Skipped songs (54,204) by Bill from the UK
It is so weird reading songs people skip. Forever, Always Be My Baby, To The Floor. I love all these songs lol. B, love how you put entire albums in your list haha. Glitter has a lot of great tracks on it. Loverboy and If We are brilliant. Try giving them another shot.

MC is the highest grossing female solo live act right now according to Billboard (54,202) by Baby from Dreamville...Where There's No Beginning & There is No End
#8 on Billboard's current boxscore:
1. Venue: The Colosseum at Caesars Palace
2. City, State: Las Vegas, Nev.
3. Dates: May 6, 9-10, 16-17, 20, 23-24, 2015
4. Gross: $4,595,125 30,936 /32,597 8 / 4
5. Ticket Prices: $250, $175, $140, $55
6. Concert Promoter: AEG Live/Caesars Entertainment
7. Residences are M's forte it seems. I still want one in London at the O2 or Wembley Arena. Team Mariah needs to make this happen. But like everything else, someone is bound to steal that idea so I deleted the most potent content (as always). Sorry, no JLoing is gonna come from my posts. Team Mariah needs to consult with us international Lambassadors every once in a while. Some of us have excellent advise that makes dollars and sense. Creatively on the other hand, Mariah's instincts are on point. I wouldn't waste a second of my precious time on someone I constantly felt wasn't up to my standards like some of these stupid haters would have us believe. I wish Mariah would designate a live chat every quarter or so for lambs to leave suggestions to her directly without going through a middleman. It'll probably never happen but still, one can dream.

Gossip (54,201) by Manny from U.S.
Let's just say The National Enquirer has done its job if we as fans are still talking about this. I'll leave it at that. I am still thinking of the last May concert she gave in Vegas. I took some videos and I didn't know how much I sang along until I saw them. I had a blast and she sounded amazing. I hope I can go next month.

Ardis / Morgan (54,200) by Marcus from Brazil
Checking with Mariah's team before posting anything is what MCArchives shouldn't do. MariahDaily turned into a dead zone when they fell for that by encapsulating themselves into bubble of positiveness, and eventually it imploded. There's positive and negative news about Mariah, so why not posting them. Of course The National Enquirer is well known for getting things mostly wrong, so I see where Eric was coming from by not posting their story. I'm pretty sure if Morgan had any concern about Mariah, he would've used a better outlet to do so. Morgan is Mariah's dear bother for god sake, I'm pretty sure any credible outlet in the states would be willing to listen to what he has to say.

#1 To Infinity concert clips from May 23rd 2015 (54,199) by Baby from Dreamville...Where There's No Beginning & There is No End
Mariah sounds amazing. I really hope she has invested in recording and documenting her live performances through the years. And shout out to Bianca wherever you are. Now, there is someone whose return would actually be a legitimate comeback.

Bad blood: origin (54,198) by Baby from Dreamville...Where There's No Beginning & There is No End
Why are these malicious, slanderous and libelous rumours being spread since at least 2011 (read 1996)? Who all directly benefit from Mariah being mired in bad press? When do these stories tend to surface? How are they told: through which mediums and platforms? What is the endgame? How can Mariah reverse this damaging narrative without landing in legal trouble or looking like she "doth protest too much" a.k.a. defending herself? Where are her friends in the industry to speak up for her or corroborate her claims and what has happened to those who have? For every question, two more rear their ugly heads and the answers are even more prolific. The answer to all the questions is very simple. Tommy Mottola is the source of the outbreak. Mariah is patient Zero and morons who lack any discernment spread the virus like the zombies they are by flapping their gums. Meanwhile parasitic individuals latch onto the host bodies, copy DNA and ride the disease that is Mariah-Harteritis to great success.

5 least favorite songs (54,197) by Lee TS from USA
1) Boy (I need you) - I think if she had sung this in full voice I could've probably get into it. Too many whispers, not enough time to look up the lyrics.
2) Don't Forget About Us - I don't know, the lyrics doesn't do it for me. I liked it when it first come out but I don't care for it when she performs it. Next.
3) I Stay In Love - At the time the melody was very Beyonce to me. For a pretty ballad it just missed something for me, I prefer Lovestory.
4) Obsessed - The lyrics are cute but the way she sings and melody is very pedestrian to me.
5) One More Try - She couldn't match George's version. The vocals didn't deliver giving you the big vocal moments.

Bad articles go away (54,195) by Lee TS from USA
Ok, let me explain. The first article was when the New York Times went on a bashing spree of Mariah's opening night. Then the second article of Damizza selling Mariah out on Daily Mail. And now this Morgan mess. That's why I said what I said. Yes of course I get it's impossible to post everything about Mariah, totally understandable. I guess I just read too much into it, my bad. I love you webmaster.

MCA (54,194) by B from USA
Why would anyone want to read The National Enquirer? I come to this site to read articles by publications that offer biased opinions. I don't like the fact that the webmaster publishes articles from a certain site but it's not that deep. Give him a break. He runs this site, updates it daily, and monitors the message board. Eric is my hero. I've been visiting this site since 1998. It is my go to site for all thing Mariah.

