I'd love a club track. Her work with people like David Morales always leaves me astonished. Something summery feeling to crank in the car while the sun is shining would be absolutely awesome to me. Lol.

"Just watched Rene Angelil's funeral. Unbelievably moved. Love of your life. Christ. How moving. Good luck to Mariah and the billionaire love of her life." You're a real piece of work the way you use something as poignant as the passing of Celine's René to make a dig at Mariah. Sad, yet predictable. You probably won't know how compassion feels until it's too late.

So I saw this tweet of Mariah and I can't hold back my laugh because Stella is at it with the weird hashtags haha. It's clearly must have been "Roc thinks he's on a roller coaster movie night" rather than that, it's so hilarious haha. If her team will handle the social media accounts forever, they must attend a seminar on how to use hashtags and whatsoever. I miss the time when Mariah herself tweets, it's so real, no photos, no advertisement, no hashtags, just a pure tweet expressing herself. Way back to 2009, one friend retweet this from her: "Someone was disturbed by the lack of perfect grammar in my tweets. For the record, its a tweet, not a thesis, dear. Relax. I tweet on." Slayed.

I see Rihanna is wearing a crown on her new album, like a threat, I will be very sad if she surpasses Mc for most no. 1, her music is very dark, generic, she is very ambiciuos person and kind of ugly, Jay Z obviously is helping her, and that would not be fair since Mariah help him in a lot of ways, S he has achieved so much in little time, honestly the are better artists, don't know why US people download her, I saw on YouTube she is in the 666 circle, like Drake praising the 6 number, and I saw Adele's Rolling video, there is actually a demon on one of the walls, what is going on, thank God Jesus exists. .

So darn true. I remember seeing Bringing On The Heartbreak at the Mall of America and they were actually zoomed in on her face for the high note and remembered thinking I never saw that, plus she really worked to get that note out. Since then anything difficult she's hidden or zoomed out.

That's a very good point. As much as I like most of her new music and skip tracks on albums much less than the old ones, she needs a change in direction very badly.

Just for the nostalgia (59,481)
by Leito from USA

This weekend, I found myself in a nostalgic mood. I spent lots of time reviewing several of MC's liv awards show performances, from 1990-2015. I noticed around 2002ish, there was a change in her performances. We can all agree, when it comes to hitting certain notes, she's lost her confidence. I also noticed, there was a time she didn't care how contorted her face looked, she just sang the heck out of the song. However, there came a point, when she started covering her face, or turning around a lot. I believe this hinders her, from having flawless performances. She seems more concerned about someone catching her doing an ugly face. I wish she would go back to where she didn't care about looking pretty all the time. She needs to just sing her butt off and make moments. I know she still has it in her. She hasn't retired yet and I know she would love to have another hit. Most of the public (non-Lambs) already think she lip-synchs all the time. She needs to get down-n-dirty and slay the world.

Rihanna (59,480)

See this is what I keep saying. Rihanna s new song is fire. I am a Rihanna lover/hater because of Mariah. Rihanna has a very limited voice but boy does she know how to pick a hit. Forget about the album going platinum because we all know why. But the thing is she has potential number one songs coming it's scary. She knows she is close to overtaking Mariah so she is really hungry and thirsty for that crown. I understand Mariah is enjoying her new life and love, but she should not forget about the music. The music is suffering so bad. She should come up with something fresh and uptempo for a first release. A fresh new sound and maybe a 70s disco kind of feel. Enough with all those outdated bouncy shake it off kind of sounds. Please Mariah we need a big hit album from you ASAP.

I want anything that it doesn't have rappers this time. Too hard to ask? Haha. An uptempo beat would be nice. If she did a ballad, I would like the lyrics to speak of something else other than love. The only reason why I didn't give "Why you mad" more chances is because French Montana. He's unbearable.

Thanks for the inputs. I too want a upbeat, fun song with a big chorus and something catchy that gets people hooked. I don't mean a "Migrate 2.0" but something that is refreshing and something people can just have a good time with. Since fall is almost over and spring is approaching I'd like the uptempo song that people can blast on the radio. And like RJJ12 pointed out, it should sound well cooked and have a nice structure. I love "#Beautiful" but it does sometimes sound rushed and her last song (although unreleased) "Why you Mad" sounds like it ended abruptly. I would love her first single to be Mariah only (she can later remix it with a collaborator) but if she chooses to have a collaborator on the first single, I hope that MC takes up more of the song than the collaborator (unlike #Beautiful) or at least is present in the same ratio.

Haha oh stop you. *high pitched laugh like Mariah* Thank you so much. I can't with you all being so sweet. Appreciate the compliments. I took it down because it just looked odd that I had my picture and all the other pictures are of Mariah. So I am like, nah gotta go back to bowing down to queen MC.

Andrew you're joking right? Mariah has had a white publicist, backup dancers, video extras, singers (in her choirs), makeup artist, assistant etc. as well as asian, hispanic and other races. So she can very well speak on diversity mate.

I would like an uptempo fun song that's happy and festive. Something she can diva to and be fabulous. Something bouncy and catchy. Something more poppy then with a hip hop remix.

What the hell did you just say? What are you, ass-swipe, implying? As a mixed black guy that appreciates diversity of any race or thing, including white, I found your comment to be a bit of a stereotype, trashy, uneducated, and borderline racist. Just because Mariah hires black people, doesn't make her point of diversity any less [censored]. You look [censored] as you sound. She has white make up artists, her friends are white, her business partnerships are white, her business manager, Stella, is white complex and she has made great music within an extreme diversity of white and non-white alike. There's nothing funny or sarcastic that you should have gotten from her remarks. This isn't a damn game. This is a real issue. Her remarks are very real to every core, especially here in USA where everyone is still sensitive to several issues good or bad about races, female rights versus male rights, gay or straight preferences, religious freedoms, and several other issues that need diversity. Please understand what you say before you say it. The United States of America, despite our history of racist people and lack of diversity, is still the most diversely populated country in the world with several different cultures and backgrounds. This isn't the UK [censored], people here in the USA don't like to be stereotyped or called a certain way, regardless of any race. I am calling you out.

I would like a stripped down pop/throwback uptempo like Beautiful as her first single. Something that would be easily played on all formats. I would like for it to be really strong, with a catchy melody, good lyrics, and vocals. I would love something that you can tell was cooked to perfection instead of the rush job that Beautiful sounded. It had no bridge and ended early. Or maybe a combo of taking the bass of a club banger and mix it with some jazz like this song.

OK so you actually just proved the whole point. Diversity has to do with representation in the media, award season, on stage. What you seem to be suggesting is borderline appropriation. I can usually understand where you're coming from in your critiques, but this is just so very missing the point. Or maybe deliberately so. I hope so tbh.

Personally I'd like a ballad. I feel an upbeat or club banger wouldn't do much on the charts. A ballad or something on the lines of "Beautiful" would definitely have a more chance of being her next number one. I don't want another "It's like that".
