as thirsty with these constant TMZ tidbits. I don't think TMZ just naturally is interested in her and her "billionaire". They seem to be trying to get people interested in this narrative IMO. (Friday 13 November 2015; 20:07)

Instagram is not just for promo, it's for memories, accomplishments, life or what ever the hell the artist wants to post. I would fill my gallery with favorite moments from all of my life too. Mariah is all about the nostalgia. It's not "useless" or "pointless". It's fun to look back and filling your space with your legacy. It's also kind of fun to know what Mariah would post if there was instagram in 1997, you know? Take a chill pill lambs. Maybe you guys should post and keep tagging her with your fav pics with your fav ensembles. Who knows Mariah loves a great shot, she might re post it if its really a gem. How long were Nick and her together? We cannot just say Nick is the bad guy in her life now. She saw something in him all those years. I felt that with Nick she had to act a lot because he was younger, maybe insecurities? I don't want to assume anything regarding that, apart from that it is the past. I have to add that I can't forget that picture where Mariah is shoving her booboos in Packer's face on the yacht while laying down on top of him, and obviously the guy was in heaven hahaha, so really we can't say there's no passion. If anyhing, I think she learnt from the situation and prefers to lay low and keep whatever happens in the relationship between them this time, and not so publicly, Nick loved the camera, Packer doesn't. Love story (57,780) by Rene from US I don't like to assume anything about Mariah's love life. We can say so many things. Nick had less cash than Mariah. But Packer has more cash than her. I do have to say Mariah seemed more into Nick than she does with Packer. At the end, Nick was immature and stupid though. I cringed when he talked he had been with all these girls on that radio show. He was too young to marry anyone. I see Nick as a hard working guy. Mariah was so in love she wrote "Love Story" and "The Impossible" about him. I wonder if she'll write one for Packer. I think she got the Motolla thing with Packer. It doesn't seem as passionate as with Nick. She just says "It's fun" with Packer. How many clips of her speaking of how she was all in love with Nick? He has been out with multiple women, spoke about all the woman he smashed publicly, spoke about details of their marriage Mariah hated to speak publicly about, and never could stop talking Mariah this/Mariah that when it came to his career being discussed. He always has came across as a Mariah Carey opportunistic individual. He never could keep his mouth shut. Any level of non discretion doesn't work Mariah. As fans we should know that by now. I am calling it now. Finally, Mariah is in the headlines for good reasons. I have not heard or seen much of Nick Cannon since the divorce, except for AGT. Nick Cannon has an attention seeking personality that resembles that of a child. Mariah has a strong willed, insecure, and keep to herself personality that is masked with humour and what some call diva antics. She likes to be in her own confinement and do things her way. She has earned it and it's apparent she treats her life as such. Her name is more enormous than his. It's becoming more apparent as time continues to move on. Everytime I see him now, he looks tired and sick. He should focus on maintaining a good relationship with his kids and try to keep up because Mariah is currently steamrolling past the situation. He will always be in the kids life as their dad. Expecting any mother to see it otherwise is completely unrealistic. I have been there as a child and been through it. He realized he put a foot in his own mouth during separation and now he is trying to keep it out. That doesn't mean Mariah is responsible for him because she no longer is. Like someone asked earlier, we don't know if the divorce is finalized yet or if M was awarded full custody. Look, for the most part it seems they're making it work to the best they can. No one's bashing another and it's not a messy as hell. Look at Ben Affleck, Sophia Vergara, Gwen Stefani etc. Nick has been awfully quiet for the most part, we don't even know who's he is getting under to get over Mariah. If it was Nick parading his new chick on yachts and whatever, the lambs would have had a field day. Or if Dembabies were moving in with their new hot-young-model-play-step-mom-to-be, can you imagine? What Nick needs to do is take his 10 million and call it a day, or M pay him his 30 million for good riddance. M needs to pump the brakes a little bit too with Packer. "Thirsty" (57,776) by Sarah from Netherlands I'm getting real tired of a lot of people here bashing Nick. And I'm gonna list all the reasons why. (1) Yeah, they're getting divorced. Yeah, there's rumors and hints as to why. But does anyone know for sure? No you don't. (2) Suppose your friend breaks up after a long relationship and you start discrediting the now-ex immediately, including comments like "I never trusted him", "he's trash" etc. You completely neglect the fact that at some point, your friend really loved and chose this person. Don't invalidate the good stuff with disrespectful comments like that, it doesn't help. Chances are your friend will only feel worse about it all or doubt your sincerity since apparently you didn't feel the need to speak up earlier. (3) He's still the father of their children and that should be treated with respect. A bad husband (again though, that's an assumption) isn't necessarily a bad father and vice versa. Da Brat was on a Dish Nation the other day after TMZ broke the news of MiMi's new living arrangements with James. To refrain from putting words in her mouth I'll just post the episode she was on and let her speak (for herself or not ). She did a good job of not sensationalising a perfectly normal progression in a serious adult relationship. And why would Thirsty be entitled to privileged information about Mariah's love life anymore anyway, wasn't he the one who checked out of their marriage both literally and figuratively? I only pray that James is a truly spiritual man, unlike some of them other irregularities we've seen weasel themselves into her life through boldfaced lies. So I guess Thanksgiving will be their first official holiday together. Very symbolic. I also fully expect a joint WoolPac effort for this years Christmas card. I don't care if it's considered in poor taste. It's not their fault Thirsty is sabotaging the expediency of the very divorce he put in motion for his own personal (monetary) gain. There are already like 3-4 different available pictures. She actually seems to have lost some weight. For the "Game of War" she also did some promo pictures and even some "behind the set" professional ones where she appears in the armor posing with the staff and other actors, I think only one is available from that set. So I started thinking why isn't she doing new photo shoots? Is it because of her weight? Is she too busy? I believe this picture is from around the "Glitter" era? That just doesn't make sense to me.
