#1 To infinity tomorrow (53,719) by Manny from U.S.
I'm getting ready to head to the airport. I'm going to Vegas with my friend. I'm excited. Tomorrow, we will see Mariah singing her number 1's until infinity. Last time, I saw Mariah in concert was at the Palms in 2009. I made the picture of the T shirt I got at that event, my profile picture. I can't believe it's been that long. I wish I had time to see her in other ways like talk shows tapings, but that's when I work. Hopefully, I can go in July. I'm listening to "Infinity" and really thankful Mariah is doing music and concerts.

#1 To Infinity goes top 10 on Swedish iTunes (53,718) by Baby from Dreamville...Where There's No Beginning & There is No End
Don't believe me just watch. Like most things MC these days, I found out on Twitter from fellow Swedish lambs. Infinity peaked at #11 in the first week here and that to me was a great sign because most of the time Mariah songs don't make that sort of instant impact. But thanks to the lyric video it did just that. I have a good feeling the video will do wonders for the single as well as the album. Fun fact: Earlier this week Mariah's top downloaded song was Emotions while Infinity was at #2. All the top ten downloads were from #1 To Infinity. So this project is obviously exposing her music to a younger demo that have heard the Emotions loop on Dubsmash and are now getting to know the rest of her catalogue. Caution: Good times ahead.

Infinity (53,716) by B from USA
?Tyson Beckford and Jussie Smollett are in the video. Is the third guy James Gordon, the late night show host that did the carpool karaoke skit with MC? Mariah looks stunning.

Kelly & Michael (53,715) by Luis from Spain
I have watched the perfomance like three times already and I truly think her voice was on point. But I find the whole perfomance a bit hilarous haha. First, her dress showed part of her breast in a perfomance held in Disneyland. Second, there was just one piano on stage when many other instruments were playing and lastly one of the choir members looked at Mariah with poker face the first time she belted, like saying "It's my turn." Lol.

Anytime You Need A Friend (53,714) by Bill from the UK
I awoke this morning with the urge to play AYNAF and have had it on repeat all day long. I've been YouTubing the performances from over the years as well. The best live rendition in my view is from Wembley Arena in London whilst on the Daydream tour, if only because I was there that night and it was the perfect end to what was a perfect day. I can't tell you how thankful I am to the Lord for allowing me to attend that concert all those years ago, it was one of the best days of my life. I also want to join all of you with saying how marvellous the Kelly and Michael performance was. She looked and sounded amazing. MC seems to be in a really great place at the moment and I couldn't be happier to see her so content and happy. I love her so much.

Punching (53,711) by Titanicology from
Why are Mariah's backup singers punching the air? Just curious because I don't get it.

Mariah live (53,710) by Randy from USA
She's singing. Is it perfect? No. But she has been looking professional and less nervous than usual. On Live with Kelly & Michael she sounds amazing. Now I could nit pick a lot by saying she's singing along with her pre-recorded voice or the jury's still out whether she's singing that one dramatic part on Infinity where the music is quiet. But she's really working to restore our confidence in her vocal abilities and I'm impressed and am holding my head up higher as a fan.

I get what you mean and I want the same. I am just saying that few days back I was all about the "MC has to get more #1's and whatever", I mean I kept focusing only on her chart performances. I still want her to have that and I don't want anyone to reach her current records, especially the record of most #1's and the 16 week run of OSD. What I meant in my last post is that I am now looking at the bigger picture and I will be fine if the #1's don't happen. But of course my love for Mariah will always make me hope that she beats The Beatles and shut more people up. I'm just trying to be more patient with her now that she is delivering from her side. I think Infinity could have been a bigger hit if she was not tied up in Vegas. Because then she would have more free time to promote it and we have seen that every time she performs it, it shoots up in the charts. But can't really complain because starting with the Vegas residency, Mariah has become more disciplined. So yes one step at a time.

The video (53,707) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
I am so excited about the video. So while I am trying to be patient with it, I have been checking out other MC videos which look similar to the snippets (both video and pictures) that we've gotten so far. So I check out WBT again (this video is timeless). The picture she posted in front of the huge ornate mirror in the hotel room, wearing a bathrobe and the scene where she gets into the car and the guy helps her in and then runs to the driver's seat are scenes that reminds me of the scenes from WBT (the part where she is putting on makeup infront of a mirror which was also shot in a hotel and the ending where Miller helps her into the car). The door opening scene is of course very TMB. The scenes of her in front of the vanity mirror with lights give me a little WBT, ILT and ISIL vibes. I can''t wait to see the full product.

Juan from Dubai and Bino from The Philippines (53,706) by Baby from Dreamville...Where There's No Beginning & There is No End
Thank you both for the brush up on Filipino history as it pertains to the popular pastime of singing karaoke and impersonators. I'm going to reacquaint myself with your suggested tableau of pinoy artists to see if I might have missed a great voice due to my own prejudice. Although, I do remember a young blind girl on YouTube singing a Mariah song (IBT) in a mall She had such a piercing voice and mature tone. I wonder sometimes what happened to her, if she ever recorded anything professionally? Let me go get her name and link it: Katchry Jewel Golbin a.k.a. Alienette Coldfire.
And once again I am wowed by how pleasant her tone is. So much power and musicality without being showy. Truly anointed. I swear I get chills every time I play that clip. Brrrr.

