Empire (57,294) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter Mariah still hasn't shot her part for Empire according to the latest interview with one of the writers I think. It makes me anxious. I was so sure she would be in last season's finale and then got sad when she wasn't. But this year Lee announced it himself. But it was a premature announcement. I really hope it happens. Imagine the headlines because she is bound to make headlines. No one of Mariah's level has stepped into Empire yet. She'll be the first. (Thursday 15 October 2015; 13:06)

Dembabies and Sunflowers (57,292) by Lee TS from USA I love how Mariah lets her children be kids, they are so adorable and just cuteness overload. I love how Roc has this look like he's proud of his mommy and Roe rocking an Ariel t-shirt is so awesome. No shade to other babies in the land but Dembabies actually look like kids. Dembabies also have some gorgeous locks reminiscing the debut era. And yes to M rocking more of her milky skin tone. A little late but that pic of her in the kitchen with the pumpkin, she looks so youthful and natural there. Loving it. (Thursday 15 October 2015; 9:45)

Mommy Mariah (57,291) by Jono from USA I love every time Mariah posts a photo of her and dem babies (they're so big now they can't be called that anymore). For a public figure, Mariah is a great parent. Also considering the fact that she grew up in a broken home and went through a divorce, it's so good to see that she is still thinking of her kids first and foremost. I am so proud of Mariah in all that she has accomplished in her career, but her being a great mother has to be at the top. (Thursday 15 October 2015; 4:39)

Empire (57,290) by Jonathan from United States I think Mariah will play Lucious Lyon's sister because when they flashback to Lucious as a child he looks mixed and Mariah is mixed. I think she may be his Alison in a sense. Mariah knows what it is like to be famous and have family issues so maybe she told Lee her story and he felt inspired. The role would be totally opposite of who she is and show her acting skills. I think it may be too personal for Mariah to act out on television but at the same time the only people who would connect the role to her life would be lambs. She could go by Dande Lyon (catch the Petals reference and pun). What do you guys think? (Thursday 15 October 2015; 4:19)

90s MC vs. today's MC (57,285) by Jeff from USA I think that 90s Mariah would be very proud of what she has accomplished in her life. She has two beautiful children and has had the success that she could not even have imagined. She can proudly say that she has been a role model for the broken, the wounded, those who struggle with their racial makeup, those struggling with their sexuality, and for countless fans that have been inspired and moved by her music. 90s MC would be able to proudly say that she is at a place in her life that she can finally make the music she wants to make and is not dependent upon commercial success. 90s Mariah would be proud that the fragile butterfly emerged victorious. Re: I've always wondered (57,228) (57,283) by TJ from Norway 1990's MC would not have loved the 2015 MC. In old interviews Mariah focused on being a singer, not an entertainer. She praised the voice of big stars and she was humble and more down to earth. That's how I remember her. She had a God given talent, but she didn't tell the world that there was no one else in her level. I guess she need to get back to her roots before she makes a new album. Anyway: love her music from 1990-1997. Listening to her unplugged album as I drive around in Oslo (wondering why she didn't release more live albums), singing old tunes and remember how things used to be (I'm getting old). I don't mean your favourite songs but rather the songs that you think would have been successful singles. I'm not sure if this has been discussed recently. I was looking at videos of interviews of those two eras and her make up was on point. Even in 2013 and last year at the Beacon. She looked like she hadn't aged a bit. She truly is an ageless queen. I can not wait for a symphonic album in vinyl and CD. That 's my wish and request. For me it is a way to seal success. I know she did MTV but it is so passé. As every legend she will make it, I mean I hope and my fingers are crossed. George Michael did it, Barbra Streisand, Kylie Minogue, anyway. That 's my last and only expectation regarding MC music. Beacon Theatre (57,270) by Mara from United States Well I got my tickets, I purchased the Gold VIP package. I am really looking forward to seeing the show again and hope she adds some new classic Christmas songs in there too. I wonder if she will sing the same non Christmas songs too. Would be amazing if she did a meet and greet. How did the lucky few get to do that in Vegas? I am going to gift a ticket to my sister and my 7 year old who was mesmerized by Mariah last year and of course my husband. I picked the 17th since it is a Thursday and since we will be traveling late to drive home, at least it's a Friday and not the middle of the week the next day. I bet she will release some more shows the closer we get. Beacon Theatre is such a beauty in itself, add MC the queen of Christmas and NYC and how festive it is, it makes for such a magical night.