Hiring fans, seriously, it could work (54,193) by Tiina from Finland
Did anyone see the fan-made music video for Infinity by TeamMariah on YT? It's a lot shorter but so much better than the original. Seriously, Mariah should think about hiring her fans to do videos for her. I'm not trying to bring her up again but I believe Beyonce hired one of her biggest fans, the YT star Todrick Hall, to do the choreograph for the video for her song Blow and he also makes a cameo appeareance in it. It's a little different than what lambs could do for Mariah but I think it's a brilliant idea to hire a fan, especially in Todrick's case because he's very popular among pre-teens, teenagers and young adults. Now he is constantly coming up with videos with Beyonce's songs, so he definitely has the rights from Beyonce to use them and it works well for the both of them. Mariah, think about it.

Re: webmaster / Mariah Carey Gossip Cop version (54,192) by Ardis Logic from Earth
First of all I meant no disrespect to this site by my previous post. I totally understand why negative Mariah stories are not posted here and I respect that. You asked "How do you know if a story is true?" Well I agree that is a tough one. I wonder how "Gossip Cop" does it? Maybe contact Mariah's team for confirmation, or make some kind of arrangement with her management to work with the Mariah fan site to "bust bad Mariah dish". I don't know. It was just a wild idea that I put out there.

Morgan, Mariah's entourage, Nick part 3 (54,191) by Tiina from Finland
The things that were said about Nick and the rest of the folks surrounding Mariah are not as far-fetched as the other allegations. First of all, Nick. Yeah, they were in love and have kids together but he used her. Even Mariah feels that way since she wrote Thirsty. No matter what she might say, that song is about Nick. I was recently watching an E. special on Mariah from like 2005 and at one point she was saying how lucky she was to have such "real friends" around her and then went on to name names. I sadly realized that they all worked for her and even though that was 10 years ago, some of those same people still work for her. It doesn't matter what they do, like sing background for her, do her PR, run around as minions distributing splashes or do her styling, makeup and hair, they still work for her at the end of the day. That's not healthy to have only people around you that you pay. I'm not saying that some of these friendships aren't real but they still want their cheques. They're never going to say anything that could jeopardize their jobs for them, even if that means sucking up to her or staying silent. Like, sometimes I wonder what her background singers really think about her lipping. How do they discuss it, like how does Mariah say that this is the part where the prerecorded track begins and this is where it ends and here's where I sing. I'd imagine that'd be humiliating in front of Trey or Mary-Ann. I bet it's one of those things that is off-limits.

Re: Gossip Cop Mariah Carey edition (54,190) by Webmaster Eric from the Netherlands
First of all, it's impossible to post "all" news stories about Mariah. The story about Morgan was on literally hundreds of websites. Secondly, how do you know if a story is true? How do you know Morgan didn't had an interview with the National Enquirer? I remember some gossip sites broke the news about Mariah marrying Nick, and many fans thought it was untrue (why would she marry a guy she ony dated a for a few weeks?). It was only confirmed days later. Thirdly, if someone writes a news article praising or criticizing Mariah's clothes or show, how can you label this "fake" or "true"?

"I paint topless while listening to Mariah Carey" (54,189) by Ardis Logic from Earth
This just made me laugh. I think Britney may have a girl crush on MC, who knows? I would love to see her art room. Sounds fun painting on the walls while listening to Mariah. I think I would keep my top on thought.

Gossip Cop Mariah Carey edition (54,188) by Ardis Logic from Earth
It would be so cool if someone could create a Mariah Carey fan site that would post "all" news stories, good and bad, positive and negative. Then after the story post if they believe that it's a "true" story or "fake" story. That way we wouldn't have to go searching all over for different news updates about MC. Anyone please feel free to take my idea and create this fan site.

Morgan, Mariah alcoholic? Mental health issues? part 2 (54,187) by Tiina from Finland
If she really did have a drinking problem, believe me, it would show. She wouldn't be able to hold herself together, let alone be a single mom and raise two kids and record and release a brand new studio album last year and another album this year as well as do the residency. And she literally just made a comment that right now she's trying to avoid alcohol to preserve her voice for the shows. But first and foremost, she would never allow herself to get wrapped up in a serious addiction that would cause hurt to her children. At least that's what I believe because she herself grew up in a tumultuous household, always feeling uncertain. And Mariah has always been able to get through difficult times by holding onto her faith, music and optimism. As for prescription drugs, well, she can sometimes come across as loopy and unfocused, which could be due to a medication. Certainly strong antipsychotic drugs like Zyprexa can cause that. But it could just as well be that she doesn't get enough sleep as she works hard and suffers of insomnia. Once again, Mariah doesn't strike me as being severly mentally ill as in suffering from psychotic episodes, so why would she be on an antipsychotic medication? She's definitely not schizophrenic nor bipolar. Of course we can't know for certain unless she tells us. Depression? Maybe. Only she knows. If she has mental health issues, I have nothing but empathy for her. For her brother to shame her about using a medication to treat it is wrong.