New album colab suggestions / California Roll (53,705) by 123 from USA
I've been loving everything Mariah has been doing lately. From promotion, to the focus on giving more live performances with a noticeable improvement on each one, to the great interviews with the poise, focused, yet fun Mariah of the past. Why has Snoop beaten Mariah on getting a true duet with Stevie Wonder. And add Pharrell in to boot. I need Mariah to make a real duet with Stevie like Snoop's song with that throwback sound. Why not have Pharrell produce with a few lines as well and throw in Snoop for some bars.

Kelly & Michael (53,704) by Jono from USA
Our girl did so well you guys. She was cautious at the beginning of the week but by K&M she was in full force confidence mode. That second head/whistle note at the end of Infinity? RIP. And it's not just the high notes, her belting voice sounds fuller and rich. Whatever she's doing, whether resting or consulting a vocal coach, please keep doing it. I was watching a fan cam of her performance and this little girl stood up as soon as Mariah hit the high C# "dream" to get a better view. If she didn't know who Mariah was, she knows now lol. To think that 25 years in Mariah is still influencing younger generations is so amazing to see.

Thank you Mariah (53,703) by yiorgos from Germany , Berlin
I am sure I am not the only one feeling like that, Mariah has always provided me the soundtrack of my life and the musical support especially on hard moments. And that happened again one more time with Infinity that was released during my break up so I turned to love it (and myself ) more and more particularly when I realized that what I was leaving behind was a made up dream. No matter what I am going through in my life I can always look at Mariah's catalogue and find the right song to relate, to get comfort or strength or to celebrate. Eternally thankful.

Mimi L. (53,700) by Abraham from USA
Well I certainly want Mariah back on the charts. I want The Beatles record to be broken, or at least tied. I really thought that "Infinity" was going to be the song to do that. But we all know how that turned out. Now that Mariah is being confident and sounding a little better, she should drop a better and stronger single. [censored] And webmaster, stop being so sensitive and strict about what people post. None of my messages were disrespectful. [Webmaster: if you think insulting Mariah is not disrespectful, then you're wrong.]

Mariah Carey and Michael Strahan (53,698) by Travon..SweetSweetFantasy from USA
Can someone help me out? I cant stop watching the Disney performance ending. If you look closely to the detail when she side kisses Kelly, she seemed to kiss Michael on the lips. I have watched it a dozen times to see if he could have accidently kissed her thinking it was her cheeck but I don't see how that's possible with their body angles and obvious supposed fling or Aura they have. Did anyone catch him saying, "I love you baby" after the kiss? It was lovely to see. They would make a cute couple and the chemistry they have is amazing.

The Michael and Kelly performance (53,695) by Nick from USA
She slayedthat performance. The fact that she did the whistle again proves how great her voice still is. I am so proud of her. This era has been her best in years, literally every look has been amazing, I don't know what her and her team are doing but whatever it is they should keep it up.

I wasn't responding to you directly just stating that Mariah doesn't shade those who don't deserve it. J.Lo, Nikki, and Arianna all deserved the shade, lol.

Deedre, Mariah is not negative in the least (53,693) by Baby from Dreamville...Where There's No Beginning & There is No End
Celine is part of the vocal trinity, yes, but she has also been greatly insulated from the negative aspects of celebrity in a way Whitney and Mariah never were. Partly it is because she is a genuinely nice person who doesn't go out if her way to be a bitch but to my knowledge, neither did Whitney. And Mariah is too nice for her own good sometimes. My point is, Mariah never seeks out the negativity but because of her perceived threat level (vocalist, singer-songwriter, actress) and status as the one to beat. She attracts the comments of insecure artists who are jealous and envious. That has been true since Madonna, JLo through Christina, Nicki Minaj to Katy Perry. There are countless others but for the sake of brevity they shall remain nameless. Meanwhile, Celine, Mariah and Whitney never had any beef between them. In fact, they seem to all have always been friends once they were properly introduced and never had any falling out. That's the norm with Mariah and not the exception as some would like to falsely report. Mariah responding to digs, daggers and disses that are 100% uncalled for is not her being negative. If anything she's really the modern day Pollyanna.

Can we get a standing ovation in the house? (53,692) by Anthony Basco from Cardiff, Wales
That performance on Michael and Kelly was just too perfect. There can be no complaints. Singing. She sang. And it was perfection. Just so superstar, so sure, so Mariah. I just thought it was incredible. And JLo, honey, checking your phone how to be a good vocalist is less helpful than getting tips from a pro. Different performance, yes, but for [censored] sake, learn something. Talent vs commerciality? Talent wins everytime, regardless of sales. There is a reason MC is regarded as one of the greatest vocalists of all time, and this is why. Go Mariah. So happy.
