But then again, I would consider her music post-1994 as urban. So I think she's trying to win back her old fans. If she wants to recapture the hip-hop audience, she should release something raw and tasteful, like Breakdown. Then again, I want her to make music that is true to her heart and completely satisfies herself. Also, am I crazy or shoes anyone else remember Maxwell insinuating he recorded some new music with MC back around December? I love him, so I could have imagined it but I do swear I remember something like that. I really would love that, I actually would love any unreleased music from MC's catalog to be honest. Posts (56,360) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter I wonder why Mariah is quite frequently tweeting out pictures and lyrics from her songs. Like "Heartbreaker", "Obsessed", "It's like that". She also put up the picture of the VOL single cover and asked fans to guess what single cover it was (as if there is a single lamb or even non lamb left in this world who doesn't know that iconic cover). Anyways I wonder if she is giving out some hints or what? The possibility of a surprise album gets me all giddy. She seems like she is recording behind the scenes. There is, I believe, a general feeling online, and in general, that Mariah is caught up in wannabe-ghetto a lot in recent times (Triumphant it was not) and much of it has been a mess in many ways. "Why you mad?" is the peak of this. Whilst I don't want to upset anybody, I always feel I should tell it how I, and others see it. The opinion that re-releasing Ones and Merry Christmas is good but doesn't in anyway marry with the current output is valid. If you find me offensive or disrespectful I invite you not to open my messages in the future. My actual name and face are always right there. My face alone should put you off. MCArchives was so great with the unique news scroll with all the Mariah stories going back to the 90's. 2. Is there a possibility for there to be cursors between the news stories like we have for the message posts? That would be brilliant. 3. And the member index is no more? Eric, will you please let us know if and when you have settled on what the template MCA's new brand is gonna be/ ook like? I just thought I might speak up since we got the discography section back only because you didn't realise it's part of the MCA brand and very much appreciated. I don't think it's a good idea to let kids get close to someone with the possibility of them leaving and it not working out. They already have parents that have seperated so it wouldn't do them any good if they started growing affectionate towards him only for him to leave. I've read that Mariah has known him for some time but it's only recently they've been dating. So it's probably still early days, especially with their lifestyle I doubt they get the same freedom to see each other compared to people who aren't famous. (Friday 28 August 2015; 17:40)

I just find it weird that they staged pics of him and Mariah kissing and feeling each other up, but they didn't take any of him dealing with the kids. On the first yacht trip you have pics of her playing around with the kids, but not him. It seems a little more important to show how this man is with my kids than him feeling me up in public. Maybe it's just me seeing this. lol. Before anyone claims I'm being unfair to Mariah, I would ask the same questions of Nick if he's with a woman who he's supposed to be in love with and you see nothing of her interacting with his children. She loves having people around and seems to never need alone time. I think it's nice of MC to let Stella bring her kids everywhere because I personally would be sick of any other kids being around besides my own. Now I get that she represents Mariah, but does that mean she has to be with her at every moment? And I mean no ill will with this, I am just finding it a little strange that even when MC is on a boat or in every country that she stops in, Stella and her daughters are right there with her. I would be sick of my own sister if she was there all the time. JP must be a very tolerant guy to have them all tag along with him and his new girlfriend every place they go. Maybe MC doesn't want to be alone yet? Maybe I'm reading too much into it. Lol I just know if I was nonstop with my own sister and mom who I do everything with, I would probably want to escape. My thoughts (56,340) by Adam from Usa So I've been reading everyone's posts about this and about that and I for one am happy for the re-release of Number Ones and her Merry Christmas album. Not because I don't have them but they are both being released on vinyl. As a collector of her vinyl these things are very hard to find and extremely expensive to buy new since they are all out of print. I guess this is just me looking at the glass half full. Would I like new music? Of course I would. But I'm not going to hate on projects that may connect Mariah to a younger audience and give people the chance to hear the magic that is her back catalog. Mariah is no where near done recording new music so we will just have to be patient. I can't remember who said this but I agree that the lambs are spoiled because we have always got new music almost yearly and what she puts out is so far beyond greater than anything that any of her peers do. I am a thankful lamb that is happy that I still have my fav artist twenty five years later. (Thursday 27 August 2015; 14:53)

New book (56,339) by Mirage from Unicornatopia I'm not mad at the idea of a Christmas book. I'd prefer that to a perfume or a HSN clothing line, not only because it is a bit classier, but it also feels more artistic for some reason. It's just another mechanism for Mariah to push her Christmas music and pass it on to a different generation, thus helping to secure her Christmas legacy for years to come. It's quite clever if you ask me. If Mariah is pushing her old music, via the updated Number 1's, Vegas and now through her Christmas music, perhaps that should tell her something. Shoving Infinity onto the end of the album makes no sense. It doesn't help to reconnect the audience. (Thursday 27 August 2015; 14:17)