Album sales (54,186) by NHYTG from nyc
I just noticed that #1 to Infinity is down to #58 at Billboard's Album Top 200. Better than I expected, probably due to sales of physical cd's. Does anybody know if cd's sold in the Ceasars Palace shop are included in Nielsen SoundScan sales results?

Morgan, Mariah alcoholic? part 1 (54,185) by Tiina from Finland
First of all, if this is for real then shame on him. As Mariah's big brother, he's supposed to protect her. The only reason that I can think of that could explain this is that he hasn't been able to reach Mariah and is frustrated. But it's still out of character for him. What do we know about Morgan? That he's successful in his own right and (before these alleged comments) has always remained private. Alison is a different story and yeah, this kind of behaviour could be expected from her but not Morgan. As for the allegations, Mariah doesn't strike me as an alcoholic, although she sure likes those splashes. Okay, at times it has made me wonder if there's more to it, when in the past (especially last year) it seemed like she was either constantly sipping on champagne during interviews or seen holding a glass of bubbly in her Instagram and Twitter pictures. It's a slippery slope. Something that might have started as a glamorous indulgence every now and then (also keeping up with the diva image) or even having an occasional drink to calm down (which is never a good idea), could have easily turned into tippling. But drinking while pregnant and breastfeeding? Hell no. She didn't even go to Aspen when expecting because of the altitude and before that she went through a cleanse to get her body ready. And during the B. Scott interview she said that is she was pregnant she wouldn't be drinking. She miscarried her first, there's no way she would have risked her second pregnancy.

Late 1990s MC live (54,184) by Billy from Greece
Remember the performance of "Close MY Eyes" on the Rosie O'Donnel show? It's one of her most precious performances. As I re-watch several live clips of Mariah from different parts of her career, I can say that her lives from the late 1990s are rather undervalued. As a video that has recently been uploaded on YouTube also indicates (here it is by the way, though I don't necessarily agree with everything), her voice did not deteriorate in the late 1990s. It just matured, which led to a somewhat different vocal placement or technique, thus to a different sound overall, but one which to me is not inferior to what is usually considered her vocal peak. Looking at the Butterfly and Rainbow tours from a time distance, you have to appreciate the sound that she had then, which was deep, intense, and very expressive.

Non-fetch MC songs (54,183) by Todd from Sydney, Australia
Ooooh it's tough. And I'm probably going to get sentenced to death for these, but:
1 - Always Be My Baby. I have never ever liked this song.
2 - Want You from Glitter with Eric Benet. Ugh. Skip.
3 - Faded. Never understood the hype around this one.
4 - Babydoll. It's a skipper.
5 - The First Noel. I like the song in general, but MC is on breathy overload here, and I just want her to bust out a belt all the way through it.
I feel awful for doing that. Mariah, if you're reading this, I'm sorry.

Stay Triumphant, keep on living (54,182) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
I was watching the video of "Triumphant" again and I still fail to understand why people don't like it. Anyways I love how at the 2:59 mark Mariah swings from the ring ropes screaming, so cute. The video was amazing. I loved the whole Hollywood meets mobster glamor. The Don and the diva. The gold accents everywhere. Mariah looked gorgeous, Rick Ross has layers of clothes on his body (which is unusual). I absolutely love the entrance with Meek in the middle and Mariah encouraging him while walking him to the ring. The ending chorus with the ad-libs and whistle was gorgeous. I love how MC breaks into a loud whistle whenever it seems like her emotions are overflowing and words are just not enough. I don't know if that happens organically or she decides in advance but it just seems so natural. I am not talking about all case but some, like DFAU, BOTH, Triumphant to name a few. I am dedicating this song to Mariah now. Get 'em. Stay triumphant. Be all that you are and make 'em all fall down. Get up now.

Re: Mariah Carey Archives (54,175) by Lee TS from USA (54,181) by MimiLamb from Germany
Really? Sorry but if something is always posted, it's all news about Mariah, the good, the bad and the harsh articles. I don't think the Webmaster's started posting just certain articles, the tone of a lot of the articles changed, and why not? We don't have to read about the bad only when there is a lot of great stuff online about her as well. Personally I'm very happy the Webmaster didn't post the article from the National Enquirer, there are limits. You know he doesn't just post certain things, just look at the messageboard to see he gives everybody their freedom of speech and I'm sure that even for the Webmaster it's sometimes to a point that it is hard even for him to do so. The same goes for the articles.

Mariah wants to collaborate with herself (54,180) by Lara from Middle East

Rainbow tour, Milan (54,179) by Billy from Greece
In case you haven't checked any videos from the "Rainbow tour" recently and only remember it as the worst tour vocally by Mariah, I suggest you immediately check out the show from Milan. Her vocals and stage presence are outstanding. Honorable mentions go to "Without You" and "My All" (excellent ad libs) while she really grooved to "Dreamlover" and "Honey". Finally, "Crybaby" is awesome too.
